Bond strength and chemical and heat resistance are considerably increased when Accelerator is added to Clifton Adhesive. It accelerates the glue bond's drying process and vulcanizes the rubber. STRICTLY REQUIRED IS CAREFUL MEASUREMENT.For 1 oz of glue,.2ml of accelerator is the recommended dosage. A graduated pipette for measuring tiny amounts down to.25 ml is included with the accelerator; using it, I would estimate to.2 ml. A milliliter is roughly equal to 20–25 drops. 4 or 5 drops will make up 2ml.20 droplets make up 1 milliliter of water.4 drops (.2ml) of accelerator for one ounce of glue (30 ml).USE ONLY THE AMOUNT OF ACCELERATOR SPECIFIED. When I worked with the company on several industrial cyanoacrylate glue projects, I discovered this. Water is typically used to harden CA glue. In most climes, the solution is provided by atmospheric water vapor. However, it could take a while for the water vapor to enter and solidify the bond in extremely dry environments or when the adhesive coating can't be as thin. It simply takes a tiny quantity of this substance to work.Simply use as little superglue as possible to cover both surfaces, spray it quickly on one surface, and then quickly press it into place. It doesn't even need to be much mist to reach the surface. Once the components are paired, you might not have enough time to make adjustments because it cures in a matter of seconds (the thinner the glue, the faster it sets.) Ensure that the superglue tube is far from where you're going to spray!Applying adhesive to one piece while spraying the other can also be effective. Additionally, you might use regular glue and spray the edge, although I think this is less dependable.If you use a nice thin film of superglue, it works especially well for model building because you can glue two parts and move on to the next stage in a matter of seconds.Cons: Having a thick layer of glue might cause the glue to bubble, which lowers both strength and look. This is something you shouldn't do, but it does happen. The major drawback is that you had best fix it right away if you mate the parts incorrectly! Keep from slipping until you get it correct.

This is excellent to have on hand for some incredibly quick builds and fixes.However, I suggest utilizing an empty eye drop bottle instead of tiny spray bottles. (LABEL IT AGAIN! This material is bad on the outside and more worse on the inside!" The eye dropper bottle reduces waste and the amount of chemicals emitted into the air. I filled a bottle with the accelerator, dried it off, and then rinsed it with water in the same manner. Pour the accelerator into a flat tray, release the air from the bottle, and then insert the tip into the tray to fill. Repeat this process until the bottle is full.I have three bottles of this: 1) Miniature sprayer 2) Eyedropper container Three) Tiny bottle with a lid. (I use a toothpick or Q-Tip to apply the latter.)fantastic stuff I won't think twice about ordering more if I happen to run out.
