Maxx Air HVWM 18 UPS Wall Mount Fan, Commercial Grade for Patio, Garage, Shop | 18 Inches Review:

I mounted this piece of equipment to the wall of a bedroom in an old farm house that I own.It keeps the air flowing through this tiny residence around-the-clock. It arrived in superb functioning shape and was just what I had anticipated. The bracket has three mounting holes, allowing for the installation of multiple bolts or screws to provide stability. The device is the same size as a floor fan made of plastic, but it produces twice as much air. Some people might not appreciate how loud it is, but I find that fan noise helps me sleep better. With me, the louder is preferable so long as it is steady. I also prefer for the air flow to resemble that of a beach. When the time comes, I'll be able to tell if it can withstand the 24/7 pressure of operating because the price I paid for it was reasonable compared to other metal fans. If/when this post becomes too long, I will update it.By the way, I also use a fan to distribute heat throughout the house. This winter, I might lower it to the medium level.

Tornado - 18 Inch High Velocity Industrial Wall Fan - 3 Speed - for Industrial, Commercial, Residential, and Shop Use - ETL Safety Listed - 5 Years Warranty Review:

I bought two of them for my horse barn; they are decent but not outstanding. Although they appear to be of good quality and are well constructed, the fans could be better. The airflow is not as good as anticipated, to start. They pushed a lot more air than the two non-sealed motor fans I was replacing. In the interest of safety, I will accept this compromise. With the exception of the bracket wing bolts not being self-retaining, installation went almost without a hitch. The bolt assembly was immediately released from the holder when the wing nuts were removed. This was quickly fixed with a retaining clip washer, but it really ought to be that way right out of the box. It just took a few pennies, but each fan took around 15 minutes to complete. Once this was finished, it was simple to install the bracket and then the fan. And finally, the pull chain is far too short. Please make sure to order extra chain or pull sting.

Hurricane 736520 Fan, Classic Clip 6 Inch Review:

These are a few advantages of this fan:It has two speeds and is UL listed, so it won't burn down your house (slider switch on back of fan)- calm and well-balanced (this is important when using the clip)the cord is flexible (not grounded plug) and of high quality; the adjustment screw/clamp is sturdy and doesn't slip or need to be over-tightened. the quality of the plastic is VERY good; flexible and resists impact damage. the motor quality is very good. I'm betting you could leave this thing running continuously for well over 5-8yrs and never have a problem. It serves its purpose and is long-lasting. Enjoy your life and set it and forget it.

Suncourt Thru Wall Fan Hardwired Variable Speed Review:

I purchased three of these Thru-Wall fans for our lakeside cabin. Although the cottage has electric baseboard heaters throughout and a fireplace in the living room, there is no central air conditioning system, so there is no means to move air between the rooms.I connected these fans to Z-Wave light switches so that I could control them from my home automation app and Ion security system. The fans automatically turn on and circulate the air in the cabin at predetermined intervals.Although I did run into a difficulty on a wall where the fan shroud was just a few millimeters too short, installation was reasonably simple. The wall was 2x6, but it had pine paneling and drywall on it, making it slightly thicker than what the fan housing would have tolerated. The basic line is that you'll be fine as long as your wall is 2x4 or 2x6 with only one sheet of drywall on each side; anything thicker may not seal properly. The cutout and template were the other problem I encountered. Although the cutout template they include in the box is functional, the speed control is positioned quite close to the end of the cutout you must make in the drywall. The other holes are all good, however the screw and drywall anchor may or may not stay in the lower right hole. After the first one, I realized that I should cut the template extremely carefully and avoid cutting past the bottom lower-right corner. The fan performs admirably in terms of performance, moving air effectively and audibly from one room to another. When the fan is operating at lesser speeds, you hardly notice it; when it is running at high speeds, however, you can still fall asleep with the fan on.As previously indicated, I bought three (3) fans, and one of them did sound louder than the other two while still being reasonably quiet.I'm generally pleased with these through-the-wall fans. They help to balance out the flow of heat in the winter and cool air in the summer by effectively moving air between the rooms in our cabin.I would buy these fans again and suggest them to everyone. Also from Amazon.com, I bought a Tjernlund AireShare transfer fan (US Site). Although it is much more expensive, it is unquestionably better made and quieter than the Suncourt model. If money is no object or you want the quietest transfer fan, choose the Tjernlund; otherwise, utilize the Suncourt if you're on a budget.

Lasko M12900 Oscillating 12 inch Wall Mount Fan for Indoor Use, Light Grey Review:

I bought two of them for bedrooms with tucked-away beds that don't get much use out of ceiling fans. These wall fans are ideal for obtaining access to these nooks. The fans are extremely silent and can oscillate upon request. They significantly impact the occupant's sense of comfort.

Lorell LLR49256 Wall Mount Fan Review:

I was a little hesitant to buy this wall-mount 16" fan because it was the cheapest one I could find because there were no reviews, but I couldn't be happier. The fan seems reliable and spins straight. Although the fan is almost entirely constructed of plastic parts, as is customary for fans of this type, it operates quite quietly and steadily without any squeaking, moaning, or wobbling. If you need to mount the fan overhead, it is simple to install, tilts securely and smoothly, and includes convenient pull switches to regulate the fan's speed and oscillation. I've only had it installed for one day so far, but if you're looking for a wall-mount model, it's a no-brainer thus far.Revision as of May 9, 2015: This fan has been running continuously for about three years, and it still performs well. I use house fans occasionally, but none of them have lasted anything close to that long. Really pleased with the fan's quality.

