well-built, with a lot of padding. For when I store stuff in my truck, I enjoy that there are no labels on the outside to indicate what kind of bag it is. As intended, it can hold two pistols and their magazines with ease, and the main body of the bag is large enough to carry one or more extra pistols to the range.I can go to the range with all I need in this bag. The rest of your equipment is already packed in your luggage; you just need to tuck your preferred pistols inside for the day. It's simple to overfill something and make it too heavy. I keep the following items in this bag. (Despite having all of this in my backpack, there is still place for additional stuff.)- two pistols with magazines, and if I decide to bring three pistols to the range, perhaps a third;- Safety gear, including ear plugs, goggles, a baseball cap, and a first aid package- targets - a stapler and staples - a used brass container - holstersIncludes extras including a leatherman, flashlight, small cleaning kit, and a cloth.pen, markers, paper, and masking tape; various ammunition.The bag's open top, which is a safety concern for padded handgun bags, is something I did not enjoy. The flap of your range bag could fall off the bench if you open it while it's on a shelf or bench, allowing your handgun to tumble out of the open bag. I strengthened the top zippers on the pistol bags. Making this aftermarket was difficult, but it was totally worth it. View my pictures. Shows how it appeared both before and after I made the change, including the zipper. If you don't want to use zippers, I believe you may get the same results by adding a few pieces of Velcro-style closing to the top of the bag.-Standard NRA competition pistol targets cannot be stored in the bag because it is too short. I believe that if the bag had been a few inches taller, the targets would not have had to fold over when placed within it while standing on one of the edges. Even though I use them at practically every place I photograph at, I did not even bother to put them on the bottom of the bag underneath the dividers. I want them to be prepared to exit quickly. I also included a picture of the target inside my bag.-In order to add some Molle bags, additional dividers, or even attach gun bags, I would have preferred the two movable inserts to have either Molle straps or Velcro-like loop fabric. Although the main container has two longitudinal divisions, it feels to me more like three dump zones. I enjoy order and cleanliness. To make the middle a little less of a dump area, I'm seeking for materials to modify the dividers that are already there.I was informed of what I perceived to be faults, but as a sewer, I can attest that creating a bag of this caliber is not a simple or quick operation.Considering the materials and the time it would have taken me to construct it, it is an excellent bargain. With the exception of the lack of height, a person can modify the bag themselves to make it the one they require for their use. Although I enjoy it as is, I still want to complete configuring it for my needs. I believe the majority of people would say this bag is fine or perhaps fantastic. The absence of a closure on the gun bag is a serious safety concern for me, so I was unable to give it a perfect score.

I just got my first set of good binoculars, thus this is my first bino pack. It fits perfectly and appears to be well-built. Although I haven't used it yet in a field, I have worn it around the house and found it to be quite light. It even has my Vortex DiamondBack 10x42s inside, but I don't even see it. I was given this hunting guide pack from a seasoned hunter, and I am now giving it to you! I mostly bought it for when I'll be riding my ATV. It will make it simple for me to get to my binoculars so I won't have to search around in my rear quad bag to find them when I need to glass my 160 acres in Arizona for trespassers and poachers.

Excellent shooting bags, these Caldwell bags. went to the neighborhood Walmart and paid $3.95 for a bag of Special Kitty 25lb clay cat litter. I used the top half of a cut-in-half empty water bottle as a funnel and the bottom half as a scooper. The combined weight of the filled front and rear bags was 11.5 lbs. These Caldwell bags work well with both fixed-stock and collapsible-stock rifles, although the rear bags do not fit tightly. Because they are sealed so tightly, there do not appear to be any leakage problems. Buy the empty Caldwell bags and fill them yourself to save some money. You won't be let down.

