MYCHANIC Fastback Shop Stool - Rolling Garage Stool - 350 Lb Capacity - 3-Inch Casters - Tool Tray with Socket Organizer - Padded Seat - Powder Coated Steel Frame Review:

This so-called "creeper" device is one that I truly enjoy. With its 3" wheels, it moves easily. With its black finish and neon green wheels, it looks fantastic. The unit/seat itself is larger than the majority of other readily available, widely used, smaller units on the market, and its seat pad is comfy. With a cupholder for my drink and even socket holders, the tray at the bottom is extremely good. Excellent fit and finish. Putting it together required some work, but not a lot. However, I think it would be better to have a lighter color down there so that it would be easier to see even the darker tools, parts, lug nuts, etc. that you have thrown into the tray, even if I like the muted darker durable plastic-like substance that the lower tray is made out of. Another potential issue is that, for those of us who work outside on sunny days, the sun's rays quickly heat up the dark seat, making it uncomfortable to touch or too hot to handle. I discovered this the first time I used the device a few weeks ago, but I quickly fixed it by putting an old white t-shirt on top of the seat before sitting down. Additionally, despite being black, the tray's subdued off tone still makes many lighter-colored items you may have put inside of it visible.Although the unit feels extremely sturdy and rolls pretty effortlessly, there is always a sense of solidity and ease in remaining in one place. Because of how the metal support bars are curved, I can even store this item easily over the back seat of my car because it fits over the top and sits there (I do not have a garage to store the unit in presently). Anyone who works on automobiles, whether in their garage, on the road, etc., should consider purchasing this item. Very beautiful item, and the added comfort and stability I felt after using it made the price tag worthwhile. I might also try the second car detailing/cleaning device that the same firm sells, which has a bucket and hooks for washing bottles and also looks nice to me. This business carefully considers the design, fit, and finish of its products.

MYCHANIC Sidekick Rolling Mechanic Stool - 500 Lb Capacity Garage Toolbox Stool - Adjustable Height Mechanic Creeper Seat - Large Drawer, 3-Inch Casters and Tool Caddy - Powder Coated Steel Frame Review:

I purchased this tonight. As I attempted to assemble it, I discovered that the nuts only lock about 1/4 of the way they should, leaving the wheels WAYYYYYY too loose to be safe and the seat not quite secure. Attempting to get in touch with the vendor to ask about a solution, but it is also not a simple process. NOT GLAD. Because of my disability, returning this item would be a huge problem.I'm still not completely satisfied with this purchase. On this item, you CANNOT talk with the seller directly, and Amazon was NOT HELPFUL. I detest the fact that Amazon no longer warns you when a product isn't being sold in the USA and instead just connects you with overseas merchants without identifying them. However, the bolts that came with this item are made of cheap steel, so I acquired some different ones. Use them not. The wheels are fixed, however you can change the ones that attach to the seat. My male friend took my wrenches and demonstrated how to tighten and loosen the wheel bolts for me. He also informed me that the wrenches I bought from the hardware shop were designed for autos and were among the toughest you can get. As a result, the product is once again useful, although it required a trip to the hardware shop and an additional $12 in bolts, washers, nuts, etc.

Torin TR6350 Big Red Rolling Pneumatic Creeper Garage/Shop Seat: Padded Adjustable Mechanic Stool, Red Review:

thick, cosy seat cushion. comes mostly put together and is simple to finish. A square tool tray has a larger surface area than a circular tray. good vertical height change range. Even though I am only 10 pounds shy of the "max" weight rating of 240 pounds (ahem), the seat still glides across my garage's completed concrete floor. I still keep the seat in place so that I can use the seat tool tray for tools and supplies when working on DIY projects on my vehicles that call for me to sit directly on the concrete.A fantastic product at an excellent price. Highly suggested.

