It's a fantastic clock, and in my area at night it syncs up to 60 Khz WWV radio absolutely perfectly. Although the figures are a little higher than I anticipated, that's fantastic. We had no trouble reading it across a sizable den. Initially, I was worried that the LCD display wouldn't be able to be seen in a dark room, however it works just fine in low light.I'm a retired electrical engineer, and because I didn't carefully study the dsetup instructions, I was unable to manually change the day of the week and the numerical date. Although it was clear that the default year was not 2018, I was unable to change it because it is not displayed until setup is complete. I sent a customer service email to ask how to fix what I believed to be an issue. Customer Service replied to my email within a few hours with links that detailed exactly what to do.Rereading the directions, I discovered that they were consistent with the links. It turned out that I hadn't correctly followed the instructions. I chose to wait until the following morning to correctly follow the instructions because everything was right except for the day of the week. Because I had done a lot of button-punching before giving up and emailing customer service, I did check that the Radio sync was set to on because I wasn't sure whether the default "sync on" was still in place.The date and weekday had successfully reset the following morning. The radio signal, which is stronger at night, had been synchronized.My recommendation is to study and adhere to all instructions so that the clock will set precisely.

Due to the fact that I just received my order by mail 10 minutes ago, I am unsure about the battery life.Packaging is awful.When my order arrived, the packaging had a dent and had been slightly opened. Not a big concern, but when I opened it, the clock had a giant crack running down the middle, and I had a what the f*** reaction. I sent it back and requested a replacement.The substitution worked well.Imagine that I had my parcel totally opened a few minutes ago. What? The clock worked just fine.Due to the packaging's negative one, I only awarded it four stars.In summary, packing has to be improved.

After a few weeks, things appear to be going smoothly. The main concern with modern battery-operated wall clocks is typically how heavy the hands are, whether or not they are counterbalanced, and of course the design: can you read the time easily? This clock seems to be in perfect working order. ( I object to analog clock faces and hands with no number, Roman numerals, and terrible design. This has an extremely attractive face and hands. The tick markings and the sweep second hand pointer are visible enough to read.The hydrometer is quite useful, and I enjoy the thermometer. The tiny numbers and emphasis on the really cold end of the range are my only complaint about the thermometer. What is the purpose of reducing the scale if this isn't an outdoor clock? I can roughly estimate the temperature even though I can't read it from across the room. Is anyone using this clock when the midpoint temperature is 50°f (10 C)?a benefit I have a few tiny digital thermometers, hydrometers, and 24 high/low temperature clocks. The display is nearly impossible to read. The other is more traditional, whereas the first is meant to be backlit by ambient illumination. Both are challenging to read. Because it is simpler to read, even with the small temperature figures, this clock is considerably more practical.

A few sentences about me I consider myself to be a perfectionist. But I like to strike a balance between my likable flaw and reality. Please don't misunderstand me. I completely anticipate getting what I pay for, but I also make an effort to compare what I got to what I spent. So with that said, let's get to the review. I adore the Hippih clock movement, and I have never been dissatisfied with any of my Hippih purchases. Though not entirely silent, it is "Tickless." It is much less audible to me than a quartz movement's tick. I can hear a slight "Hum" if I sit next to the clock in a completely silent room or if I'm in my RV and seated next to the wall clock. Despite being of ordinary quality (thus the price), the materials do look good. One clock on the most recent 10" set I had was incompletely constructed. The clock movement was not secured in place all the way. I was able to finish the assembly and secure the mechanism without further harmed the clock because it wasn't broken. However, this shouldn't have been required. Additionally, both clocks had slight "Scuffs" on the outer surface of the plastic face shields, despite the fact that they came in well-designed packaging. These "Scuffs" must have started during manufacture and had existed before the clocks were packaged and shipped, in my opinion. the problem (pun intended). These "Scuffs" will, like the hands, leave a thin, light-grey shadow on the clock's white face when light is shining on it from particular angles, which I can see. 95 percent of the time, there is no issue. Most people—99%—probably won't pay attention. But if you choose to install the clock where it will be illuminated by various light sources, you can also run into this issue. My three Hippih clocks have never had any issues keeping accurate time or working properly. I have no issues with Eneloop 2000mAh rechargeable batteries. I deducted a rating because, despite the goods being "Brand New, Out of the Box," I ALWAYS discover some flaw(s) that somewhat reduce my satisfaction with the purchase (grumble, grumble). Aside from that, I'm a little disappointed that "Amazon.com's Community Guidelines" prevent me from expressing it in this review. Rats! 🤘

Excellent for the purpose I had in mind. A simple, large, inexpensive clock for the bathroom. Works perfectly and carries out its intended function. Also, nice huge numbers are visible through the steam. The fact that it is absolutely silent is great, though. I bought this one since I used to have one that "ticked" all night long and drove me crazy!For the other bathroom, I purchased another one. I'm once more wholly satisfied. Given that I returned and purchased a second one for myself several months after the first one, I would undoubtedly recommend it to a friend. If you require a large clock, 10 dollars is simply too cheap!

The La Crosse brand gives a lot superior reading capability because of the brightness of the background, even from a distance, according to clocks I've had from both brands in the past. I had to learn this lesson the hard way. This clock's size suits my needs well for placement on the kitchen window sill. Despite the clock having a modest design, the magnitude of the time numerals is considerable. So far, so good, as I said.