I now use this pack whenever I hike more than 10 kilometers in the mountains. I like to pack my own belongings into stuff sacks and appreciated the large main compartment, which held my tiny first aid kit, rain gear, food, a jacket, a pullover, 1.5 liters of water, a one-person alpine bivy tent, and a set of binoculars in a soft case. I kept my backup knife, 550 cable, GPS, gloves, and an extra hat in the smaller compartment. A 3 lb. tripod was fastened to the back using the rifle holder, which was perfect for swiftly setting up for glassing. Other tiny objects were kept in the lateral compartments outside. The lower rear MOLLE attachment points received two straps that I used to secure a compression sack-encased 15 degree down sleeping bag. This backpack particularly shined when it came to holding the tripod or, for long excursions, a rifle, while the tripod was placed in one of the side pockets and secured with a strap. The best hunting backpack I've ever had. I compared this one to another that was five times as expensive and found it to be superior.

This bino enclosure is fairly well designed and executed. There are numerous modifications available, including those for the straps leading to the binoculars. The closure system is mysterious, as has been stated by others. For efficient use, the shock cord is far too long. There are numerous methods to fasten objects to this bag. I fastened a neoprene rangefinder case to the side using zip ties. I then added a substantial magnet to the side cinch strap (wrapped the magnet in gorilla tape, then put holes through the gorilla tape and zip-tied it to the strap so I could still adjust the strap). I merely used the steel plate and magnet from a car phone mount kit that I wasn't using. When I don't want to fuss with putting the rangefinder back in its case, I can quickly do this and connect it to my waist.It's a little awkward to put it on while wearing the binocs because their weight tends to pull everything down. I discovered that you should only clip the opposite side after putting your arm through the side that is still clipped. Nothing major. The binoculars' adjustment straps prevented this from being a possibility, but having clips on top might have made the process easier. Additionally, the top strap connection points prevent you from readily folding the cover back (if you want to keep it open for a while). It is still possible, although it is very crowded. It would have been better if the attachment points had been placed closer to the outer edges, but again, I suspect that would have had detrimental effects on other things. If an animal is far away enough to use binoculars, I suppose they won't notice if you flip a cover on your bag to stow your binoculars.The components are fairly robust. Since any part of the case will make noise when touched, noise is a minor concern. However, given where it is on your chest, that shouldn't be a problem. I'm unable to speak at this time on its capacity to shed water. Since I previously only used a harness, the binos would frequently become covered in dust, pine needles, snow, and other debris. However, this should be a noticeable improvement.Although I haven't yet used it for hunting, I've done a lot of (bow) shooting while wearing it. It does not obstruct my ability to sketch. Just ensure sure there aren't any protruding loose straps. To keep loose ends organized, they offer elastic wraps.With the exception of the RMEF emblem on the front, this harness appears to be a perfect duplicate of the other ALPS harness.

SECURE THIS PACK! You won't be sorry. This pack has all the pockets, external straps, and organization I need for a simple day on a stand because I hunt deep inside public land and usually spend the entire day sitting. The shoulder straps are both incredibly robust and comfy. Additionally, the waist belt is quite cozy and contains a pouch pocket on each strap for carrying small items when hiking. I fill up this thing! The secondary section contains a ton of little accessory compartments that are perfect for organization! Since they are mesh pockets with an elastic lining, nothing moves about in them and they are quiet. This backpack holds the weight with ease when I hang it from a tree using its top handle. With camera equipment and extra clothing, I'd guess the weight is usually around 35 pounds. When it rains or snows, the rain bag comes in quite handy. It is easily accessible and can be detached for many applications on you or other equipment.I can't express how wonderful this bundle has been so far enough!

Excellent bag, but lacks internal structure, which makes carrying objects that cause significant bumps uncomfortable (ie lightweight chairs, tripods, etc). Despite the fact that I love Badlands a lot, I'll try to return my own after using it a few times for the following reasons: (1) not tough enough for what I need (seemed bigger in pictures/reviews, no internal frame), and (2) a few minor design flaws (such as being unable to zip/unzip pockets on hip belt due to awkward angle of zipper, holstering/unholstering handgun is quite tricky even with my flexible shoulders, and not a one-size-fits-all when it comes to waist/shoulder height adjustment). Plenty enough storage space for my insulated hunting boots and all of my hunting equipment. The use of a double zipper system maintains everything as airtight as possible without using a vacuum seal. I bring my hunting clothing right out of the washer and hang them up here without worrying about being caught. However, I still hunt the wind because no scent control or scent eliminator product can guarantee that a deer won't smell you even if they are directly downwind of you. Although the product is really noisy (thus the four stars), I'm still happy with it overall and will keep using it to store my hunting supplies!

