I've used Moleskine products for a very long time. I adore Moleskine notebooks, and I've seen a lot of companies try to imitate them but without success. Having said that, I believe it is universally acknowledged that Moleskine's price is absurdly high, and I believe (though I could be mistaken) that over time, they have also decreased the number of pages in the notebooks. If this notebook is compared to a Moleskine, it has excellent quality and a fair pricing. The only difference between this paper and Moleskine's paper is that this paper has more pages. I adore the pen holder on the notebook's back. When you travel for meetings and merely bring an agenda and a pen, it is quite convenient. The main drawback is that it is only available in one color, a kind of camel brown. Normally, I like black notebooks, but this one is quite classy and suitable for business. Although I still think Moleskine is special and will probably occasionally purchase their products, this is a terrific alternative to take into account and I will undoubtedly continue using it. Oh, and the shipping was incredibly prompt!

I just placed an order for a second one for my house after placing the first one for work.If you're not familiar with the idea of a "Engineering Notebook," it is a hardcover bound notebook with grid-ruled pages created so that an engineer creating a novel (and potentially patentable) product can record lab notes, calculations, etc. in a way that both provides an organized permanent record of his or her work and a legal record that can be included as documentation with a patent application or submitted to a court as verifiable evidence of the time and nature of the invention. As a result, each page has a date field, a space for the engineer's signature, and a space for the signature of a person qualified to vouch for the accuracy of the work in the "Disclosed to and understood by" area. To further aid in distinctly identifying the work, there are fields for Title and Project.The fact that each page has a "Continued from page ___" field and a "Continued to ____" field makes this type of notebook extremely helpful for not only formal engineering development work but also for home projects, craft and hobby work, or any other activity where you want to keep a detailed record. Instead of needing to "pre-format" the notebook so that each project is in a contiguous section and hope that you assigned enough pages for it, this enables you to retain entries for many projects on subsequent pages. Simply record where you left off and where you continued on each page for a particular project. The Table of Contents contains a record for each page with fields to note the subject of the page and the date on which it was filled out, to aid in keeping track. Because each page is pre-numbered, it is impossible to remove a page without it being noticeable that something is missing.You could input specific statements of work, cost estimates, promised delivery dates, etc. if you were working with a contractor on a home improvement project, for instance. Each page would be autographed and date by both you and the contractor. Despite the fact that I am not a lawyer, I have to think that, in the terrible event of a dispute, such proof would be considered credible in a trial.Undoubtedly, you could get a notebook from a dime store and painstakingly fill in each field by hand, but this notebook is made of high-quality binding materials because it is intended to be a permanent archival record. It also unfolds and maintains a flat surface on a table or workbench due to its purpose as a laboratory notebook. spent a lot of time hunting for a suitable journal or notepad. had tried Amazon's, Rhodia, etc. Although they were each excellent in their own right, I had the following qualifications in mind:- I used a really robust binder and cover so I wouldn't have to worry about the notebook warping or the pages ripping.They employ a material that looks like imitation leather and has a pleasant touch.- So that I could align my content in an ordered and consistent manner, I used a grid (graph paper) design.The grid is about the appropriate size for me to type in the rows quickly, and it works nicely for the boxes you use for bulleting.- Small enough to fit into my preferred shoulder bag and be portable (Vanquest)I like the size and it works for me, but if it could just be an inch longer and broader, that would be AMAZING. a strong spine that would prevent pages from being easily tornNo grievances. A fresh commonplace book is required! This journal is ideal for my sporadic note-taking and drawing habits. Less vibrant but more leathery brown characterizes the color. There is no smearing when ink is applied to the paper. I'll update this and let you know how it stands up when I inevitably spill coffee or (and) beer on a page. For how cheap it is, the product looks really good overall. Bonus marks for the presentation that was shipped; for a brief minute, I thought I had ordered a tablet.The only drawback I discovered is that if you use it in public, people will approach you and inquire about where you obtained it. Oh, and the blank A5 book in that cool green color is not available. Lemome doesn't appear to have a presence on the internet in English, but he still makes a great container for your information.

I just bought this notebook for work because I used up my old one. Dotted pages are great because they let you take notes in a more unique way. I've looked through a lot of notebooks over the years, and I've yet to see a dotted notebook that isn't made of leather that is either black or blue. As a native of San Francisco, it goes without saying that I was thrilled to find such a sweet design like this one. I was happy to discover a sturdy, hard cover on my notebook once it came. The design is smooth and has a subtle sheen to it; it appears to be worth much more than I spent.I adore the robustness of the notebook, and I particularly value the table of contents at the front. I enjoy utilizing the bookmark that is attached, but I have to look through my notebook to find it if I want to refer to something other than what I'm working on right now. Now that every page has a number, I can look in my table of contents and find what I need.Finally, the price is justified by the volume of pages. These are the same thickness as the previous notebooks I've purchased, but I spent a similar price for half as many pages. No significant bleeding through when using a traditional ink fountain pen. This will quickly become one of your favorite notebooks, whether you use it for work, school, or just for yourself.

The best carbonless copy/duplicate lab notebook available retails for $21.Advantages: -Water-resistant binding fabric guards against spills of water and chemicals as well as handling.-Thick cardboard shell that is water resistant, with a sticker for information on the front.-The first page is a table of contents, bound once again with fabric and made of stiff paper or cardboard.-Perforated pages that are simple to remove. However, they are sturdy enough that they haven't come undone when writing in the lab notebook.-On carbonless copy pages, only Grid and Page Numbers are allowed!-It doesn't require any extra tables or conversions, so I can use it for my pre-lab tests!The page divider at the rear was not perforated and thus challenging to remove for use.In fact, I didn't take it off out of concern that it might tear. Additionally, the cardboard in the notebook's rear strengthened its structural integrity. There was no bleed through to adjacent pages because I used a laminated periodic table on cardboard as an alternative.)There are no extras or a periodic table in this lab notebook. This notebook was used by me for a chemistry lab. The absence of the periodic table is due to the fact that it was not designed with chemistry in mind. However, the back has a comprehensive list of unit conversion factors and frequently used physical constants. The pages of the carbonless copy are simple to read. Additionally, the front and back of the book are covered with plastic sheets, which protect it from countless spills and increase its durability.The copy pages are not aligned with (or adhered to) the associated original pages, which is one area that may be improved. Instead, they are each held separately by the wire binding. Because of this, precision graphing done on the original may not be accurately reproduced, and occasionally, data that was written on different lines on the original will overlap on the copy page.I used very little glue at the top and bottom of each page, right next to the binding, to affix each pair of pages together in order to solve this issue. (See image.) A built-in feature of this nature would be fantastic.Despite the additional labor required to properly match the copy pages with the original, I am happy with this book.

Cover is robust. The paper has a gorgeous white gloss and is pleasant and smooth. Friendly to fountain pens, albeit I'm using a Fine. There is some show through, but no ink seeps through the paper. A broader or more moistened fountain pen could bleed ink onto the paper. Five-star qualityBut when it was delivered, there were two significant holes in the thick cover that fully through the front pages, leaving them with "dimples". For a class notebook, this wouldn't be an issue, but I intended to use it for journaling. I anticipate receiving an intact item for $8 apiece.
