Since the door in my apartment wasn't installed correctly and doesn't seal properly, I got this tape to apply on the siding of the door. I used it more as a blackout device so that neighbors wouldn't be able to see the light coming from my apartment and assume my door was unlocked. Great results! It adheres to the siding far better than the old electrical tape I was using, which I had to re-fix to the siding at least once a week even with the friction of the door opening and closing. Since then, I've covered some sharp hooks with this to prevent my cat from getting hurt or entangled in them, and it also works fantastically for that. I am aware that these aren't conventional applications for electrical tape, but I believe they demonstrate its usefulness. Use of this on exposed wires like charging cords, etc., would be fantastic. The use of electrical tape for that purpose in the past, meanwhile, has frequently left a sticky mess and some residue on the cables a week or two after application. Due to the fact that I own a business that repairs computers and electronics, I have bought numerous varieties of double-sided tape. Double-sided tape is frequently helpful when fixing devices when you don't want to use glue. I've used Swelder and other brands, but I've always known that 3M is the best since I always felt certain that everything I bought that had 3M already on it would stay in place. So I eventually went out and bought a roll of double-sided 3M tape.This adhesive tape is really quite amazing. It doesn't adhere properly to all surfaces; I've experienced this with plastic. However, External Attachment Tape from 3M is usually an excellent option for keeping things in place. I've used it to hold components firmly in place inside laptops and desktop computers. On both metal and wood, I've used it. Overall, the product is excellent. For usage inside phones and other mobile devices, I need to get a smaller, thinner version, but for all other uses, this tape should work just well.It's not like regular tape, though. It resembles cement and has a gluey or bubblegum-like substance. This makes it somewhat adaptable. I prefer it that way for my applications. It can somewhat squish and form a ring around the object under pressure. Additionally, unlike certain glues, it is not impossible to remove once applied.Overall, I will continue to use 3M going forward because they have never disappointed me while other manufacturers have. Highly suggested.

As a final resort, I bought this tape to hold our "Rear View Camera" to the lens of our rear interior light (Hyundai Santa Fe). We live in Las Vegas, where high temperatures (between 120 and 130 degrees Fahrenheit) inside a parked automobile may melt even the strongest adhesive tape, as I have personally experienced with most of them. As that happens, the purpose of having a rear view camera is essentially defeated. Their tape would adhere for about a week before giving out, and our camera would drop and then wobble like a pendulum when we were driving. Then, after deciding I had nothing to lose, I stumbled upon this 3M tape and ordered it along with another kind of 3M tape. I first applied a small bit of this. This tape appears to be enjoying the heat inside our car, and it has been doing so for about two months. The heat caused skin to peel and eyebrows to burn. If you have a difficult, sticky project, get it, but make sure you help it by performing a small amount of prep work before applying the tape. As instructed, I lightly sanded our plastic lense before cleaning it using a moist cloth, waiting for it to dry before applying the tape to our camera mount, then peeling off the other side and applying. No more camera falling! We can now see our route and the very close-up figure behind our Hyundai.

I recently had the airbag recall replacement performed on my DD's Lexus IS250. The dealer was able to leave some minor damage near the GPS unit on the dash. It really turned out to be in good condition when the dealer had a repairman work on it. I discovered this trim and ordered it prior to the repair. I finally got around to installing it today, and I must say that it covers up the blemishes surrounding the nav/stereo unit well and looks very good (not cheap or cheesy). I took care not to harm the dash because Lexus's are known for having soft dashboards (like the dealer did). With the help of the plastic tool that was provided, this was quite readily pressed in. For the air vents' sharp 90-degree corners, I produced relief cuts. I believe I barely utilized roughly half of the roll on the automobile. The outcome was considerably better than I had anticipated. Above all, my daughter likes it a lot (and she is particular about her car). I provided some prior images for context.