I believe I may have located my last hunting pack at last. I haven't used it in the field yet, which is a shame, but from what I can tell just looking at it and loading my gear, it appears fantastic. Knives, gloves, beanies, and other small goods can be stored separately in the smaller storage pocket's interior smaller elastic mesh pockets. Large and easy to fit a range finder are the exterior mesh pockets on the corners. The straps holding the exterior pocket, which collapses into a little table-like shape, are sturdy and ought to hold. Each side of the waist strap contains a sizable pocket that can be removed when not in use. The sling is already fitted with my rifle and bow, and they both have tight, strong straps. The bladder hydration compartment is fantastic. It can fit my 3-liter bag without a difficulty, and the right shoulder strap has a lovely plastic clip where the drink tube may be attached. In order to prevent the bag from slipping to the bottom of the pocket, there are also two clips to retain the water bladder at the top. Plenty of equipment and clothing will fit in the large storage pocket. I believe I could stay there comfortably for a three-day hunt. When not in use, the rain cover and bow/rifle sling may be neatly stored away and will remain out of the way. Pull tabs are held open by ribber coating to make it easier to reach with gloves, and zippers are quite sturdy. A bow quiver attached to the side is visible in the photographs. Quiver is NOT included, but it demonstrates how simply they attach to the side. Amazon is offering a terrific discount because the Alps OutdoorZ website lists the item for $129.00 at retail. I assume Amazon made a pricing error, so I won't tell you what I spent, even if I got mine a little cheaper. No one would, in my opinion, be let down by this pack.I've purchased three hunting-specific backpacks in the previous three years, including this one. I also have a GamePlan Gear Over-N-Under 3-in-1 Pack System and a Badlands Source pack. Both are quite good in their own right, but I believe I now have all I require thanks to the Alps Pursuit pack. Happy hunting and I hope this helps!UPDATE 7/8/19: I've been using the pack in the field for the past two years while going turkey and deer hunting, and it has lived up to my expectations in every way. I have strapped both a rifle and a bow to my back, and the strap method works great for both. will accommodate a large hydration bladder and all of your stuff for a multi-day or multi-day journey. I have absolutely no problems about my pack, and everything is well-made with zippers and stitching. With this pack, you won't be dissatisfied.

One day arrived NICE. I'll report back after the event (if the review needs to be changed), but I bought it for a 14-hour endurance race. After reading other reviews, I decided to buy this bag because it must be sturdy enough to hold the 35 lbs. of goods inside. As it feels supple and sturdy, I'm hoping it will hold. My first bag, a diff one, broke after a week. Under weight, plastic clips don't seem to hold up very well. I hope the plastic connectors on this one are stronger.Despite being heavy, it is comfortable. Since I'm a petite woman, I was hoping the strap portions wouldn't be too wide. For any sizing comparisons, I am a girl that is 5'3" and 130 lbs.Positives: 1. Amazing strapping with lots of attachment points.2. There are numerous adjustment points, allowing you to change the fit.3. A designated location for hydration with a hose hole.4. So far, I really like the pockets and the easy-access hip pockets.5. Molle strapping is awesome for attaching carabiners and other items to.Currently, there are a few challenges or drawbacks:1. Filling the water station. The insulation sounds like an excellent concept, but inserting a 2L bag into the region requires patience because it is sticky.2. Smell: There was a strong chemical smell. It smells strangely of petroleum, even though I am aware that the canvas has undoubtedly been treated in some way.3. Rear reflective piping for visibility in the dark or at night.I'm off to get ready and will update you whether this bag helps me succeed in this endurance challenge.
