What else is there to say? It's a nut, it fits, and the manufacturer sufficiently matched the thread specifications of the CV axel assembly that hand tightening it was not a problem. It was a little emotionally taxing to bend the nut into the slot because of its glossy, unblemished polish, but I persisted and struck the nut with a set until it was unrecognizable and I was sobbing on the garage floor.

This appears to be a perfect replacement for the OEM nut on my 2008 Prius. To get the dent back out of the groove and enable rotation of the original nut, I removed it using a tapered punch. I was unable to reuse the nut since undenting it messed up the threads. I used a taper punch and a hammer to lock in the new nut after it went on properly. I have no issues with this nut.

Tools are well-made, fit perfectly, and function perfectly. They are docked one rating due to the tools' polish. They have a flat, cheap-looking finish that is readily scratched, is difficult to keep clean, and gives the impression that a stage in the coating process was overlooked. Many products made by Gearwrench, KD Tools, and the Danaher tool group have this coating. Since these guys are utilized on parts that require gear oil and bearing grease, I wish they would use a smooth surface that is easy to clean.

When changing your hub assembly, replace these with solid, high-quality alternatives.I have 35 hub nuts for my 2008 Dodge Charger 3.5L RWD (35). NOT 36.Neither my Haynes manual nor the internet contained any information. How absurd. When something as crucial as your wheel hub assembly just costs a few dollars, don't compromise on it.precise fit to OEM.

Yes, these nuts resembled the stock spindle nuts on my 1981 Chevy K-10 very, very closely. The stock nuts were easily replaced. Actually, very much. so that initially my standard spindle nuts would have functionedWhen the spindles need to be serviced, however, using the Warn nuts is undoubtedly a huge advantage as they lock down far better than the GM factory supplied units.

On a 1983 Jeep CJ-5, I utilized these for bearing and spindle work. These parts were bought to replace nuts that had been damaged by a prior "mechanic" using a chisel and are very nicely built. Would buy these again if necessary.

It looks better than ideal! also has the bearing installed! And from what I can tell, there are no flaws at all; the threads are incredibly smooth and beautiful.
