I coached high school basketball for eight years before switching to coaching my own children as they started high school. I believe this is wonderful. I've owned around ten boards (lost, broken). This one was recently replaced after I lost it a few years ago. It accomplishes its goal. It appears solid. When you take magnetic components out of their molds, they might shatter, but I just crazy glued them. The dry erase board for full and half court means I don't have to erase plays as frequently, and players seem to truly comprehend it.

This was a gift for my brother that I purchased. He needed a tool to develop plays and manage his roster because he coaches young basketball players, and this provided both. He has two choices for setting up plays, front and back. In order to manage the playing time for his youth squad, he also has an area where he may list his roster and make remarks. I have several clipboards that I use to instruct my U11 soccer squad. I've owned 6 different boards so far. Of those 6, only 3 were still in operation. Each has a distinct role. In order to relocate player names easily to positions or onto a substitution section, I have laminated their names and put Velcro tape to our team's configuration. I'm going to make the change on the side of this board that shows the player lineup, and I'll give my assistant coach the old board after I'm done. My all-purpose board will be this dry-erase board. replacing all boards other than one.One of my other boards will remain in use only because magnets will adhere to it. Unfortunately, this board is not made of metal, so I am unable to utilize my magnets to depict plays in motion. Although I don't frequently use the magnets, I like the option of shifting the pieces so that younger children may observe how a play develops. I'm not letting the fact that I knew this board wouldn't function with magnets when I bought it affect my ranking; nonetheless, it will be listed under the "Cons" section. It would literally be the only board I ever needed if it had that feature!The biggest and sturdiest board I've ever owned is this one. Dry erase markers in black and red with erasing pads on the caps are included. They should last longer because they are bigger than the markers that came with the majority of the other boards I've bought. Additionally, none of my other ones have fine point tips like theirs have. Drawing patterns and illustrating plays on the board is significantly simpler because to the fine point. I have severe OCD when it comes to my drawings, and those fat tip markers are the worst!Pros: -The board is the strongest I've used so far. -One side is used to illustrate full-field plays. -Another side is used to display players and lineups. (I'll include the Velcro strips and laminated player names because it's quite simple to unintentionally wipe off names on the lineup side, though that's true of any dry erase clipboard.) For the price, a very high-quality product! The provided dry erase marker has held up in terms of not leaving stains, plus you can use other colors and they won't bleed onto the surface. Just be sure to move quickly and avoid leaving the same markings on the surface for an extended period of time to prevent a residue. Obviously, avoid using permanent markers like Sharpies because they won't wash off. Additionally strong and resilient, the holder enables you to maintain lineups without difficulty. Using this clipboard for two basketball seasons in a row!

My favorite coaching equipment that I have purchased so far in my ten years of coaching soccer is this magnetic clipboard. I adore having magnetic representations of two teams, the ball, and officials. This board is dry erase so you can write plays, players' names, etc. on it in addition to being able to move the pieces around to teach my players soccer coverage and field positions. The dry erase pen and eraser are both magnetic, making it impossible to misplace or drop either. No more erasing notes I made on the board during halftime with my sleeve. All of my players love it when I bring the board out to explain things rather than simply attempting to verbally coach them. The field diagram on the board is incredibly beneficial for players to envision the field and their duties. I liked the idea behind this board and the way it looked. I simply didn't like the concept of a dry erase board and wasn't able to locate one with a magnetic field. I then bought the magnets listed below and attached them to the board using the magnets' adhesive. In order to make it simpler to move the names fast, I used a label maker to write the children's names on the magnets and the positions on the field. For coaching U10 basketball with my kid, I chose this board since it has two sides: a complete court on the front and a half court on the back. I'm happy with my decision. I usually just use my palm to wipe it off throughout a game because the board was delivered spotless and simply but elegantly wrapped. The finish on the board worked well with the dry erase markers. My wife cut out some stickers for our team name on the corners using her Cricut, and they stuck incredibly well! decent product
