There is nothing wrong with these decals. They fit my 2008 Yukon Denali's buttons perfectly. Following the instructions, I delicately peeled the decals from the sheet and stuck them on the end of a toothpick to help position them on the buttons. Everything went well on the first try. Some advice: - Make sure the vehicle or button is warm; - Don't scrape your buttons clean from edge to edge, or the edges will show light; instead, just clean the area where the light will show through, leaving any lifted edges alone (you could use a razor blade instead of peeling to leave clean edges; I didn't have any lifted edges). Please check out my photos. It appears perfect in broad daylight. Even though it still looks fantastic at night, if I were to recreate it, I would only paint over the region of the button where the light shows through the icon. As you can see, there is no difficulty in seeing the light through the icons, with the exception of my power button, where I should have removed any remaining paint beneath the symbol area to ensure that the button lit up throughout. I am content enough with it to avoid bothering, but if I were to get too ambitious, it would be simple because the three packs have enough decals for me to really make it perfect if I so desired. Additionally, I selected "No haste delivery," which only added one day to the delivery time (3 days total), and I was given a $8 food pantry credit, making these decals cheap 29 cents (I actually feel a little guilty - lol).

Easy installation: Just tear out the decals and put it on the radio control buttons, clean the surface of any dirt and oil before apply it on. If you like to scratch the original sticker off, please Note that don't go ckear to the edge, the stickers Don't cover the round outer dash edges.

The stickers as seen in the photos look fantastic during the day. Unfortunately, the red, green, and blue push through the stickers to exhibit a slight distortion at night when the buttons are lighted. This would undoubtedly receive a five star rating if the black on the stickers were a little bit thicker or denser. Even so, it still appears far nicer at night than it did during the day.

Personal Advice: Removing all of the existing paint before installation is not advised. After cleaning the buttons with alcohol, let them dry. Apply the decals after aligning them. I applied them two months ago, and they're still looking wonderful. The adhesive is simple to use and quite strong.

Since it is a sticker, I decided to write the review sooner rather than later given the circumstances. Normally, I wait a little while before I write reviews. First of all, the stickers are of good quality and have adhesive on the back when you receive them. So far, they are standing up well to regular use. To the point that they cover the borders of the HVAC controls, however, I would prefer to see them a little larger. You can see in the image that the green is showing through more on the blower control's edges than it is on the temperature control side. Install is a little bit of a pain, but it is totally doable. To prevent the sticker from sticking to the control button, I had to position it just right with the help of tweezers. I would also strongly advise cleaning off any excess paint or other coating that may have been applied the first time. So far, scraping the roof access with a razor blade and rubbing alcohol has worked for me. The durability of this button will be put to a lot of use as Texas summer approaches, but only time will tell how well it holds up. However, I've now discovered that the corner on top of the button is beginning to peel back. Maybe I did this intentionally when I originally stalled it, but it's okay because I have two sets of stickers, so I can fix it if necessary. Apart from that, it resembles a factory control button. I'm happy with it and am eager to see how it will fare in the Texas heat.

When I got these to replace the buttons on my suburban, I was overjoyed. If the instructions stated that you should clear off the hold button before applying the sticker, it would be helpful. It is recommended to make sure the entire button is removed so that the sticker can function properly and show through as it should. The buttons on this black suburban are having difficulties remaining stuck as it gets heated, I've noticed. I did not completely remove the face of the button that was there before I placed the sticker, therefore I had to use a second set of the buttons that were supplied to repeat my original application. Although I am glad to get them replaced, I wish there had been a little more clarity in the guidelines and I would have had to complete two applications and waste a sticker. Due to my preference for having the face back on my button, I would repurchase this product.

Prior paint removal and preparation are crucial. The original paint is incredibly inexpensive. 1) Avoid scraping it away. To completely remove the paint, use Goof Off or nail polish remover from the dollar shop. Nail polish remover was employed. 2) Trace the button's outline using a Sharpie pen with an extremely fine tip. To prevent painting the chrome outline, I used a stiff piece of wax paper to separate it from the button. 3) When you apply the sticker properly, it will be applied perfectly. Nighttime won't allow light to pass through.

purchased a great used car with worn-out control buttons. Even though we had identified each control through experimentation, it was still simple to confuse them. The inadequate climate control buttons in GM trucks from 2007 to 2013 can be much improved with this device. It's not as straightforward as it first appears because, according to other reviews, the damaged button may be seen through the sticker at night.1. To prevent additional damage, tape off the area you are working on.2. Sand or scrape the painted buttons that have been damaged.3. Use rubbing alcohol to clean and allow to air dry.4. Use a black Sharpie to outline the green button. (If not, the green will be seen around the rim)5. Permit the Sharpie to dry before cleaning it again with alcohol.6. Stick the sticker on.Even when the lighting is poor at night, if the paint is properly scraped, the damage won't be visible. GM ought to feel guilty for utilizing such subpar components on these trucks.
