When you factor in all the fantastic stamps, these ink pads are even more of a steal! It DID require some work to get the stamps out of their plastic covers. (Drawn FIRMLY but slowly after being soaked in hot, soapy water.) Tomerrow instead of tomorrow was misspelled on one of the stamps, but I don't care because I'm thrilled with the rest of the gifts! The inks contain good ink content and moisture load and are bright. neither too dry nor too soupy I'm still looking for a good gold and silver ink pad because they, regrettably, didn't satisfy my metallic ink needs. BUT it's still a GREAT DEAL and worth purchasing!A question regarding bleed through prompted the addition of some photographs. On my cheap sketch pad where I swatch out all my art media colors, there was ZERO bleed through. On inexpensive printer paper and on the pages of my planner, there is no bleed through. Ghosting can be seen on the printer and sketch paper, but not on the pages of my light card stock planner. However, if you're using bible weight paper, definitely use a ground (clear gesso) beforehand. These won't transfer to pages below.

I adore these blocks, particularly the smaller one because I use it so much. Although I don't use the larger block very often because I have so many stamps, it's wonderful to have it on available in case I need to use a larger or longer stamp. The blocks are gorgeous! They are quite strong and have a terrific weight to them, plus they are a great price ($5). The corners were somewhat sharp, so I did ask my husband to use his sanding tool to slightly round them, but it was a simple fix. They are about 1/2" thick, which I love because it gives my fingers something to hold onto and prevents the blocks from bending as I stamp.

Because the stamps offer excellent value, I purchased more of them. The corners were more pointed the first time I got them; the second time, they were rounded. Given that I allow my daughter to use them, I favour the rounded edge. Overall, I hope they stick with the rounded corners because these are excellent and adorable blocks.

I basically purchased this stamp set to use for cardmaking. The displayed card is an ordinary A2 size card. It is really challenging to remove these stamps from the carrier sheet. Amazingly, they didn't tear. The photos provide a clear image and stamp well. After exerting so much effort to remove them from the carrier sheet, they don't want to cling as effectively as they should. But overall, it's unbeatable for the price.
