Grading Calculator - E-Z Grader Teacher's Aid Scoring Chart - Breast Cancer Edition (Pink) - 8-1/2" x 4-3/4" Review:

I came upon this wonderful resource while I was a student teacher. I enquired about the green one from my cooperating teacher as she was using it. I was impressed when she demonstrated how to utilize it to me. Calculating grades is very simple with it! The grade in percentage points can be seen by simply pulling or pushing the insert to represent the number of problems and the number of problems a student got wrong. It is stated in the E-Z Grader that the ratings are based on "all issues being of equal importance. The benefit of one-half is applied when grades are rounded to the nearest full percentage. On examinations with up to 95 total issues, grades are given for up to 34 incorrect problems." Calculating manually or using a calculator is preferable to this. Teachers can never have enough of these time savers, which are truly invaluable!

Grading Calculator - E-Z Grader Teacher's Aid Scoring Chart (Original) - 8-1/2" x 4-3/4" Review:

Electronics might occasionally require more work than traditional tools. I grade a lot of work as a teacher. Four inputs are required to calculate a grade using an electronic calculator: grade earned, division, total points, and equals. It takes a long time to complete that many tasks and there is a risk of pushing the wrong key accidentally. The EZ grader truly is simple. Simply read the student's grade after selecting the assignment's total points. People who receive these as gifts adore them for the same reason I do—they're quick and precise to grade. I store it in my grade book so that I can utilize it whenever and wherever I need to.This exact app is available in the Apple Store, but the paper EZ grader is still easier to use and has the extra advantage of being more portable, lighter, and always charged. The numbers are in small print, perhaps in a 9 or 10 point font, which is my only complaint. This is done to keep the grader at a manageable size, but if small text bothers you, be ready for it.Purchase one and gain back hours of your time every week!

Pacon Chart Tablet, 24"x32", 25 Sheets/Tablet Review:

The pricing is a little excessive for only 25 sheets of paper, but I enjoy the colors and the line spacing. If you're anything like me, you'll finish all 25 sheets in a week. However, the chart hangs from a large book easel with ease and the paper is of a respectable grade. Sharpies bleed through, so to avoid this, you might want to place something behind the paper each time you write on it. Overall, this chart tablet is useful when I want to give my anchor charts a little more color. Although I would definitely occasionally repurchase it, I wouldn't classify it as a "staple" among school supplies.

School Smart Chart Table Pad, 24 x 32 Inches, 1 Inch Grids, 25 Sheets Review:

I purchased this to create dungeons and dragons battle maps, but I can see it being handy for many other projects. It works out to around 30 cents per sheet, which is a reasonable price. However, because the paper is so thin, using permanent markers may cause spillage onto your table. I found it a little tedious to meticulously separate each sheet from the spiral binding, but your experience may differ.

School Smart Primary Chart Paper, 24 x 32 Inches, Ruled 1-1/2 Inch with Dotted Midline, White, 70 Sheets Review:

I got this to clip under a sizable dry erase presentation board, however the weight of the 70 sheets makes it unsupportable. Even resting against something, it won't stand up on its own. In order to put this chart paper on the board I had in mind, I will need to clip up each page individually. I don't mind doing that, though, considering the cost.

School Smart Ruled Rainbow Sentence Strips, 3 x 24 Inches, Rainbow, 43 lb, Pack of 100 Review:

Although the strips are thin like conventional paper, I appreciate the colors and the fact that they have two sides. They are not even the weight of a piece of cardstock. I can write on them, decorate headbands with them, and attach them to another poster around the classroom. I know I shouldn't have expected thick cardstock for the price, but I didn't see any information that indicated it would be thin and unable to stand up on its own.
