I went to the driving range after receiving my clubs today to get a feel for them. To replace the inexpensive beginner set my mentor gave me, I purchased this set (he told me to get a better set once I more consistent with my swings).The golf clubs appear extremely beautiful, at least initially. Although they are not overly dazzling, the colors of the bag and clubs are immediately noticeable.I was pleasantly surprised by how light the 7 is when I first held it. The grip is quite secure and doesn't budge while I swing. I enjoy how the grip's logo acts as a point of reference for me as I square my club head and set the club.Testing: I checked my P, 9, 7, 5h, 3, and driver at the driving range.Although I wouldn't claim the clubs really enhanced my game, allow me to share what I noticed.When I attempted to chip and pitch, P and 9 felt comfortable. I had the impression that I could control it.The loft was good and consistent when I utilized my 7 (I struggled with these in my old set).I quickly picked the 5h as my favorite. Although it has large distance, I can use it like an iron. I twice exceeded 100, but it takes some getting accustomed to — I also made poor shots.With my old set, I typically hit with a 3 wood, but I traveled 150 yards further and had better loft with the Strata. Even though I wasn't expecting it, hitting the ball made such a pleasant sound.The driver is fantastic. I was unsure of what to anticipate with the Strata because I've always had trouble with the driver in my old set. I hit 150 today for the first time (I couldn't tell how far, but the ball went above 150). And I'm pleased to report that the ball got a solid loft and traveled straight.My old set caused carpal tunnel syndrome, which is a health risk. I initially believed that was just my grasp, but I later learned it's very typical. When I hit fat shots with my old set, I noticed that pain would resonate through my arms, and I knew that this made things worse. With the Strata, this did not take place.I made fat shots and felt a little in my hands, but that was it. I experienced no pain at all. According to what I've been told, the graphite shaft absorbed the impact, which is excellent for a player who is still learning the game. I unwrapped the rest of my clubs just as a result of this and am certain that I will keep them.Con: I took away a star because I saw that the club heads frequently sustain injuries. After using the clubs a few times, I became aware of the scratches. I wonder how long the set will survive because of it.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and would unquestionably suggest this bundle.

Knowing that this is a beginner set and comparing it to comparable products—rather than higher end club sets—led me to award it five stars.This bundle offers excellent value for the money. Nearly twenty years ago, I played a few games (play is a harsh term), and my clubs were worn out at the time. Recently, I had to spend some time on the course due to a work shift (pity me), so I wanted new clubs that wouldn't break the budget. Before choosing this set, I read a ton of reviews, spoke with a ton of golfers, and watched a ton of video reviews. Can't be beaten. I won't be upgrading for some time.My only complaint is the putter, but I can't blame the set for that since I still use my old one and prefer an earlier model. It's only a matter of preference.Now, the only person I can blame for the poor shot is myself.

I have to admit that I am a true beginner when it comes to golf. For the first six months of my "career," I used my friend's 30-year-old clubs before deciding to buy a new set after my golf instructor noticed that the old clubs were about 1" shorter than the current standard, they were blade-shaped, and they didn't offer much forgiveness.Due to my preferences I developed for certain clubs, the design of the club bag, the combination of clubs, and price, I reduced my option to two sets: Wilson Profile SGI and Precise 14-pieces set.Since I actually purchased and used both sets, let me start with the pros and cons before providing a brief comparison.Pros include a fancy bag with many of pockets, an increased impact area on the club face, really comfortable grips, solid club combinations (a driver, a 5-wood, a 5-HY, 5 to 9 irons, a PW, a SW, and a putter), and irons that are built to be forgiving for beginners like myself.Cons: The driver shaft is about 1-1/2" shorter than I would like (I'm 5'11" with long arms, so the driver requires me to slightly bend my knee with the proper posture), the 5-HY uses a steel shaft rather than a graphite shaft, the bag handles are shoddy but the straps are good, and the bag only has 4 compartments for organizing the clubs, making it difficult for the golfer to properly organize their current set of clubs. It goes without saying that the bag can be used for A rain cover is not included with the bag.In respect to the Precise 14-piece set:Brand name, better (stronger) straps, extra SW, better grips, and better irons are all advantages. Additionally, the driver's loft is 10.5 instead of 12.The driver's shaft is 1-1/2" shorter but almost the same length as my 15-year-old Taylormade driver, which is a drawback (see the second photo). While the alternative employs a graphite shaft, the hybrid shaft is made of steel. Overall, the 5-HY is shorter than the 21-degree HY of the equivalent (see the first photo). comes with a 5-wood whilst the alternative just includes a 3-wood. Unlike the Deep Red bag from the upper layer, this bag does not include a rain cover. Depending on the pricing of the day, an additional $49 to $78 will be charged.I only wanted to keep one set, so I'm returning this one since I really like a longer shaft driver, a hybrid with a graphite shaft, a 3-wood rather than a 5-wood, and a bag that is easier to arrange.However, this set would be useful to you if you don't mind all the drawbacks I mentioned above. I'll probably need to spend a another $90 or more to replace the grips on the Precise 14-piece set that I'm keeping, plus $50 to get a SW. The total price will exceed this set.Regardless, both sets are durable enough to last through a 9-hole game. The club heads revealed minimal to no wear after each game after cleaning the clubs.

One of the greatest starter club kits for people just getting started in this wonderful sport of golf. Good quality item with everything a beginner would need to use the driving range and throw some balls. You can gradually begin substituting the more expert and sophisticated clubs once you have honed your swings with these clubs.Although the driver in this kit is terrible, beginners shouldn't focus too much on it.

I am SO EXCITED about these even though we haven't seen them in action yet! Due to his passion of golf, we intend to give our 3-year-old a set for his birthday. He's gone through numerous sets of the subpar plastic ones that are simply not durable. When we opened these, I was quite happy to see how durable they appeared to be (made of titanium/stainless steel)! The driver cover is very cute, and the bag is the ideal size for him to carry. We can't wait for him to use his new clubs!

These clubs are respectable. Being new to the game, I purchased them. I used these for a time (probably a year, playing 2X a month). Since then, I've learned that you can purchase brand-name used clubs for a reasonable price. These Callaways are in fact fakes. The bag is of high quality, and I still use it even though I've switched from using Strata Clubs to custom-fitted clubs. Do yourself a favor and get fitted if you're new to the game and tall. These clubs are good overall. I've tried other, more costly drivers, but I still prefer this one. It merits an additional star.
If you're just starting out, you might not need a 4 iron. A 4 iron can be difficult to hit, and isn't always necessary. If you're struggling with your irons, or if you don't feel confident with a 4 iron, it might be best to leave it out of your bag. Once you've improved your iron play, you can always add a 4 iron back in.
