Best Wrist Rests in 2020

VicTsing Keyboard Wrist Rest and Mouse Pad with Wrist Support, Ergonomic Mouse Pad, Durable & Comfortable & Lightweight for Easy Typing, Pain Relief, Memory Foam Keyboard Pad Set for Laptop/Mac, Black Review:

The mousepad is outstanding. It places my wrist just right. I generally don't use a keyboard pad; and I generally dislike the way the keyboards don't angle up enough nowadays, even with the "legs" deployed. The result is that I prop up the keyboard and place the pad about half way down my forearms instead of resting my wrists on the pad. All-in-all, it's a great product.

HyperX Wrist Rest - Cooling Gel - Memory Foam - Anti-Slip - Ergonomic - Keyboard Accessory (HX-WR) Review:

After unboxing this, I literally became excited, pumped, yelling Yew! at my girlfriend, etc. it's that good of a product.

I've been using a Sub Zero gaming keyboard wrist rest at work and at home, transporting it back and forth, I decided to buy a 2nd wrist rest so I didn't have to transport and I'm super happy I chose this Hyper-X. I had a strain in my wrist from hyperactivity and needed a rest - I recommend wrist rests to anyone having wrist pain, and even using a wrist brace while computing, lifting heavy items, playing sports, etc. (they make small ones that don't go over the thumb if you want).

If you're like me, you compare every potential item to and shop to the death trying to ensure you make the right decision. I ordered this one since the brand is known for quality gaming accessories, and I wanted to try something different to compare products. The other Wrist Rest I was comparing was Glorious Gaming, - I happened to just read another review stating that this wrist rest feels better than that one.

The Material is SUPER Soft, silk-like, the gel is cool but not cold. You can easily move your hands around without your wrists getting stuck/caught, it's very streamlined. This wrist rest may be 5% smaller than the SubZero Gaming one I have.

I gave it 4 stars easy to clean because I don't know what that's like yet, there is a little bit of slack in the cloth over the pad, but I think that's so it can sit flush on the gel/foam when it is depressed down - not puling any stitching.

VicTsing Upgraded Keyboard Wrist Rest and Mouse Wrist Rest Pad, Made of Memory Foam, Superfine Fibre and Gel, Easy Typing and Wrist Pain Relief Perfect for Gaming, Computer, Laptop, Office, Black Review:

I really did not think that having something right under my wrist like this, would make a difference, but it really has! I'm telling you, my wrists were really in pain, but then I researched and I had gotten a brace, which I'm going to return because I don't like it, but I have primarily been doing this as my main difference, and it has been completely a 180! I had just started my receptionist job this past September Full time, and it really has kicked my butt as far as typing and I really would recommend this.

It won't make the issue go away completely, but it is what it is.

MROCO Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest Comfortable Mouse Pad with Wrist Support, Pain Relief Mousepad with Non-Slip PU Base Mouse Mat for Home, Office & Travel, 9.4 x 8.1 inches, Black Review:

The quality of this mouse pad greatly exceeded my expectations for the price.
The sticky silicone bottom is maybe my favorite part. It just won’t budge, regardless of how rapid my mouse movements are.
The gel wrist pad is firm, yet comfortable after an hour of getting used to the different wrist angle of using a mouse pad with a thick wrist pad like this one.
I use a Logitech G600 mouse and noticed an improvement in responsiveness with smoother “mouse feel” after switching from an old crummy generic mouse pad.
I highly recommend for work, or at home. I liked the one I initially bought for work so much; I bought a second for my home office too.

VicTsing Mouse Pad, Ergonomic Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest Support, Gaming Mouse Pad with Lycra Cloth, Non-Slip PU Base for Computer, Laptop, Home, Office & Travel, Black Review:

I find the VicTsing Mouse Pad to be exactly what I was looking for. When I decided to replace my previous mousepad that I had used for years, I went through a couple of different highly ranked mousepads here on Amazon. Unfortunately, I had to send them back due to them not interacting with my wireless mouse very well… even slowing it down.

However, I finally got it right when I ordered the VicTsing mouse pad with gel wrist comfort.

