I received this thing on schedule, and it was in excellent shape. I was aware of this machine's lightweight design and mobility before I even made the purchase. It is not like the large gym equipment. The gym equipment is more expensive, heavy quality, and intended for usage by a variety of people. I don't want to make an unfair comparison between this exercise equipment and gym equipment. The machine is extremely lightweight, to start. I can lift the shipment box upstairs by myself once I receive it. Even though I'm not particularly strong, I can lift this machine upstairs. If I move, I'll most sure bring it with me. Second, assembling this device is simple. I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to put things together by myself. I believe I erred. I finished it in under a half-hour without using any foul language. It went together really quickly and perfectly, fitting in the living room by the window exactly as I had anticipated. The majority of the machine has already been put together by the manufacturer; all that is left to do is screw on the handles, leveling bars, and base. Reading the handbook is not at all difficult. If you're still confused, just look at the pictures and assemble the machine by following the manual's diagram. It's not too huge and feels pretty robust to me now that I've placed it. It doesn't feel in the least bit flimsy, dangerous, or off-balance.This device doesn't require much room. smooth and quiet operation. It combines cardiovascular exercise with weightlifting using only your own body weight. I appreciate that I can exercise several muscles at once, including my legs and arms. After only 10 minutes of utilizing the gadget for exercise, I could already feel the differences. after the first minute, I started sweating. I should emphasize how much I appreciate the handles. I'm able to hold them rather easily while performing the activity. The convenience of having the necessary equipment at home will make it simpler for me to maintain my motivation and health. I admired every aspect of it. I'm hoping I won't get too lethargic to continue exercising at home. I will keep working out. Anyone who is bigger than 200 pounds or taller than 6 feet is not someone I would advise. It wouldn't have adequate sturdiness. I'm pretty content thus far.

This stair stepper was a self-purchase. There is simply no justification for not working out because it is so quiet. It is ideal for home workouts where I can watch TV and listen to music. Additionally, it isn't too big, making storing a breeze. I simply placed it on my couch. I simply set aside some time each day to complete my exercises. The LCD display also keeps track of time, calories, and steps. I don't have to worry about my floor because the box has a skid-resistant rubber. I'll tell my friends about it.

Since I have an 8 to 5 office job and have a sit-stand desk, I got this to keep beneath my desk because I know I'm not moving around enough. It's an extremely well-built machine that feels solid, substantial, and well-balanced. I enjoy how easy it is to use and how it tracks your time spent using it as well as your steps and calories burned. It makes it simple to connect to any tracker or app you may have. I really adore the burn and resistance of it; after only a few minutes of use, you can definitely tell a change. The directions are poorly written, and because I'm still unsure how to change the step height, it is the only thing I have to complain about. It does generate some noise, such as a quiet clicking or swaying motion, which is my second criticism. Overall, I think it's a fantastic machine and am glad I bought it. Anyone looking to include fitness into their workday should consider it, in my opinion.

