In Oregon, I primarily ride enduro-style trails. I'm really happy with how much grip I have in the corners. I've run the Specialized Slaughter and even attempted the Forte Pisgah2 in the past. This tire appears to be lot tougher than the Specialized (I was constantly getting punctures with this tire), has a ton more traction than any of the two, and is also significantly lighter than the Pisgah. I must admit that I am particularly harsh on rear tires, so I'm glad to report that this one is living up to expectations. awesome tire

I solely rode GP4000/s before turning tubeless roughly five years ago. Finding a reliable tire that offers a good ride and handling has been my biggest challenge with going tubeless. When I learned that Conti was releasing the 5000 series and that a tubeless version will be available, I knew that after years of sacrificing tubeless tires and spilling orange sparkly blood, I had finally won the bike gods' approval.I've only had these on my bike for about 150 miles, so I can only comment on the installation and ride. For an accurate assessment of durability and handling, additional kilometers will be needed.Compared to the several Hutchinson types I've previously used, these were more challenging to put on the rim. Of course, your experience will vary depending on the rim you're using. When attached, the bead quickly hardened and was already airtight without any sealant.The ride is comfortable, perhaps comparable to the GP4000S (it's been a long since I rode with tubes, so it's hard to compare). It's okay that they aren't as tacky as the Schwalbe Pro One. I'm hoping they will turn out to be a better blend of performance and longevity after gashed open two sets of Pro One tires in less than 500 miles each and had uneven durability from Hutchinson (Fusion, Atom, Sector).I'll update the evaluation as soon as I have enough miles to judge them by (or any failures). However, everything are going well thus far.

They come highly recommended from me. Again, I haven't logged many miles, so I can't speak too much about the puncture resistance. I also don't frequently ride over things like glass fragments, thorns, thumbtacks, or spike strips. I've experienced no problems thus far.I mounted them on a Trek FX 3 for anyone that are interested. Simple hybrid commuter with an AL frame, a carbon fork, and a simple Shimano groupset. I have, however, been examining the Trek Checkpoint SL5. These tires (28mm) would be perfect for a gravel bike, and I'd be happy to go on some road climbs and group rides.



Continental Gatorskin Bike Tire - DuraSkin Puncture & Sidewall Protection, Road Bike Replacement Tire (23c, 25c, 28c, 32c) Review:


These had been on my want list for almost a year. What held me back from taking the plunge was trying to justify the $80 purchase. However, I had already purchased a set of Hutchinson tires that were less expensive and had received positive ratings from some of the bike magazines I read. I also acquired my first apartment in over a year with that buy. Prior to that, I was using the Specialized black belted tires that came with my Allez. They do come in at $55 per tire. Which is why I sought a more affordable choice. I cycle 5000 miles a year. I frequently live far away from assistance, so that's more than 100m per week. The 80 dollar fee for the Gators after getting the flat was certainly justifiable. I gave these five stars just for the peace of mind. I just so happened to watch a video after making this purchase that compared the rolling resistance of this tire to a number of different Continental tires. The tougher shell of this tire makes it slower even though it has better puncture resistance (Gator Hardshell tires are the hardest). I lost a speed of 1 to 2 mph. However, the fact that I am far from home and don't have to worry about a flat as much only makes me feel better about traveling, which is why I gave these the maximum rating of 5. And the setback offers me a reason to strengthen myself. However, in accordance with the video I indicated previously in my review, when these tires wear out, I'll upgrade to Continental Grad Prix tires. They provide comparable puncture protection while being a quicker tire.The wire in the wire bead gives them a stronger side wall, which is why I chose them. I had a really difficult time putting these on as a result. If you acquire the wire, be prepared for a fight because this tire ranks as the hardest install of all the bikes I work on. So that my child could cycle to school, I switched my mountain bike tires for these comfort bike tires. You should pair them with Sunlite Bicycle Tubes (would stay away from the Slimes tubes if possible). Very pleasant and smooth ride.I chose the Schwinn over the Kendall since it seemed like a better bargain and the Kendall appeared to wear down quickly. The tires were a little bit stiff when I initially took them out of the package, but 30 minutes in the sun seemed to loosen them up a bit. Install was moderately simple; on a scale of 1 to 10, it received a 3, (with 1 being easiest). After being mounted, the tubes and tires surrounded the rim without any obvious deformation.Those wishing to replace their mountain bike tires with comfort tires should most definitely consider these tires.9/26/2015 Update:I purchased two more for my younger son's bike because I adore these tires so much. Together with the 26 x 1.90 Sunlite Standard Presta Valve Tubes, these tires perform admirably. I decided to add additional pictures and instructions after reading numerous comments regarding the challenges some folks had mounting the tires.1. Fill the tube with just enough air to make it self-circle.2. After inserting the tube and valve into the rim, wrap the tire around the two components. The tire is currently barely around the tube and hasn't been pushed in.3. At this point, just concentrate on pushing the tire into the rim from one side. It is easiest to begin at the valve; just make sure the tire's blue line can no longer be seen. Concerning the tire's opposite side, don't worry.4. Continue going around the tire and pushing it into the rim until just one edge of the tire is sticking out.5. After that, turn the rim over and begin working on the opposite side. Once more, begin at the valve and push the tire into the rim.6. You will run into resistance when you are about 7/8 of the way through the tire. I pushed the final 1/8 of the tire in using the handle of a wrench as leverage. USE NO SHARP TOOLS AT ALL.7. After that, simply softly pressurize the tire. Lock down the valve nut. To ensure that the tube is distributed evenly, give the tires a couple bounces.8. Verify that the tire is fully seated in the rim; there SHOULD NOT BE A BLUE LINE ON THE TIRE.9. Continue doing this until the container is entirely filled.Each tire normally took me around 10 minutes to change using only my hands and a wrench. I hope these pictures are useful.



