There are a lot of opinions out there about retro bit controllers. Some people love them, some people think they're just okay, and some people think they're terrible. I used to use an S-Video cable to connect my Saturn, but my current TV does not have an S-Video input. The new microswitch has a more tactile "bump" and doesn't produce a mouse-like "click" sound. It's subtle, but I kind of prefer it, to be honest.The Dpad and this is the big question. It is a little off, but I don't believe you would notice it after using the product for five minutes.Being a two-piece deal, it functions in the same way. However, it's rather obvious. Retrobit uses a screw to hold itself together because the tolerances couldn't be perfected. (Side note: Given that the original had holes for a screw, I believe Sega also meant a screw.)The Dpad can be swapped out easily as a whole, but I personally wouldn't mix the two pieces together.The contact pads fit in an original with as much precision as is reasonable. For the Saturn, I used a typical memory card, but this one is unquestionably an improvement. It truly is the best cartridge for the Sega Saturn, and owners of the system must purchase it. You can play import games on this cartridge, which also includes the 1M and 4M expansions built in so you don't need to buy separate carts or encounter titles that won't run because you don't have the right expansion for the Saturn. The Saturn had a very brief lifespan in the United States, therefore many import games were never published there. These days, a lot of Saturn imports are also quite reasonably priced, some even significantly less expensive than the American models, making them more desirable and accessible than ever.This cartridge also has built-in cheat codes for numerous Saturn games in addition to these capabilities. There is an option to add your own codes, which you can certainly find online, if the game you wish to play isn't listed.Although you will need to buy a separate Saturn memory card to be able to save directly to this cartridge, you can copy data from the internal memory to the cartridge, and doing so is a simple and quick process.This cartridge is highly challenging to remove from the Saturn (if you choose to do so), and you shouldn't continually putting it in and taking it out of the console because doing so would damage the cartridge slot and render the cartridge useless. My cartridge fit into the console without issue. This should be placed in your console, and I advise leaving it there. For those worried that the cartridge would not function, I bought the most recent model without the PC expansion slot on the top, and mine is in perfect working order.

These headphones are extremely excellent! Since I teach online, sound is crucial to everything I do. There are no wire shortages or audio skips, and the sound quality is excellent. The microphone is placed reasonably far from my face and captures my voice wonderfully.I presently share a home with a huge family and three giant dogs, and I honestly have no communication with either of these two groups (although I do distance myself when working.) Despite their age, older consoles like the NES and Sega Genesis still produce progressive scan video that can be upscaled to resolutions of 720p and higher with no input lag and a razor-sharp image. However, systems like the Saturn make matters more difficult by frequently supporting both a progressive and a "interlaced" mode inside the same game. In brief, the greatest scalers for the NES and Genesis have significant limitations with the Sega Saturn, including signal dropouts that can cause you to watch a blank screen for up to 10 seconds in the middle of your game.The Saturn needs an adaptor that normalizes the output due to its erratic video stream so the TV never loses the image. This is accomplished through the LevelHike, however it causes some lag. There would always be at least one frame, and I believe this device has two. The fact that all games will function and the lag won't make any games unplayable makes this compromise the greatest one that can be made. Saturn suffers from this issue because of an outdated Sega schematic with the channels switched around. Let's just state that if there is a problem, I haven't observed it and that it wouldn't significantly influence my choice to buy.When it comes down to it, there are a lot of trade-offs involved in creating the LevelHike cable as a reliable and simple-to-use product. Maybe in the future, adaptive sync displays will allow devices like the Saturn to seamlessly sync. There may be a mode option on an adapter like this one day, allowing you to select between "zero latency" and "no dropouts." But for the time being, this is the best that can be done. And it's really, really wonderful for someone in their 30s.I had already pieced together a retrovision component cable, a retrotink 2x, and a professional scaler to normalize the signal and minimize dropouts before utilizing the LevelHike cable. The picture was excellent, the sound was a tad hot, and there was only one frame of latency with that solution. The price was around $450. Enjoy your Saturn games and be grateful that things like this are affordable and simple.

This cable satisfied my desire for s-video compatibility when I purchased it. This dual Composite/S-video cable does not have any of the problems that I often want to avoid in dual Composite/S-video cables since they frequently have checker-boarding and other artifacts that do not produce a pure S-video signal. The outputs clearly differ in quality, which makes the games on my 25" CRT appear fantastic and sharp. Additionally, it's convenient to have the option to choose composite for games that heavily rely on dithering.Although the red and white plugs are reversed, as some reviewers have noted, this is not entirely the maker's fault as the schematics available for the Saturn are incorrect. As a result, I won't deduct a star from the product as I might normally do, but I do hope that subsequent revisions will address this problem.Although the construction may not be at the level of an OEM product, the video cable feels durable enough to last because you won't be moving it around very often.Overall, the cable is wonderful, and I wholeheartedly endorse it for Saturn players.

Actually, I'm very happy that I made the purchase of this headset. I enjoy streaming my gameplay to Twitch.tv and YouTube. When my capture card died, I bought this headset so I could stream directly from my PS4 in its place. I use a shure sm48 dynamic microphone, which isn't designed for usage with a PlayStation 4. Not to mention that when I did able to connect a USB sound card to my PS4, my voice would frequently cut out. Additionally, the quality of my microphone was substantially diminished by the usb jack compression on the USB ports on the PS4. So, I decided to purchase this headset as a fix. In order to hear footsteps and other sounds in my games, I required an inexpensive headset with a high-quality microphone. This will suffice till I get around to getting a replacement capture card. It appears that when you use it on a computer, there is some sort of vibrate capability available. not yet tried it. The best headset for the money is certainly this one.

Although I mostly bought these as a gift for my son, I also really wanted to test out a few headsets for the house. More and more of our lectures-only online classes are now being conducted. We require a headset that will be comfortable during the full lecture and does not lag. These are reasonably priced. They look great right out of the box, and as they are a gift, I didn't remove the tape from the bling.The chord is amazing, I adore it! For any prolonged games or lectures, braided fabric cords are SO MUCH more flexible. For the first day after plugging in the headphones, I was unable to get my laptop to even acknowledge them. Although it was annoying, updating my sound card drivers was suggested by an internet search. I was able to get the computer to identify the headset after making that adjustment. There was a slight lag when I tried them with an online class, but that was due to the WiFi. Around 6 pm CST, the WiFi can become sluggish here.After that, I gave them to my other Son, who used the PlayStation 4, to test them out. I can't recall which game he tried them out on, but it was an MMORPG. His internet has a better speed, and there was no latency in the sound or microphone. He claimed they were at ease while donning glasses, which can be problematic. I tested them at home while performing yardwork on my phone. Most tracks had decent sound quality. The answer is unfortunately, no. The NetLink was an add-on for the Sega Saturn that allowed for internet and email connectivity. However, the servers that it depended on were shut down in 2002.
