After some thought, I've decided that my prior rating of three stars was too harsh. Although it is a well-made item, I am giving it 4 stars now because of how solid and durable it is.Because I cannot fit a cheesecake pan or any other pan past the silicone handles on my 6 qt Instant Pot, I am unable to give it a perfect five-star rating. Only my silicone egg bites mold is compatible with it.Again, there is no mistake on the part of the seller; just be aware that not all pans will function with a 6qt IP. The 8qt IP might be a better fit for it.

These were, obviously, more of a decorative purchase for my apartment's aqua accents, but they have since proved to be really practical and are now used frequently! I forgot to buy coasters when I moved into a new apartment, but these worked excellent and kept my furniture safe while I looked for coasters. The quality of these silicone mats and trivets astonished me. Anything hot will not touch the protected surface since the size is ideal for any size plate or pan you wish to place on top and there is enough thickness to maintain a proper air flow underneath. However, unless you literally spill something on them, I believe you can just wipe and store. These can be easily washed in the dishwasher. Due to their BPA-free nature, I had originally purchased these with the intention of using them as a possible "lick mat" for my dog. However, after reading some customer reviews, I decided against this after learning that it might be difficult to completely remove all food remnants and that my dog might try to eat the trivet. The cost is inexpensive for use as a trivet or placemat, and a variety of colors are available. I purchased the cool blue, and it adds a great splash of energizing color. The seller was excellent, offering both quick delivery and safe packaging. Highly advised.

It's more than just a rack for a meat trivet. But be sure to thoroughly inspect it when you get yours. I instantly recognized a poor casting because I have three of them. It appeared to be a metal blob. Even if it does occur, I had hoped that QC would catch the issue before it was transmitted. However, Amazon took care of it. They are also very helpful as a heat dissipator beneath stock pots since it disperses the heat. Because the roast is too long, I occasionally use two for a big roast in a pan. If you don't take care of it, it will rust. The factory-applied coating is subpar. Like you would care for new cast iron, I would scrub it thoroughly, apply oil to it, and bake it. Furthermore, you can use it to weigh down bacon ( use two forks one on each side for easy moving) Put pressure on the burgers. If you're daring enough, you can also make it work as a vertical chicken roaster. Get a copper pipe that fits the holes at your local hardware shop that is made entirely of copper. A spare one nearby? Use it to rest a spoon on. Under it, place a plate made of plastic or foam. Any additional drips fall below and the trevet retains heat. All you really need is a fast rinse in hot water, a wipe dry, and a quick wipe off the top to keep everything tidy while you prepare the dishes. Get a second one!

These are great for use as trivets. They can be cleaned with simply soap and water and are lovely and thin while still keeping the direct heat off the table. They are adequate but not outstanding as pot holders. The problem is that you have to act quickly to avoid burning your fingers when using them to remove something heavy from the oven, such a roast or a chicken.
