This is a fantastic product, as many others have said previously. Before using this product, I was worried about two things: first, if there would be enough to completely cover my truck bed, and second, whether it would look decent once I was finished. Both questions received a loud "yes."First, let's talk about the coverage. I used this on a Chevy Silverado short bed, skipping the tailgate as it already had a functioning plastic cover piece, and I anticipated that the four 750 ml bottles would be sufficient. In reality, for my application, I only needed roughly 3 bottles for the two good layers I used, so I could have used even heavier coats for the short bed.I used the provided spray pistol to apply the product, which has a certain appearance. It performed a fantastic job. It generated a really excellent textured surface that was very comparable to the professionally placed bed liners I had done to two previous pickups. I had no trouble getting an even application (no thin or thick portions).I'll share a few application tips, building on those already provided by others (thank you!). Before I sprayed, I first choreographed my movements (mentally and physically) for several days to get a good feel for how I wanted to apply the coating. This included figuring out how to hold the spray gun and air hose to avoid tangles and obstructions, how to start by spraying in the corners, seams, and over the tire wells to get a good coverage but avoid over-applying in those tricky areas, and how to determine how I wanted to spray the horizontal surfaces before When I actually began spraying (I'm not a pro, mind you), this was a huge assistance. I also learned from practice that the air pressure from my pancake compressor would fluctuate by roughly 15 PSI between the beginning and end of a spray pass (with no bottle attached). I discovered that if I put the compressor regulator at roughly 70 PSI, added an in-line regulator I had on hand, and set that to 55 PSI, it would hold my pressure at 55 PSI /- 3 PSI. I wanted a consistent 55 PSI. That, I believe, made my application lot more uniform.So, to sum up, I'm quite happy with this purchase. The preparation takes work, but the outcome is fantastic!

The best item ever. If there's any way I can make it simpler for someone looking to purchase this, it would be to make sure the pistol has a pressure gauge. I used a pressure range of 60 to 80 psi, and the result was flawless. You should move slowly and shoot from a distance of about 18 inches if you want a smooth texture. If you prefer a gritty, rough texture, however, shoot at a distance of 18 inches but move a little bit closer. The bedliner does not adhere as thickly as it should. Additionally, I would have to mention that the bedliner is really strong if anyone were to ask. I coated a red Solo cup and, despite weighing 185 pounds, I could almost stand on it before it began to crunch. Hard stuff. Cover everything else that you don't want the bedliner to touch. On a day of call, I sprayed it. clear as day; no wind. You are using a lot of paint spray. The bedliner covered EVERYTHING I hadn't covered. Additionally, I bought 4 cases (16 bottles) of bedliner but only used 11, which covered the whole outside and inside of the truck. Only 2-3 bottles will be required if you are only making the bed. That only refers to BOTTLES, NOT THE WHOLE CASE. Is it price the money? YES. For my truck, I received quotes of $1000 for a standard matte black paint job and $1200 for a customized bedliner paint job. I spent $400 on it, and I had $100 ($5 bottles) left over. It turned out fantastically. Hope this was useful.

I utilized this to shield my cargo trailer's ramp and floor. Wow, using it was very simple! The little cup for the hardner that came with the package did not pour very well, so just combine as they say to, or at least close. Very simply, put the pistol on, connect the air hose, and you're ready to spray!I bought the six bottle kit because I wasn't sure how much I would need. On my 5' x 10' cargo trailer, I ultimately used less than 4 to cover the floor, about 12" up the sides, the ramp door, and the interior of the side door.What I enjoy:1. Simple to use - for spray-on bedliners, boys (and gals) it doesn't get any simpler than this.2. Everything is provided, including the pistol, hardner, and liquid (you will need an air compressor and hose)The list of things I don't like includes: 1. It's difficult to spray the entire bottle; perhaps the dip tube should be slightly tilted so that it lands in the bottle's corner. I frequently had some leftover in a bottle. I'm not sure whether I was supposed to, but adding it to the following one made no difference.If the need arose again, I would buy this.

I found that using all of the product in a different container yielded the best results. 250 mil. And if you attempt to mix 75 mil of colour in the can, the bottle will overflow. If you mix in a different container, allow some space at the top when you pour the mixture back into the bottle. When you attach it by putting the spray nozzle back into the bottle, it will overflow and make a big mess. You merely need to move quickly before the first batch sets in order to finish spraying it all. The spray gun can then be reused after being cleaned with lacquer thinner.

I applied it to paint the ground, the ramp, and 18 "within the 6x12 cargo trailer's walls. With plenty leftover in each bucket, two kits were the perfect number. I'm quite pleased with the outcome, however I have some advice to assist you steer clear of some of the problems I encountered:1) Discard the foam rollers that are already inside the truck bed coating and buy one or two Dupli-Color TRC104 Truck Bed Coating Replacement Roller Cover - 1 each - 0.25 oz. After using them for 15 to 20 minutes, the foam rollers start to collect rubber fragments and lose their value. I used three foam rollers on my first application and purchased two kits, but I was not pleased with the results. I immediately went to the nearby auto parts store and bought a Dupli Color roller, using it to apply the full second coat—and it was still in excellent shape. Between your first and second coats, you could probably get away with using a single roller if you stored it in a gallon-sized zip-lock bag with a little Xylene.2) Buy a 7 "sturdy metal or plastic paint tray (not a liner). I made use of one from the neighborhood Big Box store that was devoid of drain channels in the center. They are there in every single one I've viewed on Amazon. According to what I've heard, paint simply builds up and gets wasted in the channels. YMMV...3) Purchase a can of Klean-Strip QXY24 1-Quart Xylol Xylene. Use of mineral spirits, acetone, or alcohol is prohibited. This is in accordance with the handbook. While Xylene can also be used to thin the bed liner and is excellent for cleanup, alcohol and acetone can only be used for cleanup. To prevent the pan and roller from tacking up, add a splash of it to them right before you refill it. Add a splash to the can of unused bed liner every other pan refill to prevent it from thickening (every time you open it, some evaporates). I'm referring to a splash, which is a little over a tablespoon. Additionally, to prevent evaporation and moisture absorption between pan fills, keep the bucket's lid on. Additionally, because the rubber bits slowly sink to the bottom of the bucket, swirl the contents of the bucket thoroughly before pouring any out.4) Last but not least, get a 3M Paint Project Respirator, Large Organic Vapor Blocking Respirator. The Xylene fumes are unpleasant.

This kit was ordered, and it was delivered fast and intact. It seemed like the factory had just sealed the box. I purchased the "black" kit, but when I opened the box, I discovered that the bottles were "tintable," which essentially meant that the substance was clear and required the addition of a specific color tint. Given that the package said "black" on the outside, I believe this was a manufacture error. I'm glad that my money was returned to me overall.

Prior to applying primer-surfacer whenever I have exposed metal spots, I prefer to spray some self-etching primer on them. The spray nozzle is another something I enjoy because it produced a lovely fan pattern. It took around 20 minutes to cure after two applications of spray paint and be ready to use. Excellent Product!
