I'm so happy, I'll just comb my hair with a fork now!FYI Material, fin size, and blanket tightness vary by color: I purchased the "gig red" because on the thick knit and gorgeous huge fun after perusing helpful customer photographs (sharing it on by uploading my own). I erred; red was uncomfortable and too tight. I'm not a huge girl by any means, but I felt like there wasn't enough space in the blanket for me to stroll or lie down comfortably (to the fridge). I must say that I instantly fell in love with each hue, leading me to purchase 4 of them: red, scale purple, blue/purple, and blue. The others are gifts I have yet to deliver, but I've kept the purple scale for myself (and try too when they open it). Beautiful vivid pink and purple fabric and soft scales make up the purple scale with tassels. I was concerned that I would receive a flimsy blanket, but both the "gig red" and "purple tassle" were substantial and thick. The red blanket's knit has heavier weight, but the "sizing" was uncomfortable and constricted. The crimson fin wasn't as attractive or shaped like I anticipated. Given the sizing problem, I made the decision to send it back. Big fins up and running!Although the scale purple tassle fin is made of a lesser weight material, it is still soft and knitted, not at all thin. This one has enough room for me to feel covered while still being comfortable to stroll and lounge in. Although I haven't tried, at 5'7-5'8 I can definitely reach from my toes to my chin or mid-face. The bottom of the blanket is open so you can pull your feet through if you need to get up, and the back of the blanket has slots so any body form can fit. There are a few small pieces of lint on the floor here and there, but nothing that a decent wash can't take care of. The fin form and scale texture are stunningly mermaid-like. I can't wait to give these colorful blankets as gifts because I adore them.In my experience, Laghcat provides excellent customer service, is more affordable than other vendors, and is quick to respond to inquiries. The necklace with the mermaid charms is a lovely touch.Will provide an update on fin size and fabric quality for blue, purple, and blue. Pros: very plush and cozy.My feet won't freeze at night from slipping out from under the blankets thanks to a unique foot part.When lying down, having your arms free yet being covered is pleasant.Cons: This blanket is mostly worthless to me until I'm lying down because the arms don't stay covered if I'm sitting up. There is no fastening and no support for it. Sadly, this won't replace my robe and slippers socks because it just glides down and there is nothing I can do about it.It seems absurd. As you can see in the picture, the feet portion ends just below my knees. It looks stupid, but I guess that's good because it's not uncomfortable at my crotch.It isn't as wide as a blanket ought to be and doesn't completely round my body. It is perhaps only as wide as the top of one twin-sized mattress, not including the length of the blankets that drop down on either side. Not that. Since I lie on my side while I sleep, my back is not covered. Although it somewhat resembles a medical gown, at least they can be kept on! I must thus use a different blanket.It has a pocket in an unfavorable location. right around the crotch. I'm perplexed by this.In general, I enjoy it since it is cozy and keeps my feet warm.
