On every truck I've ever owned, I've mounted these vent visors. That is a sizable number. They are made well and with high-quality materials. They are perfectly secure and remain put. They are big enough to allow you to pull the windows down a bit without letting rain in or to let air flow while the vehicle is sitting outside in the hot sun. I adore this company and this product. I've previously used their items. They are durable and have excellent adherence. However, I feel they may have been a better fit for the Ford Explorer police interceptor to which I put them. I didn't believe they suited the edges of the area you had to apply them to in my application as well as the products I've used from this company and manufactured on my other vehicles. For some reason, this product did not precisely land and meet all of the edges where they should have. However, they continued to function and still look excellent while performing the tasks I need them to. They simply could have been a little more precisely fitted, in my opinion.

There is nothing wrong with the vent shades, and these goods fit me nicely. I gave it a 5 since the vent shades are excellent and I don't think you should lower the quality of an item just because there are problems with the thing it's being put to.My 2013 Ford F350 Lariat comes equipped with all the latest features (not bragging, just stay with me). I had no idea that the windows had sensors so sensitive that they could pick up the vent shades in the channel. It goes without saying that the window automatically closes when it is raised. For the skeptics out there, I have installed vent shades on my cars for a long time and have never experienced this problem. I had no issues with the identical sort of vent shade on a Ford Explorer Sport.Overall, fantastic stuff that I would strongly suggest. Never had issues with cracking or coming loose in the past. Before making a purchase, please check to determine if your car's windows have sensors. I still have them, so if anyone knows how to alter or resolve this issue, just let me know.The window issue has been resolved.1. Install 2. Enter the vehicle, then shut the door3. I tried to push up the full red trim that was over the glue on one of the windows, but the adhesive stuck before I could get it all the way up into the socket. If I had any advice for others, I would advise them to follow the directions carefully and to just remove the corners of the adhesive covers before inserting it into their window sockets. Once it is fully inserted, they should pull the red adhesive covers, and it will come out flawlessly.

I have no idea why.I couldn't comprehend how this product could guarantee a perfect fit for my car yet so many reviewers complained that it didn't. I can honestly see how these wouldn't fit on any 5th Gen 4Runner if mine fit. The glue didn't require heating up. They were still wrapped, so I took them inside to unwrap them and let them warm up. In the hot sun and 60 degree weather, I mounted them to my pickup. To prepare the area, I used rubbing alcohol and a microfiber towel. The tape that you use to attach the visors to your car is not exactly in the right spot, but it is rather pliable. If you're very OCD, you could even move it around, but that's not recommended. I always keep a supply of 3M double-sided tape for indoor and outdoor use.Why three stars? Well, as many reviewers noted, they were delivered damaged. When applying the tape, they might be more carefully wrapped and handled. Or you could just shrink-wrap the whole thing in the same manner that you tried to wrap the ends of each piece.These shouldn't be scratched up, and the tape shouldn't be uneven for the price I spent for them (I paid $42.99). Giving customers a roll of tape to put it on themselves was suggested by another reviewer. If you can't find better personnel to put tape on plastic, let the customer control it, fire your weak staff, and reduce the price.Even more difficult to comprehend is why the caliber of your handiwork is just so low given that they have your insignia stamped in white on the side of them. This might be a really good product. The review might have been lot better.

With one exception, these are absolutely wonderful, as other reviewers have stated. According to the installation instructions, you should slide this between the mirror and the door after pulling back the plastic covering it. It is entirely conceivable, and I did this when I checked the fit, however doing so leaves a space between the door and the mirror that is easily accessible to rain and moisture, which could lead to future issues.As others had suggested, I used my Dremel to carve off the section that was supposed to fit underneath the mirror in order to fix this design fault. You wouldn't know I done it if you were to stand back and observe, and even up close, it appears to be quite nice. I later applied a tiny quantity of 3M tape to secure it to the window seal's rubber gasket. Going to an automatic car wash shouldn't present any problems because this is strong enough.It took some perseverance to adjust the fit, but with a little caution and a rotary tool like a dremel, it's extremely simple to achieve a neat appearance without jeopardizing the seal between the mirror and door. On my 2017 Ram 1500, I installed these by myself in about 20 minutes, and I'm generally satisfied with the results.

I therefore bought this item twice because I am so foolish. Since it was raining when I pulled the first one out of the container, I opted to put off installing it. However, my cat must have also thought this was a great invention because she liked chewing on the plastic. I put the components back into the cardboard box that Amazon had shipped it in to remedy the problem.I hear the garbage truck coming up the street a week later as a result of procrastination. I quickly gather my recyclables while still half sleeping to beat the truck. Behind the couch, I notice a large Amazon package, so I grab it and fold it in half. Hey SNAP!As soon as I had them, I placed another order and installed them. Both fit and look fantastic! Don't try to fold them in half, though; they don't hold up very well when you do.

Sincerely, I could give you a more accurate description if it had rained. I haven't seen how they keep the rain out because Las Vegas doesn't get much rain. It also fails to keep dust out. My LR passenger side cover was missing a strip of adhesive, so I haven't yet installed it (Auto Ventshade, you'll be hearing from me soon), even though I haven't yet notified the manufacturer about it. What I will say is that when the sun is at that high, oppressive angle, they most definitely keep it out. Although I wasn't sure if the front tabs were supposed to go under the mirrors or not, installation was rather simple (tried the youtube videos but none were helpful). They are also worthy of the money you spent on them. The three I installed have been in place for three weeks, during which time I have traveled at highway speeds for more than 25 minutes every day (weekends excluded) without experiencing any problems. I enjoy the protection they provide while I'm on the road, and I hope they last at least five years! When I bought them, the customer service was excellent, and I place a high value on it. When I contact regarding the glue, I hope to receive the same level of customer attention.

These deflectors really impress me! The in-channel ones had never been installed previously. When I got my Silverado, I wanted to try them out because I think they look much nicer.It fits perfectly. Compared to the type that adheres to the outside of the vehicle, installation was much simpler. I finished in 15 minutes tops. You get everything you require. I did make a small error and put the end flange in the incorrect place. When I wanted to roll up the window, it started catching, so I sent an email to their customer support department. They gave a prompt response and detailed the solution.(I added a picture because I know I can't be the only one who did this.) I'm hoping it'll make someone else's life a little bit simpler!As instructed, I kept the windows open for 24 hours, and they are holding without any problems. Even though I had to move the front piece, they are still sturdy.Both the goods and the support deserve five stars! * Update 2018: There are still no issues!I experienced the same problems. The majority of consumers claim that their auto window won't rise. I had three windows that were the problem. It turns out that I didn't install it properly. I was blaming the individual elements, but ultimately it's your fault. Take a moment to examine it. I had to remove them and relocate them a little, and then they immediately operated without any problems. I just turned them on, and the windows are open for the next 24 hours. They'll probably do even greater work after they stay up for that period of time. These were so simple that you were forced to make mistakes. Other than poor installation, I would say that these operate excellently. fantastic stuff For those who are interested, they will work on trailer mirrors. I don't have them, but a friend does, along with a pair of mirrors. Take your time, and you'll have a wonderful experience, is what I would advise. The majority of people, in my opinion, rush jobs, which leads to problems. Would purchase once more if I had two trucks.
