The six ignition coils came in a new, attractive box. When the parts store only sells one ignition coil for more than that amount, $35 for 6 is a great deal! I replaced my coils with Accel units four years ago, believing they would be the best and last a LONG time. Perfectly functional on my F150. The inside of the plug wires is flat, making it a little more difficult to snap them in, as opposed to the Motorcraft ones, which are cone-shaped and guide the plug wire into the hole. After my 2002 TrailBlazer's check engine light illuminated, I purchased these. I visited the nearby Advanced Auto Parts since I believed I just had one defective ignition coil. I required several coils, as I learned after changing it. The one I purchased from Advanced was also an aftermarket coil and cost around $55. Not wanting to spend more than $300 for six of these, I searched Amazon and discovered these. Like everyone else, I assumed that if it seemed too good to be true, it probably was. I'm pleased I gave these a try because I figured that, worst case scenario, I could return them if they were rubbish. This was untrue; they are AMAZING. For only $10 more, I had these delivered overnight to my house, where I installed them the next morning. Although this is not a Delco/Delphi OEM component, there was absolutely no visual or weight difference between it and the aftermarket part I purchased from Advanced. I'm positive that was the same one. It required several tries to get these properly installed in my car (I have had similar issues with the OEM ones just because of the engine design). After I installed these and new spark plugs, my truck was operating rather well. But I was startled when I got my next fill-up. My car is operating better than it has in years now, therefore I must have had some terrible gas. And for those reviewers who claimed to have received some faulty units, check sure it is properly positioned.

A week or two later, the minor misfire that had been present in 2004 Mazda 3s had changed to a not-so-slight misfire. Oil was discovered in plug wells 2 and 3, and I changed the valve cover gasket (get the FelPro better design!). That halted the oil leak but did not stop the misfire, so I moved on to the plugs.