Wanda Beach Cruiser Tires, 26 inch & 29 inch x 2.125 Review:


The only reason I gave these tyres 4 stars is because they are ordinary and nothing spectacular. Bicycle tyres measuring 26 x 2.15 are precisely what is described. Whitewalls. The cost was extremely affordable. Whitewalls ended up being more affordable because blackwalls were $1 less but not on Prime. The tyres were simple to install and arrived promptly in excellent shape. Additionally, I purchased new tubes and wheel liners (spoke strips.) For a Garden Way Model 26 Cart that I repaired, I bought them. I figured the whitewalls would look nice on it (picture).



Goodyear Folding Bead BMX Bike Tire, 20" x 2.125" Review:


I'm really happy that Goodyear has entered the bicycle tire industry! As a daily commuter, I use a three-wheeled luggage trike with two 20-inch tires up front, and I go through around three pairs of 30$ Schwalbe tires every year. In the midst of a flat tire emergency, I purchased these, and I'm so pleased I did. The white ones were simple to install and arrived in 1 day. They are far stickier, grippier, and gummier as BMX tires than the ones I was wearing before. Although I believe this adds some drag, they perform well in the rain and have been subjected to numerous potholes in the past month with no evidence of wear or punctures.



Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Home Trainer Fold Tire Review:


Update as of 3/29/19: Almost no wear has been noticed after 2100 miles of use with the turbo trainer. Where the tire touches the trainer, there is some blackening, but it is caused by the metal of the trainer rubbing off onto the tire. This is a crazy thing. Although I'd be happy to get another, I don't believe I'll need one for a while.Updated on March 29, 2018: Despite putting more than 1300 miles on this turbo trainer tire, it still looks brand new. My trainer has a very small amount of red dust on it, but nothing significant. This tire is still working like new after more than 1300 miles.Since purchasing a smart trainer, I have nearly exclusively used these. I initially used my standard outdoor tire, but I soon realized it was wearing out far too quickly, so I opted to get replacements. I've put well over 550 miles on my trainers, and you hardly notice any wear. They connect with my trainer really well. It was easy to mount them to my wheel as well. I constantly employ tire levers. These are something I have two of, one for my wife and one for my bike. Both of them are doing amazing work.



Continental Grand Prix 5000 Performance Road Bike Tire Review:


First impressions: My ENVE 3.4's carbon tubeless wheels' installation was significantly simpler. The 5000 TLs did need me to utilize levers, but they were quite simple to install. To raise the tire onto the rim beads, I use an air compressor. Putting the tire on the Pro Ones' carbon rims required so much pressure that I worried I could crack the levers. The Cont. 5000 TL tire and the previous Pro One tire are both 28mm tires. The 5000 TLs are substantially smaller than the Pro Ones in both width and height. In actuality, my front wheel has a Pro One 25mm, which is larger than the Cont. 5000 TL on the back. Therefore, the Pro Ones are bigger and lighter than the Cont. 5000 TLs. I do wonder whether the Cont's having less tire volume for the same size tire as the Pro One's will influence ride comfort and rolling resistance. The Pro Ones are my second pair, and I have ridden them for roughly 6,000 miles. Other than the fact that they were a little challenging to install, I have no issues. I haven't ridden the Conti 5000 TL tires yet, having just fitted them on the back. After traveling a few hundred miles, I'll report back to you on how they handle and ride.