This stepper is just what I was looking for—a compact device with basic mechanics at an affordable price. It weighs roughly 15 pounds and can easily be moved about because it can fit under my bed for easy storage. It contains a straightforward counter that counts your steps (and has a few other modes, like calories, etc. but nothing too in depth). The only assembly required is to make sure the pulley line is on the wheel underneath the machine, tighten the tension knob to the desired resistance (which is simple to change whenever you want to alter it), and attach the arm resistance bands to the frame. It came preassembled. Here is an FYI about the machine in response to some common queries and complaints I've seen.1. It is a STEPPER, not an elliptical, so you step up and down instead of gliding.2. While utilizing it, you must maintain your own equilibrium (unlike an elliptical). In fact, maintaining your balance while exercising is healthier for your muscle tone and core muscles. However, this machine might not be suitable for you if you have a medical condition that affects your balance.3. You HAVE to utilize it when standing. Because you must place your entire weight on the pedals in order to pump them up and down, this machine cannot be used by someone who is seated in a chair or at a desk.4. The arm resistance bands are an optional accessory that have no bearing on how well the stepper pedals work. They are attached to the machine's frame, and you can change their length. They are straightforward, elastic rubber resistance bands that resemble bungee cords.5. While I've found the step counter to be accurate, I view the other settings (calories, etc.) as guesses. If you require more comprehensive workout tracking, I advise using a personal device (such as a Fitbit) or shopping for a different machine with more bells and whistles at a higher price point.6. The step height (how high or low the pedals travel) cannot be increased past the 8 degrees, and the pedals' slope cannot be changed "or in the range of motion of the machine. Once more, if this is crucial, you should probably consider a higher price range. I personally find that the step height and gradient are ideal for me.7. I use the machine for 20 to 30 minutes, five times a week on average, and I believe it to be durable. If you exercise considerably more frequently than that, you might want to get a pricier, larger machine.8. The instruction booklet states that the machine can handle a maximum weight of 220 lbs.9. The assembly and maintenance instructions in the instruction booklet are written clearly. If the machine starts to squeak, instructions are provided on how to lubricate the parts.10. The equipment is really silent. As you ascend and descend, you can hear air pushing from the cylinders, but it is not audible. I have no issues using the machine while my child is napping. The pedals measure 11 and 1/4 "long from the inside of the toe guard to the pedal edge. Women's size 9 fits me well, and I have lots of room.12. Despite its straightforward construction, this machine gives you a good workout (similar to climbing stairs). You can definitely feel it in your calves, thighs, and glutes. It's definitely cardiovascular exercise. My core muscles get a good workout from keeping my balance, and you can use the arm bands if you like. It all depends on how much work you put in, just like with other activity. For anyone who, like me, wants an inexpensive gadget with a tiny footprint to get some simple exercise at home, I would strongly recommend this stepper. Being a 30-something mother of young children, I don't have time to go to the gym. I'm not an expert in fitness, but my objectives are to increase my cardio and lose a few pounds. You can't beat the price for the amount of exercise you receive from this small stepper, which costs roughly $50.

Although we had no room for a normal stair stepper, we still wanted one. This fixed the issue. It's so simple to move that we can tuck it away in a 20 by 20 inch corner and then pull it out when we need it. Due to its small weight, it could appear a little "tippy," but as soon as you put weight on it, that feeling disappears. It's truly really nicely made and designed. Within a few minutes, you'll be breathing heavily, and you can change the resistance to work harder. Given its diminutive stature, a huge guy might find it uncomfortable. But if you're average-sized and in need of a stepper but lack the space for a large one, this is a fantastically made item at a fair price.

I frequently buy things on Amazon, but I always wait to write reviews until after I've used them for a while (no matter how many email requests I get lol)So in July 2016, I purchased and began use this tiny device. I'll admit that it arrived while my sister was looking after my pets and house while she was away on business, so she put it together for me. She claimed that it was simple.I desired an activity that would be better and more enjoyable than simply moving in place. I wanted to increase my daily steps because I have a very specialized work from home job.The bungee hand things, though, were the first item I removed. They simply got in the way a lot, and I much like hand weights because they are simpler to "feel balanced" with.I will concur with some of the reviews that stated that the tension is considerably stronger when you first start than after you walk on it for a bit. But that hasn't stopped me from increasing my step count from an average of 2K in July to 12K presently in December. I prefer to "exaggerate my walking stance," which means I really engage my hips and waist in the movement. Will you discover superior stairsteppers? Absolutely! Will you discover one for $45.00? extremely unlikelyI would suggest this if you want to spend as little money as possible yet, like me, need something to get you going. This is not for you if you are an athlete seeking for extra home gym equipment. Go spend $4,000 on the genuine article; When I received this in July, I was 56 years old, around 90 pounds overweight, and thanks to a calorie-deficient diet and an increase in physical activity, I lost 20 pounds. I hope to one day be able to purchase a very great elliptical/stepper, but in the meantime, this little baby has been well worth the money (had eye surgery that rendered me inactive for August and September even).Thank you and best of luck.

Because I work at a desk all day and it is already too hot to step outside during my lunch break without access to a shower, which I don't have, I bought this for the office. This is ideal because I can work out for 30 minutes at lunch and still have time to eat. When not in use, it can fit under my desk thanks to its small weight. I'm really happy I bought it. Although I can't really see the readout, I didn't purchase it for that reason, as I have seen. I can get all the information I need regarding my workout from my Fitbit.I recently purchased a second one for my home. The older one I use at work started to squeak, but that was repaired when I acquired some WD40. Along with an elliptical that I also have at home, I continue to utilize this every day both at work and at home. My friends stopped giving me Fitbit challenges because I keep beating them. They don't understand how I keep outperforming them given that I can't run due to an old knee injury, which I informed them of. I suppose I'm not a simple target! Another benefit is that since I received the first one, I have shed 7 pounds.

