I adore this dress form so much. Even lovely in person, assembles in 3 minutes or less, is lightweight, and is portable. This is the item you need if you're seeking for something to display. It's not meant for really heavy clothing, but it worked OK when I put a thick gown with a 3 foot train on it. It displays a 4 to 6 to about a 12 precisely, and if the things are larger, you can pin them to fit. This is all I was seeking for and more because I was looking for a good, lightweight form. Prime ship arrived in 4 days. A size 2 might fit, but it wouldn't shut or have a zipper. Nevertheless, you could pin it. You may even use the form off the pole and stand; just lay it on a table for a short top or something similar. The height is adjustable. The pole in the middle prevents you from displaying slacks on it, but I didn't care about that.

I needed a cheap, temporary mannequin to use at home while I renovated my studio/store. She performed better than anticipated. Everyone who has visited my home and seen her has expressed surprise at the cost. Her head moves, and she has a realistic face. She shares the same body size as my more expensive mannequins. While my previous mannequins' arms could be raised and the tops slid on and off, you must remove her arms to change her tops. With this one, the arms will simply fall off if you do that. I don't mind it, though.The only difficult task is dressing her in pants or shorts. The process of removing the support from the legs can be a little unpleasant. It takes a lot of time, so if you're going to constantly change the bottoms on the mannequins for an internet store, I'd recommend trying something else to keep your sanity. I purchased a half-body. Use a leg shape or a half body form. She always wears the same pair of jeans unless I'm taking a picture of a dress. She must be properly positioned on the support or else she will lean forward. Those are the only issues I have with this. Again, I truly have no complaints about the price.Surprisingly, it is durable. She has fallen twice down my steps. Nothing shattered and there were no dents or marks anywhere on her body as her head, arms, and torso all fell off. Which, given the hardwood flooring and the fact that I injured my own ankle on them, is very impressive. HA! Just to be clear, the wig is not included. Mine was purchased from an estate auction. In conclusion, while it isn't perfect, it is really good considering the cost. She will be on display in my shop even though I didn't expect it would stay. I bought this so I could shoot light clothing or jewelry on my all-white, half-mannequin (without a back) that hangs from a hook. It fit well on my mannequin once I removed the hook. Next, we must determine the hook. At the very top, where the hook hole would be, I clipped some of the threading using my teeny, tiny sewing clippers. It is 1.5" broad, as I made it. I put the cover back on and reattached the hook to my mannequin. The hole proved to be just big enough when I wiggled it over the hook. It works; it spared me from purchasing a space-consuming all-black mannequin. Both recommending and repurchasing it. I must now locate one for my diminutive male half-mannequin. I haven't yet checked to see if it will fit it too, but I kind of doubt it because it barely fits over the female one.

It's fantastic all around. However, the plastic component holding the torso together was damaged when I received it on October 4th. The same day, I contacted them. The new item was not received until October 21st. I asked for the replacement item or, in the event that it wasn't available, a new mannequin. When they requested a picture, I submitted it right away. When I emailed them about the picture, they never replied, but they did ask whether I wanted a replacement or a refund. Days went by between emails.The back and forth emails prolonged a process that I had repeatedly emphasized as being urgently needed for a project. Waiting 17 days for it was frustrating, given that it was for the second half of one of my Halloween displays. Just one week from now, I'll be able to use it.Although the mannequin is stunning in and of itself, the plastic portion holding it all together is somewhat weak. A Matilda from the turn of the century once hung at the store where I used to work. She was a size 12, adjustable in height but not in size, and you could pin her to your heart's content without fear of breaking her. Although Matilda had unsightly fabric on her, we used to enjoy giving her a makeover with fresh slipcovers. I've been daydreaming about buying a Matilda (or something comparable) ever since I left the store, but they are incredibly pricey and I just can't wait any more. She is lightweight (Matilda was NOT), spins (I would argue that she does not pin), a lovely shade of green, and her feet do not damage my wood floors.Pros: Extremely adjustable; when pulled in, she is around a size 2-4 and when pulled out, she is close to an 18. Her height can also be changed. Yesterday, I completely let her go and sat down in a chair to bead the bodice of a bridal dress. She is Blair because she always sits in the corner with her back to the wall. She makes my cat and I both feel a little uneasy because of how lifelike the face looks. Her torso was difficult for us to attach. When trying to screw in the leg impaler thingy, the base's pads were first difficult to install because they were on the wrong side. Be careful with easily snagged stuff because she does have some prickly parts. At some point, I'll give her a thorough exfoliation. It might be difficult to get pants on her, in my opinion. I believe you would need to unimpale her leg, tip her over to put them on, tip her back over, reimpale, then rejoin the torso (see above regarding connection concerns). Just imagining it makes me exhausted. She has, however, really improved the way my tops seem in photographs, so she was definitely worth having despite her flaws. We will have to wait and watch if she ever wears pants.

Wow! I had an excellent time making this purchase. On January 29, I made a purchase, and the following day, I received notification that it had shipped, with delivery scheduled for February 5–12. I was a little disappointed that it would take a while to ship, but that was to be expected as this is not qualified for Prime. The item did, however, show up on February 2nd! Compared to what I have read in the review that people have problems assembling, it was simple to put together. Only if I move her will the left arm fall easy, but because I only used it to take pictures, I don't have to move her and the arm stays in place. The good news is that I can quickly remove her clothing so I can change her. The glass base was solid enough for her to stand on, and unlike other reviews, it doesn't have any rough edges. The skin tone is Caucasian, despite the fact that I would have preferred a darker shade of skin. However, they do have it. The facial response does like a display mannequin from a store window.
