This is by far the greatest price to be found on one inch ball bearings. Like many other people on this site, I purchased these for a project involving a monkey fist. They arrived swiftly, were well packaged, and were precisely as advertised (in a sealed plastic bag which was then placed inside a box). Really, the only reason for a review is to counteract the awful one that labeled the item as a joke. It is a rather low move to deduct stars for an attempt at being smart since these reviews have an impact on both the seller's livelihood and the buyer's purchasing decisions. Please lower the rating if you see the review.Oh, they do have an oil coating that prevents corrosion. You might want to soak them in a bowl of warm water with some dish soap if you plan to use them for toys, crafts, or other non-commercial use.

These were purchased in several packs of varying sizes for use in various bicycle bearing applications (rebuilding wheel hubs, headsets, bottom brackets etc).Grade 25 bearings are extremely high-quality, comparable to other "bicycle-specific" bearings of the same calibre that are significantly more expensive for a smaller supply.It's convenient to have the Lot Number listed on the box label alongside the size for each of the sizes I purchased because they all arrived in packs of 100, making it easy to blend bearings from different packs for your usage. According to my understanding, since their tolerances could be a little varied, you shouldn't combine bearings from various lot numbers.