Tornado 16 Inch Digital Wall Mount Fan - Remote Control Included - 3 Speed Settings - 3 Oscillating Settings - 65 Inches Power Cord - ETL Safety Listed Review:

Tornado 16" Digital Wall Mount Fan with Remote Control, 3 Speed Settings, and 3 Oscillating Settings, Approved by ETLTo start with, I'm thrilled with the purchase. 5 stars, without a doubt!Simple assembly due to obvious part connections. In within 5 minutes, I was able to put everything together. The instructions are simple to understand.Size is acceptable for a typical bedroom. Materials have strength.Low airflow creates just the right amount of breeze. This beast creates a tornado-like airflow when set to high! When I first tried the three modes, they confused me. When I go to nature mode, the power changes so that I can feel the breeze naturally. The power fluctuates less frequently in sleep mode, which helps me fall asleep. without pressing a button, I enjoyed the dynamic airflow. The remote control is fairly intuitive and useful when I need it. At a distance of 15 feet, I can easily and remotely control this fan.Anyone in need of wall fans this summer should consider buying this, in my opinion.

Tornado High Velocity 3 Speed-7680 CFM-Air Circulator Movement Heavy Duty Metal Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Greenhouse Use-ETL Listed 5 Year Warranty, 24 Inch Floor Drum Fan Review:

****Updated in February 2019******Tornado contacted me and expressed a desire to make things right. Another fan was sent to my company by them. Although I haven't yet received the fan, their generosity has allowed me to once again trust their business. When the second fan is delivered, I'll update this review.———————The initial reviewFan arrived scuffed and dented. If you turned on the appliance, the fan blade would either bind or rub against the internal frame due to the severe dents. Even though I contacted the vendor the same day, I haven't heard back from them in more than a month. The fan is now functional after my repair. Despite its promises of high velocity, this fan does not produce more CFMs than a comparable 24" fan from Home Depot. It is good that the fan is lightweight and that installation is simple. Although the goods comes with a nice warranty, if the manufacturer is not available, the warranty may be useless. I would not repurchase this fan.

Air King 9012 Commercial Grade Oscillating Wall Mount Fan, 12-Inch Review:

The Air King 9018 wall-mounted oscillating fan is what I got for my garage, which doubles as my gym and workshop. It came in a few days as usual when I ordered it through Amazon Prime. The Air King 9018 has some power because it is 18 inches tall and I can feel it more than a foot away from my metal floor fan. From 15 feet away from the Air Kind 9018, I felt more air than with my other. I was concerned that a plastic fan wouldn't be as strong, but it is, considering its size, rather strong. It may not be appropriate for a warehouse, but it works well in a room in your house. This is wall-mounted, so to switch it on, off, or on high, medium, or low, you pull down a cord. It moves a lot of air at each speed, more than my present metal fan does. Its oscillating feature, which can be either locked in position or moves around the room, is nice and functions as intended. One problem is that you can't reach the oscillating lock on top if it's placed high enough to require the pull-down rope, which I believe is a design error because they should have taken it into consideration. The top of the fan cage is about 9 feet high because my Air King 9018 is installed near to the ceiling, and I can just about reach the oscillating lock atop the motor housing. I routinely change the oscillation by stooping to reach it because I use it while moving around my garage and lock it when on the treadmill. It says it uses 114, 85, and 63 Watts (High, Medium, and Low) of electricity, so I put it into my Kill-A-Watt energy meter to see how much power it actually used. The wattage was just under the specified values. This device packs a punch and is wonderful on the high setting on a hot day utilizing the treadmill or just lounging around the garage, even if it is expensive compared to energy star fans. Additionally, I would advise adding a timer of some kind right before the plug because you don't want to forget and keep it on for a day or longer. If necessary, I would have to turn mine back on because I have a Z-wave plug that turns it off after 4 hours, but that's preferable to waste electricity.Overall, it's an excellent fan with the minor design problem that if mounted high, the oscillating lock on top makes it difficult to access. I gave it five stars since it satisfies my needs, even though most people would mount them at a lower height, perhaps shoulder height. As I've seen some commercials for other wall fans that were positioned about 5 to 6 feet off the ground, it might be intended for mid-wall mounting.

Simple Deluxe 16 Inch Adjustable Tilt, Household Wall Mount Fans Oscillating Quiet for Home, Shop and Office, 90 Degree, 3 Speed Settings, ETL Certified, 1 Pack, White Review:

This fan was bought for my apartment's bedroom. The absence of ceiling fan wiring in the space. neither bracing nor. THE RIGHT ANSWER WAS THIS FAN! In addition to providing me with the ideal airflow angle, this model was silent and offered features that the majority of fans don't have. A remote is a wonderful convenience. The fan was easy to mount. (Little word play, hehe) Sincerely, it took only 15 minutes to assemble and hang. The bundle contains everything you require. I noticed the replacement or extended warranty was incredibly cheap when I bought the fan. This business was very helpful, and I will use them as my first choice in the future for purchases. Their customer service is excellent, and their delivery time was pleasantly quick.
