Even though they have a fantastic appearance, these are really challenging to install without any help. But after spending a lot of time and cracking a few knuckles, I thought, "What would Macgyver do?" and came up with a simple install method for them.Cut them first to length. Since the spokes overlap, begin by placing them on the inner spoke. With the crease of the tube pointing away from the direction of the wheel's rotation, open one end and place over the spoke above or toward the tire from where the spokes overlap (this will assist keep out dirt and debris when the wheel is moving). Once the tube is positioned over the spoke, bend it (keeping the crease open) and slide it toward the hub while maintaining the bent position. Other times, moving it from side to side can be beneficial. Make sure the crease is still facing away from the wheel's rotation once it is on.With this technique, the installation time was reduced from 4-5 minutes for each spoke to around 30 seconds for 2 spokes. I hope this is helpful, but in order to properly comprehend it, try doing it the way you would naturally do it first. I would suggest them because they look fantastic when worn.P.S. Don't anticipate more than that; they are simply straws, but they are a good idea and appear to be fairly durable. They look pretty great, and I ordered the blue ones. I'd just like to see my bike's appearance change a little, and it already has.* My Installation Experience * Placing them over spike junctions may be difficult.For bicycles: Be careful not to lay them on top of the rear wheel's plastic gear protection because doing so could prevent the gears from rotating.I would like to see longer sizes and additional colors since I need them for my other bike.

These spokes look much nicer than the rusty, rusted spokes that were cadmium coated steel from the factory on my Harley's 21" front wheel. I measured the fit by trial and error, and when I used digital calipers, I discovered that the spokes' overall length was 8.080" and that these ones were 9.375" out of the box. Use WD40 on the spokes to assist them glide in; start with the interior spokes and use both hands to separate the covered from the uncovered spokes to prevent swelling or flattening. I completed 40 spokes and cleaned the rim in approximately 30 minutes. Significant improvement that makes the bike appear much more aggressive. Worth the cost, but we'll have to wait and see how they hold up after 5,000 miles. Plenty of opportunities to do it right since there were 75 pieces in the box and I only used 40.

I took around 2.5 inches off of each of the 24 centimeter red ones that I received. Put them on a 2009 Yamaha XT250, and you'll be overjoyed! So simple to put on and reasonably priced. My kid purchased a brand that was sliced like a spiral and is very difficult to put on after reading reviews of various brands that complained about how difficult they were to put on. The slit in these is straight.A single wheel takes about 45 minutes. I'M SO HAPPY!!!

The color was not as claimed, and some of the spoke covers were missing. The color let me down the most, followed by the lack of the claimed number of spoke covers. I'm so disappointed about that. I would have selected a complementary color rather than a similar color if I had realized from the advertisement that the color would be so off. The original Yamaha blue color has been extremely closely matched by every aftermarket product purchased for the bike, but this one was a complete disaster. I believe the manufacturer of this product needs to evaluate the product's color profile. Would I advise purchasing this? No and yes. It seems to be an excellent product, but there is a big warning that the colors will be much different from OEM hues. Buyer beware, hence, adage.

I had to spend a couple of hours installing these on my 2019 Yamaha xt250. I was able to lay my nails on the spokes by slipping my nail between the slits thanks to my exceptionally long nails. I'm glad that they are thicker and more tight than I had anticipated.They're inexpensive and significantly improved the appearance of my bike! What I desired exactly. Since I utilised every single one I received and only had 1 spare in case any mistakes were made, be careful not to mess up too many if you have to cut them to fit.