Not only did it provide a premium feel and appearance, but it was cost effective and even improved my mouse performance from my original. I’ve had it for about a month and some change now, and couldn’t be happier. I would highly recommend this mouse pad if you’re looking for something that fits into a minimalistic desktop setting, with a functional and comfortable approach. Definitely will consider this brand for any future needs.

Quality Selection Comfortable Wrist Rest Mouse Pad (Black) Review:

Pretty much exactly what I wanted. The new item does have a significant amount of smelly off-gassing, but I've found this to be the case with other mouse pads as well, so I expect this to go away after a short time. The cushion feels good, the surface works well with my mouse. The edges do curl up a little - I expect they might lay flatter after some time, but it probably wouldn't be an issue if the pad was thicker. Overall, a good buy at a good price. (Added later....) One other thing about this mouse pad, which is true of most others, is that as you move away from the pad at the bottom, the top flares out. That may be fine for use on a desktop, but I use a keyboard tray and it doesn't fit neatly next to the keyboard. I ended up cutting the sides down to be straight so that it would fit.

Gimars Enlarge Superfine Fibre Soft Gel Memory Foam Set Ergonomic Mouse Pad Wrist Support and Keyboard Wrist Rest for Computer, Laptop, Mac, Gaming and Office, Durable, Comfortable and Pain Relief Review:

I work from home so I'm on this Mac 40hrs a week. After getting some pain in my left wrist, I started looking for keyboard wrist rest since we all know how "well designed" these Apple keyboards are.

The pads are affordable and get the job done. Since then my wrist pain seemed to have stopped. It comes with 10 pieces non-slipping rubber sticker that you can apply on the bottom. Depending on the desk you have, the wrist rest may not stay in place well. My desk (Bought from that well known Swedish furniture store) has a very smooth surface and the wrist rest does slide around quite easily. To counter that I added 4 pieces of the included 3M rubber sticker on the bottom to make it a bit more stationary.

The cushion is about one inch in thickness. Some complained that it's not tall enough, I think it's just perfect.

One small complain I have is how easy it gets stained. I included a picture showing about 3 weeks of daily use (8hrs/day). I did not spill any liquid or use it while my wrists are wet (I also don't sweat around my wrist lol I know some people do). The stain isn't easy to wash off either because of the material, but I'm not bothered by it. Perhaps the black is making it a lot more obvious. I know this brand has different colors, so if this is a concern to you, you may want to get a different color.

Overall, for the price, I will definitely recommend.

Gimars Upgrade Enlarge Gel Memory Foam Set Keyboard Wrist Pillow Rest Pad and Mouse Wrist Cushion Support for Office, Computer, Laptop, Mac - Durable, Comfortable and Pain Relief Review:

I needed a new set of wrist pads for my keyboard and mouse at work and stumbled upon this set. When I first received the product I noticed the packaging was pretty shoddy. The set was wrapped in plastic then taped over and over again at the ends (see provided picture). At that point I thought I was getting a dud of a product. However, after using the product for a few weeks I can honestly say that is not the case.

The keyboard and mouse wrist pads are very firm. The top of the wrist pads fabric is very soft but if you are a person with hot hands expect to have some extra warmth on your wrists, because the fabric traps heat very well. On another note, the product claims it's memory foam, and since I haven't dissected the pads I can't confirm that to be the case. The good news is that unlike memory foam the foam hasn't conformed to my wrists. All of the foam has returned back to place after time. This is good because the height of the pads is perfectly aligned with the height of my keyboard. I have no wrist issues whatsoever with this product. When I push on the pads it feels as if there is a very firm gel at the bottom of the pad to about a quarter of an inch high then is the memory foam substance.

On the opposite side of the pads is the rubber that looks like neoprene. I have a very glossy desk and I find that these pads do not move at all. This is a huge plus because I've had issues of pads sliding around when I move to type or move the mouse constantly. The result is that my wrists do not hurt at all from the motion.

The only real con I have found so far is that the material collects dust very well, so keep a lint roller handy.

PROS:

■ Soft material
■ Memory foam feel
■ Foam returns to original placement
■ Extra grippy bottoms
■ Excellent height for the keyboard and mouse
■ No wrist pain or fatigue

CONS:

■ Dust collector (have lint roller handy)
■ Shoddy packaging
■ Traps heat well
