had a high-pitched buzzing sound coming from the right back door. After some investigation, I discovered that it was the actuator assembly. Part came in brand-new condition and arrived on time. after seeing an accessible web video, it took around an hour. A long flathead screwdriver can be inserted into the little round hole to be used to get under the actuator rod and pop it out when removing the actuator rod from the outside door handle after releasing the clip. Additionally, take care when using the three impact screws on the exterior door frame. I exclusively use genuine Honda parts, and if you need a replacement, I recommend this product.

This component matched *all* of the 2006 Honda Civic's original bolts. seen the "How to Install Replace Front Door Check 2008 Honda Civic" video on 1A Auto. One extra Phillips-head screw is present behind the arm rest of a 2006 Civic. I took the top-right rubber plug from the vapor barrier and peeled back a third of the vapor barrier to make installation simple. I then rested the removed door panel on a box with the mechanical control cables still attached. It can be useful to use a plastic pry tool or even some tiny pick hooks. All is well once more!

Arrived incredibly quickly. These are fairly simple to install (with a little assistance from YouTube: [...] and if you flip the panel 90 degrees and support it up on something like a milk carton, you actually don't have to unhook the door handle connection). Keep in mind that door 72340 is the RIGHT one (72380 is the left)

My 2003 Wrangler Rubicon doors' OEM Jeep door pins have a slightly smaller diameter than these ones. These, however, function just well. Invest in an air hammer to avoid regret! They can be easily driven out using an air hammer rather than by swinging a hammer at your doors. The nuts on the ends of these pins are the same size as the factory door nuts, in case you were wondering! The kit only includes two pins, two nuts, and no bushings, as others have noted.Again, this kit does not include any bushings. You get exactly what you see.

The person who awarded one star is referring to a defective door lock actuator. He mentioned a buzzing sound and the inability of his locks to be raised or lowered (not this portion). Thankfully, the motor inside the lock actuator burns out less frequently than this. I'm going to replace a door with this new door latch that won't completely close and leaves the door ajar for me. My 1999 closed door has a plastic piece on the "mouth of the latch" where it links to the door strike, but it has entirely worn out and is missing, so the connection is not firm. causes my door to jiggle a lot and to warn me that the door is open. I'm hoping that this will also fix the back light on my truck bed that, when the door is closed, stays on and finally burns out. I won't update my review until I have purchased this.

Fix for 'spinning barrel syndrome'

An E46 3 Series lock that simply spins when the key is turned has to be fixed. There are no instructions provided, but you can find a ton of DIYs online (but beware, because some of them are very good and some are just wrong). You only need to use one of the two almost identical collars, so be sure which one you're using. Left and right collars are supplied. The key will spring to the horizontal position as opposed to the vertical position if you use the incorrect one. The task would have taken around 30 minutes as opposed to the hour and a half it did if the YouTube instructions I attempted to follow had been accurate. In order to make the lock run smoothly and prevent binding, which could lead to premature failure, I advise reusing the existing spring as others have suggested. You should also make sure to use enough of oil both during and after assembly on all moving parts. One star less for the absence of instructions and no indication of which components are left and right, and five stars for the quality and fit of the parts.
