Best Towing Winch Shackles in 2020

D Rings Shackles 3/4"-2 Pack Bundle with Axle Strap for Winch, Towing 20 tons (41,786 lbs) maximum Break Strength, Heavy Duty Shackle accessories For Jeep Truck Tow Strap Off Road Vehicle Recovery. Review:

This strap and shackles are awesome. I'm in the tree trimming and lawn care biz and sometimes I do tree removals. I'm always nervous when pulling a huge tree over with just my rope tied around the tree and my truck. Today I used this strap with the shackles to pull over about a 50 ft ash tree and these handled it with ease. I am convinced these can handle even bigger jobs. Gonna buy another set to put in my car as well in case I ever have to be towed. Can't beat the price either. I also pulled out a small bush with ease about a week ago but that didn't test my nerves like today's tree did. If you purchase this you won't be disappointed.

Rhino USA D Ring Shackle (2 Pack) 41,850lb Break Strength – 3/4” Shackle with 7/8 Pin for use with Tow Strap, Winch, Off-Road Jeep Truck Vehicle Recovery, Best Offroad Towing Accessories (RED Gloss) Review:

The Gorilla shackles and tow strap exceeded my expectations. I was hesitant at first because I had not heard of this company and there were no Amazon reviews on the products when I ordered them. However, their lifetime warranty was appealing so I figured I would give it a shot.

Before the products arrived, I had already received a welcome email from the company with PDF attachments on the best way to use both products. This small company seems to go above and beyond to making sure their customers are satisfied. Their communication has been excellent throughout this process.

Once the products arrived, the quality spoke for itself. WOW! The tow strap is just plain sexy (if you can say that about a tow strap). It is very well made and is unlike any other tow strap I have seen. The shackles appear to be incredibly durable. I will update this review once I have spent more time putting these products to test on the trails. I also LOVE that they attach their logo and the American Flag to the tow strap.

The company monitored the shipment tracking and sent an email just after the products arrived to confirm my satisfaction. Another example how this company truly goes above and beyond in their customer satisfaction.

The experience you get with a small family business is much more personal than what you get with the larger companies.

Buy with confidence! I can't wait until they start making winches and off road recovery kits. I would be a lifelong customer :)

Rhino USA D-Ring Shackle Isolators (2) with Washers Included (4) - Fits Standard 3/4 Shackles - Protect Your Shackles from Damage & Prevents Rattling - Unlimited! Review:

Sturdy product that snaps securely into place. These isolators do a good job and are reasonably priced. I would have preferred a little more thickness on the washers or maybe include four more so I could double them up. Nevertheless, I think Rhino USA makes some quality products and this is certainly one of them.

Ucreative Synthetic Soft Shackle 7/16 Inch x 20 Inch (35,000lbs Breaking Strength) with Extra Sleeves (Orange, 1-Pack) Review:

The Ucreative soft shackle has performed well for me. It's got the same basic design as most soft, synthetic shackles, so it's easy to use. The biggest vehicle I've used it to recover was an F-250, but it had no problem doing so. I don't anticipate strength being an issue with these. I'm not sure how much the included sleeves help, but they may keep the abrasion down. Also, the bright light green color makes them easy to locate either inside a container like a backpack or when dropped on the ground.

If you offroad at all, you should have a couple of these in your recovery kit!

Smittybilt 2820 Aluminum Winch Shackle (A.W.S.) Universal Fit, 20k lb. Load Rating Review:

It fits perfectly, although it does seem to stick out a little further than I thought, as it really is a large piece. That being said, it's also rock solid.

Unfortunately, the first time I needed to winch somebody after installing the thimble, the person being winched didn't have a good point to attach a d-ring, so I was forced to get creative with a tree saver strap wrapped around a tow bar. Point being... don't throw your hook away. It SHOULD fit your thimble if you need it, and my hook is the first thing I threw back in my recovery pack once I got home.

GearAmerica Mega Duty D Ring Shackles Red (2PK) | 68000 lbs (34 Ton) Tested Strength | 3/4" Shackle + 7/8 Pin + Washers| Securely Connect Tow Strap or Winch Rope to your Jeep for Off-Road 4x4 Recovery Review:

I was looking for some d-rings that were made in America, but couldn't find a single one (ridiculous). This seemed like the next best thing aside from the overpriced Warn epic series. I would gladly pay three times as much for American made products, especially with a lifetime warranty. I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way. Hopefully you take this into serious consideration. I love the design and look of these, though I haven't abused them yet. Package arrived promptly.

LIBERRWAY Shackles 3/4" (2 Pack) D Ring Shackle Rugged Off Road Shackles 28.5 Ton (57,000 lbs) Maximum Break Strength with 7/8'' Pin Heavy Duty D Ring for Jeep Vehicle Recovery, Orange Review:

The shackles work but they came damaged. They had scratches where the powder coating was removed. Strictly cosmetic, but they were supposed to be brand new.
UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offered a new pair of shackles. These too came scratched. The black powder coating was peeled off in one spot- about a half inch in diameter- exposing the protective layer underneath as if the powder coating didn't adhere to the shackle well. Another similar spot was bubbled and flaked off with my fingernail. Important to note is this didn't expose bare metal underneath, so their multi layer coating worked and should prevent rust for now. Unfortunate that both sets were scratched, but the seller did try to make it right and with little effort from me. These are shackles, after the first use they'll probably be scratched anyway so not a big deal

Rocket Straps | (2 ¾" D Ring Shackles (57,000lbs) Break Strength | (2) Shackle Isolators & Washer Kit | ⅞ Pin | Use Our D Rings with Tow Strap, Recovery Rope, Snatch Block, Jeep & Towing Accessories Review:

These are identical to many other shackles being sold on Amazon. I purchased 2 other pairs of shackles from "different" companies, these came packaged exactly the same and are indistinguishable from the other two pairs i purchased.... except for the price. The first pair of shackles i bought was a few years ago and have been used in 12-15 off road recoveries/pulling folks out of the ditch/snow/etc.

EDIT: My purchase was 02-10-19 at $9.99, In only a week they have gone up $4. This doesnt take away from the quality, but Completely eliminated the "best bang for the buck" they originally had. Note: there were no special deals/discounts/coupons for my $9.99 purchase. Now at this price point i wouldnt buy again. There are others offering the same shackles for less.

AUTMATCH Shackles 3/4" D Ring Shackle (2 Pack) 41,887Ib Break Strength with 7/8" Screw Pin and Shackle Isolator & Washers Kit for Tow Strap Winch Off Road Towing Accessory Jeep Vehicle Recovery Red Review:

My traveler recommended buying this brand shackle , because we often travel in jeep , we accidentally found the Autmatch brand shackle to do double protection galvanized + protective layer as they described , before bought a lot shackles has been rusted because there is no galvanized layer , and the shackle is still new , giving the car a cool visual sense. Also the pieces of those products are very competitive . Others do not have a protective cover . This bumpers also do a nice job of noise reduction when the shackles make contact with my steel bumpers . Would not hesitate to purchase again.
Super Quality !
