Everything worked flawlessly.I had heard that DIYers may have trouble fixing leaky tub/shower valves. I then viewed two or three YouTube videos.According to the videos, the hot seat should be changed because it is more prone to strip, and a special wrench with reverse threads or a plumber are needed to remove a stripped seat.Therefore, I went all out, buying all new parts, including the reverse thread wrench, to be properly prepared and spending way too much money in order to avoid being stranded with an unfinished project for days.After finishing, I believe the YouTube videos were incorrect.According to the instructions that came with the parts, replacing washers and gaskets (the TA-9 kit), which costs less than $10, is typically enough to stop a leaky faucet. The 25-year-old seats that I (easily) removed are in good condition.Additionally, the instructions state that it is crucial to move the valve to a roughly warm position before unscrewing the cap, which I didn't know or remember to do.(Exact words from the instructions:) WARNING. CAP AND SPINDLE WILL BE HARMEN IF THIS IS NOT DONE.Although I don't understand why it's crucial, Ignoring it is probably best.Before reassembly, it's crucial to screw the spindle into the cap (and this makes great sense to me).All the best to you.

Excellent and thorough instructions were provided. The components required for a complete rough-in were all present. You'll need to have some knowledge of copper soldering to install this, or you may hire a plumber to do it for you. Someone must have tightened down on one of the faucet collars to the point where it collapsed, because I had to replace the exact identical kit, which was probably close to 20 years old. Since there wasn't much holding the hot water cartridge in place, I decided not to chance a flood and simply replaced the complete unit. My previous trim kit, and later the new trim kit I purchased to give my tub a facelift, fit perfectly and snugly on this. The flex tube's design saved me from using a pipe bender that had to meet exact specifications, and the copper in this guy was good, clean material.

Very effective! It is simple to use, and the instructions were clear and concise. To match your hue, just a tiny bit of color gel is required. It took me three batches to get it light enough, but it was flawless. Making three batches wasn't a problem because there was enough epoxy available. I mixed the ingredients together using single-use spoons that I filled to the same level. I was then allowed to discard the spoons. I used a plastic knife to stir it on a paper plate. It was challenging to capture a photo in which you could even see the fix I had performed. I appreciate you producing such a fantastic product.

My tub faucet was dripping. The local retailer offered them at $75 and didn't have any in stock, so I decided against replacing the cartridge (TA10). (Since a new handle, faucet, and shower head cost at least $99, $75 didn't seem like a good deal.) I therefore stopped the leak by replacing the washers (TA9), which were available locally.However, once everything was put back together, the handle turned incredibly tightly and completed a full 360 degrees before coming to a stop. Open the handle to hot before disassembly to prevent injuring the packing nut (btw, I did so before pulling everything apart, so I don't *think* I caused this.). I disassembled everything once more, oiled everything, and the issue persisted. Changing the cartridge fixed the issue. (The old cartridge also should have clicked when shook, thus it needed to be replaced.)

Shower Power Vacuum Breaker External for Hand shower Hoses

I put a Kohler K-9660 ASIN B0014YGM3K a little over four years ago, however it failed by reducing the water flow from my shower head to a barely functional trickle.In addition to the limited service life, I didn't like how the Kohler looked. The white plastic threaded piece that gave this the appearance of being shoddy and hacked together is not visible in the Amazon stock photographs (you can see it in the picture I supplied).I was glad to give this Hansgrohe unit a try because it has an all-chrome finish and was approximately half the price of the other one.I've only been using it for a few weeks, but so far, the performance is satisfactory. In fact, the shower head clearly "jumps" in its cradle when I withdraw the diverter handle from the pressure, and I'm almost positive that I now get higher pressure from my shower head than I did with the Kohler when it was functioning. Will this hold up over time? We'll see; if anything changes, I'll update.The drawbacks are that this vacuum breaker is ugly in and of itself. The odd-looking holes, not the white plastic, are what can be seen from the underside (as I see it looking at it when in the shower — shown in the picture). This would not be apparent if my hand shower had a larger threaded ring to match the vacuum breaker's diameter, but it is unsightly and appears to have been cut in.- The component arrived to me in a little white box without a label or instructions, and unlike the Kohler, it is also devoid of any "Flow" indicators (refer to the Flow marking on the Kohler breaker in my photo). Someone installing their first vacuum breaker might not immediately understand the direction. A 4-page installation guide is available on the Hansgrohe website and clearly demonstrates the proper position.- This artwork does not have any flats. In order to attach it without damaging the chrome finish, you'll need some good soft-grip pliers.