WEN 73012 300-Pound Capacity Pneumatic Rolling Mechanic Stool Seat Review:

I bought this stool after a move to avoid hurting my knees when running ethernet cable along baseboards. The stool proved to be very helpful for almost all tasks that typically required getting down on the floor, including installing organizers and shelf paper in baseboard cabinets, removing floor wax from baseboards and corners, trimming carpet padding under oriental carpets, and vacuuming under beds and low furniture. When I realized that the stool was ideal for using with my new front-loading washer and dryer to do laundry, I won the convenience jackpot. I use the lowest setting on the stool to sit down to load and unload the clothes because pedestals cannot be used there, even if someone were prepared to pay the exorbitant price for them.I can easily reach little objects, like socks, that have a habit of sticking to the back of the washer and dryer thanks to the stool's low seat. Even better, I can use the stool to use a low pole to put things on hangers when they come out of the dryer or a drying rack to hang clothing to dry. I will never again stand while doing laundry because this has truly made the chore enjoyable and comfortable. The stool is so light that it is easy to take it up and carry from room to room even if it rolls easily over sections where the oriental carpets with pads create a high bump. However, I did discover that if I leaned too far forward on the stool, it had a tendency to try to fall out from beneath me. I used this baibu Super Breathable Round Bar Stool Cover Seat Cushion Black 13" to remedy the issue while also adding more padding to the seat. The metal base also lacks a bumper to guard against damaging my washer and dryer, baseboard molding, or furniture. To address that issue, I utilized this D-Shape Weather Stripping Door Seal Hollow Black (5 Feet).

MaxWorks 80771 80771-350 lb. Capacity Pneumatic Roller Seat/Creeper with Adjustable Height Review:

Long-term durability is not covered in this review because I just acquired it. removed a star due to a number of issues that other reviews had mentioned. Only one off because it seems like a good value for the price. The unit I received deviated from the directions in that it used a taper fit to secure the seat rather than "fastener b," a set screw, to attach the seat. The piston must be appropriately assembled in order to avoid detaching from the base. Piston needs to be seated and is tapered. Set the base on top of two short pieces of 2x4 so that the center hole is not obstructed and the casters are off the ground. Set the piston in the center hole after cleaning off any oil with a rag and some degreaser, paint thinner, etc. Use a hammer and a different short block of wood to gently but firmly tap the piston into the base. Make careful you tap all the way down around the top of the cylinder, not on the central shaft. To carefully raise up the stool by the seat a few inches off the floor, place the seat on top, push down firmly, and give the stool a few short fist-sized whacks. After that, firmly tap the ground again a few times to secure the top to the post. Ordinary caution should always be used because anything can come loose over time. However, once it has been put together properly, it should remain that way for a long time. One star is given again for the complete simplicity and convenience of installation because it just took five minutes to put together.

Dewalt Padded, Rolling Shop/Garage Stool, 360-degree Swivel Seat, Durable Steel Frame, Adjustable Review:

The tiny rise in my back was not to my liking. It forces you to move forward. The wheels bother me as well; they are too small and make the chair difficult to roll when you are seated. Even my 115-pound daughter struggled. I disassembled it, took out the terrible rear, and will replace it with larger, higher-quality wheels. As a result, it is quite durable, a decent size, and yes, I am aware that any warranty is worthless.

Sunex 8514 300-Pound Capacity Telescoping Tractor Seat with Parts Tray and 3.5-Inch Heavy Duty Casters Review:

At our shop, stools typically don't survive very long. The seat bases crack, the seat pads fracture, melt, or simply fall apart, the wheels disintegrate, the cylinders stop cylindering up and down. But not with these infants. They are well constructed. One is almost 8 years old, and we've never had to buy replacement parts for it. (Yes, parts are available for these.) We recently purchased six more since we love them so much. They feel at ease. Many of our welding projects require sitting for eight to twelve hours each day for days on end. Did I mention that we weld a lot? No seat cover has yet burned or melted. almost like a thick rubber vinyl cover, to be honest. Although I won't claim that they are fire or welder resistant, they are near enough to survive in our shop. On concrete with seams, they glide over the surface easily. Overall, the purchase of a mid-range shop stool was completely worthwhile. We no longer waste time trying to mend broken chairs and pile up broken ones in the scrap bins. Very Joyful.

