I already had 508 staples on hand. I discovered that the staple length is indicated by the last digit in 1/16-inch increments. Thus, the 508 staple has a 1/2-inch bite, whereas the 509 has a 9/16-inch bite. For neatness' sake, I loved using the additional 1/16 to loop my outdoor extension cord onto my house close to the socket. The added length was effective. good pillars.

While restoring a wooden playset, I ran these without incident through a Milwaukee M12 Staple Gun. I had no trouble fully seated the 1/2" staples when the voltage was turned up. Nothing was stuck or tied. My staples arrived in good condition. These are the only stainless T50s produced in the USA, as far as I'm aware.

Purchased an EASYSHOT Staple Tacker, only to discover that it uses these staples rather than the typical office size staple. Price at local sources was outrageous, so I turned to Amazon. Even though I was still a little unhappy with the Amazon price, I accepted it as the final price. They were purchased and were a great fit for the EASYSHOT. However, ordinary staples also break when handled, and these are ARROW brand, not a knockoff. They are sensitive to handle because the adhesive holding them in a stick form tends to enable the stick to break with handling. Additionally, I purchased the 3/8-inch version because I couldn't rationalize paying more for the 1/4-inch version. Since the tiniest lengths are the most expensive, each length that was offered had a different price.

I believe the item I purchased is too powerful for my weak, spaghetti-man arms. To get this staple gun to fire, you REALLY need to squeeze the trigger hard. It is NOT for simple domestic projects because it is VERY heavy duty. but a VERY nice product for the purpose for which it was designed. Just wished Amazon offered the standard silver Bostich stapler. This one almost goes too far.

Neither Home Depot nor ACE had the 1/2" width. Happy to discover these on Amazon. They perform admirably in my reliable Swingline #800. The glue holding the staples together is not as strong as it was in earlier batches I had purchased, which is my only concern. Clusters of staples frequently break off when I handle a full row if I'm not careful. Maybe only this batch was affected. I recently wasted quite a few staples on a project as a result. I don't want to change my high-quality, American-made stapler, but it is still better than using none at all.

A good product at a good price. The earlier reviews concerning the packaging not holding up during shipping are accurate. But it's not a big issue.The Central Pneumatic 18 Gauge 2-in-1 Air Nailer/Stapler from Harbor Freight works flawlessly with the staples. These are durable basics. They go all the way into hardwood with my Porter Cable stapler, but if necessary, they are simple to remove using a staple remover. They do not separate. The pricing is a little bit exorbitant, therefore that's the only reason I awarded them four stars. If you don't have a local source, the price is still reasonable. I bought the same staples in a nearby upholstery supply store for just less than half this cost.
