When my high school pupils arrived from different classes, I utilised the spindles to collect their passes. The top of the spindle is not pointed, which is the only aspect I find annoying. But I suppose it's okay as long as the kids don't lose an eye!

Unexpectedly nice—and exactly what I needed. I ordered two, and both had rips in the black plastic tip covers when they were delivered. I was initially angered by it since I didn't like the thought of unintentionally getting stabbed. However, I've discovered that I can utilise these just as they are. If you merely don't fully push the points down, they offer protection.

My mother requested a few of them for who knows what, so I bought some for her. To display grandchild art, I suppose? I persuaded her to give me some when I finally saw them. In fact, they are used for new things every day.PROS: They are reasonably priced and are manufactured fairly well. These were ideal for my son's birthday party, which had a Hungry Caterpiller theme. They were holding a placard that listed each food item that the caterpiller consumed according to the book on the buffet table. They are really little, and I doubt they could hold a complete 4x6 photo. It would simply collapse. Thankfully, my place cards were just 3 x 2 in size.

So, at a reception, we used these to support the table numbers. Our table numbers were printed on sturdy cardboard that was cut into good, thick rectangles. These worked out well because they were more elegant than a stick with a clothes pin and they didn't hold up the numbers higher than the centrepieces. The holders didn't overturn. They are barely higher than the table by a few inches.

I was a little concerned about the size because I don't have much room. As soon as I got it, I liked the size. Because I color-code my materials, I don't like it when my post-it notes stack on top of the others. It has enough strength. It won't slide because of the clutching on the bottom. I haven't been let down by the price I spent thus far.