Update: After 96 days of consistent use, a star has regretfully been removed. Really, I still adore this product, however the digital clock/counter ceased keeping track of time or steps a short while after the manufacturer's warranty ended. I'm unsure if the squeaking of one of the hydraulic pistons, which has already begun once it warms up, will become a problem any time soon. However, I had my reservations about it lasting as long as I had planned, so I had invested in the third party warranty. They performed admirably, making them a highly suggested addition to the buy.— Initial assessmentMy preferred aerobic workout machine is the stepper, but I can be a little particular about them. I wasn't overly optimistic about what I could obtain for roughly $100 because I'm used to gym equipment that costs several thousand dollars. In fact, this stepper is among the most cozy and well-made ones I've ever used. It is a straightforward, cost-effective design that gives you everything you need.It is really stable because it is precisely the proper weight and size. It is stable on a tile floor. It has a very slight sway on a padded berber carpet, but it doesn't feel unsteady at all. You can lift the front foot slightly by leaning very far back. It is not moving forward despite the forward lean.It has excellent ergonomics and is really comfortable for someone my size (about 5' 11" and 180 lbs). I was concerned about the footpads' tilt, but it seems quite natural while I'm using them (fancy steppers keep them level). You can lean into and grip onto the handlebars in a variety of positions, which allows you to alter your posture (and vary the workout intensity a bit). I truly value how the equipment enables for a big stride or step. On far more expensive machines, I've been unable to take lengthy or high steps. I was prone to leaning forward at initially, which caused me to strike the rams with my knees. I stopped knee-bumping and used a better stance on the machine after altering my stepping posture to one that was more upright.Running quietly and smoothly are the hydraulic rams. I think some reviewers misinterpreted the intensity changes: To change the resistance from 1 to 12, simply turn a knob. Although it offers the least resistance, the #1 setting is the HIGHEST level of exercise. With less resistance, gravity and your weight drop the pedal more quickly, which forces you to step up more quickly while also using more of your muscles. Your pace will be slower and easier as the resistance level increases. I'm in decent shape, but I took a year off from aerobics, so I'm not at my best. After 20 minutes, at my weight and a level 10 setting, I am absolutely ready to stop. Even at the highest level of 12, someone who is significantly bigger and is still developing their conditioning might have trouble keeping up with the pace of stepping. However, using hydraulic pistons has the advantage of having a built-in warm-up feature. There is more resistance and you will move more slowly when the fluid is cold. As you use the machine, the pistons warm up (after a while, they actually get rather hot), the resistance decreases, and you step faster and exert more effort. There is a noticeable difference after 20 minutes. I start out at roughly 56–58 full-range steps per minute while maintaining my #10 setting. By the end, I am moving at the same setting at roughly 85 steps per minute. That is a noticeable difference. I'm not sure if it would accelerate further after 30 to 60 minutes; perhaps I've reached the maximum time for viscosity change at 20 minutes. The machine does not have any form of programming capabilities, however as was mentioned, the hydraulics do provide a warm-up "feature". Leaning heavily on the handlebars will significantly reduce the intensity without modifying the settings. By doing it that manner, I can discover a 15% reduction in speed and intensity, allowing me to take a brief break.Surprisingly impressive as well is the digital readout. The moment you begin to move, the clock begins automatically. It remembers where you were if you stop. With a 3-second button press, it resets. Additionally, it tracks calories expended and steps taken (to count steps, lift your left foot almost to the top of the range) (probably not accurate, but anyway discouraging how few calories get burned). The numbers are legible and huge.Since the footprint is already pretty small, I don't bother folding it, although it's simple to accomplish. So now, all I can do is hope that no parts break over its lifespan. There shouldn't be too much that could go wrong; perhaps the hydraulic seals. I did purchase the three-year warranty extension. I'll think it was money well spent if it lasts that long.

