For dock edging, I initially bought the "P" profile. I desired the "D" shape for my circular pier pilings, which have a 10" diameter.The "D" profile I received worked perfectly. simple to cut (I used a cordless sabre saw with medium blade). Nicely flattened in the sun. stainless steel #10 x 1-1/2 pilings were used for attachment "Easily driven pan-head screws and washers with a cordless drill driver. Instead of using the traditional sections of flattened fire hose, this should have been done years ago.

Product is excellent and exactly what I expected. Unfortunately, installation is challenging and the fit and finish are subpar due to the roll-up package. The thick, sturdy material has reformed to a tight radius around two-thirds to three-fourths of the way down the roll, making it quite challenging to deal with and install. If you can get it straight enough to anchor, the upper edge will still have ripples, which are really unpleasant. I can't speak for the long-term finish, but I doubt it will be smooth enough for, say, a few weeks' worth of home showings (this instance). I hope this is at least somewhat useful.

I initially created a layout of our pilings, measured each one (be sure to measure them multiple times because they are not exactly round! ), and noted which one was which size. The sizes were generally available (there wasn't a 7 1/2, so I got one 8-inch). When they first arrived, the package was incredibly little. I later discovered that they had been nested for smaller shipping; wonderful! But at that point, I was unsure which was which. There is a little, white, embossed number of the same size on the plastic on the inside, so don't worry. Oh, that was helpful! They pretty much fit our specs; for example, if the piling was 8", I would have purchased an 8" cap.) My spouse occasionally needed to "shave" pieces off with a jigsaw to make it fit. I believe we could have done better with our measurements (ergo the advice to measure in more than one spot). Because it made screwing in simpler, we predrilled. Three stainless screws each were used by us. Because it is a little difficult to take them off after they are on, be sure you are putting them on "square." We adore how perfectly they fit; there are no noticeable holes at the bottom. Nicely done. Though we don't anticipate having to, we would buy again. Only one of the forty or so items we purchased had a top hole that had popped open. With some white caulk we had sitting around, we backfilled it. Not to worry.

If put on a deck boat, there is no warranty! If installed correctly, there is no need for a guarantee. We frequently pull our boat up on the shore in the channel at Havasu, where there are small rocks and sand, and these guards have been working great for the past three years. Once more, careful installation is required; a good installation depends on preparation. It is quite challenging to uninstall once put properly. Do not shortchange the length; you will regret it. Due to inadequate planning or ordering, some of our friends attempted to put these on their deck boats without success. The cost of the guards is not even close to what it would be to have the boat's bottom fixed to prevent continuous shore landing.

My 41 foot Hunter yacht was just relocated to a new concrete marina pier with wooden sides and edges. Despite the fact that I only have a single 50-foot slip, there are days when the wind is strong enough to swing the boat as I am backing it in. The docking wheels are a big assistance in "rolling" the boat into the slip so that it may be secured by lines because they are strong and large enough to take the tension when pressed against. They required no modifications because they were simple to mount and came with plate, drill holes, and big bolts. The typical rubber edge pads on my previous slide ultimately always broke loose or started to pull away. This system is considerably superior.

I was sick of the rollers' run markings on my 21-foot Crownline Boat. If you follow the instructions, it fits and looks fantastic. On Amazon, the price is likewise very favorable. Simply take your time and mark the top spot where you want it. The fiberglass there should then be cleaned. Because acetone dries quickly, I used it. Before you peel the 3M tape off, shape it in the desired location, bend it in the middle, tighten the sides, and attempt to make it as tight as you can. After that, I positioned it from the top, then the sides. To ensure that it was tight, I pushed in every possible spot. then struck the outer edges with a plastic hammer. It works, is made of stainless steel, and looks fantastic!