Pro-Lift C-3001 Pneumatic Chair with 300 lbs Capacity – Black / Red Review:

Not an awful mechanic stool for the price. However...I discovered this seat to be of decent quality but a little shaky as a full-time technician. I'm not a big guy (5'8" and 150 pounds) and several times this thing almost came out from under me. Both the highest and lowest settings experienced this. The Torin Big Red stool is significantly more stable than others that coworkers have. See the photographs for a side-by-side comparison of my measurements. Here is a summary of the pros and negatives that I personally have for the pro lift stool.Reasonably priced stool Wheels: Five instead of Torin's four, which is better in my book.Steel tray; no plastic is used here.Cons: This device has an insanely high center of gravity, making it unstable. At ANY height, it's really simple to lose your equilibrium. Watch out for floor cracks as well with this one.Not very substantial seat or cushion. Again, I'm not a huge person, and this one bottoms out. Additionally, its diameter is less than Torin's.After two months of practically daily use, two of the wheels are beginning to sag. Not a big deal, but I'm wondering how long they'll endure because of it.

Traxion 2-700 ProGear Mobile Gear Seat Review:

First. Traxion is a fantastic business. I had the problem that some people have mentioned, where the hydraulic cylinder seems to have failed after only a few hours of light use. Although I am not a little man, I am under the 400 pound weight limit. They called first thing the next morning after I sent them an email late one evening, and a few days later, I received a newly constructed seat bottom with lever and new hydraulic cylinder. The new one has a revised lever and what looks to be a seat base constructed of stronger gauge steel. On mine, the issue was that the lever, which was wedged against the underside of the seat, was being pushed against by the button on top of the hydraulic cylinder. When I stood up, it moved up, but as soon as I placed any weight on it, it fell.Second, it's AMAZING. It has allowed me to use my old round seat craftsman for longer than a few, if not few, minutes in my garage. With a lumbar fusion, nerve root scarring, and damage, my only treatment choice is pain management. I'm only sharing this because I haven't been able to enjoy many things associated with my interest for working on vehicles for the previous seven or more years. This is up there on my list of things I've been able to achieve with different tools, and it's definitely my favorite one. Obviously, it didn't resolve the problem, but it did give me some much-needed time to work in my shop or garage. Once it's cooler, I'll get another for my store.Although it is simple to roll around on concrete and pass through air hoses and extension cords, I find it difficult. I tried that once, but it's much simpler to use my cane or good leg to kick it out of the way. Go figure, it really descends lower than my craftsman with 2" casters. The tray is useful for holding items, but if you plan to utilize the adjustability, make sure it isn't taller than the seat at its lowest level. Otherwise, you risk ruining anything or creating a major mess. I discovered this hardware using a pricey bottle of liquid. I was able to save the most of the tray because I had just cleaned it.If your circumstances are even the slightest bit similar to mine, stop reading the reviews and just get it; unless you intend to put it on mud or an unpacked substrate, I can't see how anyone could be dissatisfied. I have only tested it on quite flat, hard materials like concrete and tile; I have not tried it on gravel. By the way, I also did well inside the house, where I was able to replace a few cabinet hinges that HAD been damaged for a long time. And my seven-year-old likes it.

Rolling Mechanic Seat Rolling Seat Creeper Padded Chair with Tray for Repair Shop Garage Review:

Why the hell have I waited this long to purchase one? After using one for only a few seconds, I realised how much better it would be for my back than spending hours bending or crouching. The only problem is that having four wheels makes it look difficult to change directions quickly; nonetheless, this is not a major problem. The tray under the seat is fantastic! Would suggest, and if it holds up over time, I'd give it a five-star rating.
