What can you say about chalk and an eraser for a blackboard, then? In actuality, the chalk is excellentââ¬âdense, cohesive, dustless, and available in a variety of vibrant colors. But I think the eraser, which is a no-foolin'-around kind of item, has most struck me. It was a delightful surprise to unwrap because it was really well built and a generous, manageable size. The tips on these markers are something I am a bit concerned about. I switched the tip on one of the markers to the chisel end and primed the marker, and by the time the marker had primed, the tip was entirely flattened and frayed. The colors appear brilliant, opaque, and not streaky. This one fell apart very fast since the tips are obviously "mushy" to start with, and priming markers is already rough on the tips.The loss of the chisel side of the tip wasn't a deal breaker for me because I planned to use the markers on the bullet side. Nevertheless, I would advise priming the marker on the other end of the tip you intend to use in order to save the tips you WILL be using.If the advice doesn't stand up after repeated use, I'll update my review. For the time being, they are functioning as they should; however, given the amount I spent for this set of markers, I can't anticipate the world's most resilient nibs.

I utilize a chalkboard to instruct adults in a lesson once a week. It was lousy chalk I was using. It was a Crayola brand, and when I would write on the board, it would shriek, making everyone in the room shiver. It would malfunction and skip. On the board, it left a mark. I then took a piece of the chalk out of the box and began to write on the board. Oh! It was SO blissful! I declared out, "Oh, wow! This is GREAT!" I just used blackboard paint to refinish an old boarded-up fireplace in my room. Since I am unable to construct an actual fire, I thought it may be interesting to design one; perhaps adding a small fire gate and fire pokers to the side, or perhaps writing some phrases to serve as motivation as I get ready in the morning. So I made the decision to search online in an effort to locate some "better grade" chalk. I had in mind those elaborate and colorful chalk paintings you occasionally see in coffee shops or other little hipster hangouts. I came into this Versa Chalk when looking for the magical chalk that, in my heart of hearts, I secretly believed would turn me into the next Picasso (if Picasso had drew quotes to get ready for his morning). The product appeared to fit into the same category as the reviews, which all looked to be in line with what I was searching for. The markers featured fine points, were available in a variety of colors, and were purportedly very simple to clean up. I therefore made the decision to buy them.The VersaChalk is actually everything it claims to be. It was not at all a problem that I had to sketch vertically, despite my first concerns. The colors are all really vibrant, so you don't need to press down firmly to achieve the bold, distinctive appearance I was going for. All of the colors have now been used numerous times and are still in good condition. Although even the white chalk (which I use the most frequently) appears to still be full, I was worried they wouldn't last very long. I say fairly because, while I can doodle all day long, if you ask me to draw a hand or something similar, let's just say I give it my best shot. For instance, the marker I initially mistook for being light pink or peach is actually blazing orange.