It's time to offer this a review as I got it two years ago and am now prepared to upgrade to a new machine. This is a great place to start if you are healing from an injury or are just starting your fitness adventure. All of my nerves and joints are impacted by the cervical spinal compression I have. Because the pain was so intense and I was frequently falling, I had to stop running. As a result, I put on a lot of weight and developed diabetes and high cholesterol. I bought this out of desperation to do something about it. When all the components were spread out on the floor, setup seemed a little frightening at first, but it actually went quickly and was not too difficult. I got a greaser spray after reading the reports about the squeaks and used it religiously over the first several months of breaking it in. Over time, that squeaking DOES stop. At first, I had to stop every 10 minutes to pause and massage my legs to relieve the cramps before continuing. After a few weeks, that subsided, and I was able to go the full 30-45 minutes between breaks. Within a month, people started noticing the improvements in my appearance. My legs quickly became more toned. I dropped 50 pounds, 10 inches off of my waist, and brought my cholesterol and A1C numbers into the "normal" range after a year and a half of weight loss. These outcomes are the consequence of utilizing this machine three to five times a week, maintaining a healthy diet (monitoring carbs and portion sizes), and working a desk job.Sadly, I can no longer get a good enough workout from it. My weight was the resistance, and since I've shed so much of it, I've been stuck out for six months and am just spinning in circles. I'm currently upgrading to an elliptical with all the bells and whistles, which is significantly more expensive. This was my "starting" device, and it was really useful. There is no way I could run 3.5 miles and burn 400 calories in 30 minutes on this machine or any other. The odometer and calorie burn tracker are a joke. The pulse oximeter is likewise inoperative. That is all it does: it acts as a nice timer.Overall, this has excellent construction. Nothing has broken in two years of almost daily use, and it has shown to be incredibly durable. Following each use, I also fold it and store it. Every journey must begin somewhere, and if yours is just getting underway, here is a fantastic place to start.

Good news thus far, The cost was justified. It is small, light, and feels solid when in use. The length of the workout and the speed of the strokes are what will burn calories; resistance settings are not included. If you want to, you'll definitely get your heart rate up. It is fantastic and simple to store because to the folding feature. The major flaw is that the leg section of the unit's up and down strokes are a little harsh. It still seems a touch sticky even after I properly lubricated it with WD40 to make it as smooth as possible. Because of this, I gave it a solid 4 and a half stars instead of 5 stars. When it was delivered, the black plastic shroud that covers the moving parts was cracked, but it's hardly noticeable and not really a reason to send it back. The fixed grips, which are a good addition, allow for upper body relaxing. It works well for rooms with lower than typical ceilings, comfortably accommodates my height and weight (6-5 and 218), and lets me exercise without bashing my head on the low ceilings. The provided tool is essentially useless, and a crescent wrench or socket set is practically required for the otherwise extremely simple assembly. With the supplied wrench, you can put it together, but it's a pain. From the time you begin unpacking it until you can use it, allow at least 20 minutes.
Most people believe that using a stair machine is an excellent way to tone the legs. While stair machines do provide a great workout, they are not the best option for toning the legs. For toning the legs, it is best to use a machine that works the entire lower body, such as a elliptical machine or a rowing machine.
Yes, walking on an incline can help burn belly fat. When you walk on an incline, you are using more of your leg muscles, which in turn helps to burn more calories. Additionally, because you are working against gravity, your heart has to work harder, which also helps to burn more calories.
Stair steppers are a great way to get in shape, but how long does it take to see results? Depending on your fitness level, it could take a couple of weeks to see results. If you're just starting out, don't be discouraged if you don't see results right away. Just keep at it and you'll eventually start to see results.
How long should you use a stepper machine? The answer to this question depends on your fitness goals and how often you work out. If you are using the stepper machine to improve your cardiovascular fitness, then you should use it for at least 20 minutes at a time. If you are using the stepper machine to tone your legs and butt, then you should use it for at least 30 minutes at a time.
It really depends on your fitness goals and how much time you have to dedicate to working out. If you're just starting out, aim for 30 minutes on the stepper, 3-5 days per week. As you become more fit, you can increase the duration and frequency of your workouts.
A mini stepper is a great alternative to a treadmill if you're looking for a workout that is low impact and easy on the joints. The mini stepper provides a challenging cardio workout without the risk of injury that comes with running on a treadmill.
