I work with fine thread crochet a lot, and I'm currently engaged in a black project. With other book lights, it happens all too frequently that the batteries run out, the light dims, and you realize you are out and need to dash back to the store—or that the batteries you just lost have expired. Battery waste and environmental effects are further factors. Today, there is no longer a need for that. With this, you may connect it directly to the wall or to your laptop using the built-in USB connector by using the wall adaptor that comes with your iPhone, smartphone, or other device (the "brick with the two prongs"). This light is nice. I'll be honest and say that I didn't buy it to read. I just like seeing things. I frequently go camping, and the next time I do, I'll bring this light. First off, there are no batteries included; instead, a USB charging cable is provided, which is my preference because it reduces waste and costs. Second, the clip is substantial in a positive way. It can clip onto practically anything, which was a major plus for me, but if you're reading Bleak House, I suppose you wouldn't have any trouble doing it. Third, the light, which has a number of LED lights but isn't required to be brilliant. There are three settings that may be selected using the very simple touch pad on the clip. Counting off, there are four. Fourth, you can actually adjust the neck to any angle because it is far longer than the necks of other booklights. There is one drawback, but it isn't very serious. The touch pad is incredibly delicate. Every time you handle the clip, you'll unintentionally press it, but it's not a big concern. It's a light, not a loaded firearm, so you'll be alright. This light is excellent for reading or just having a light where you need it if you're seeking for a good one. I'm going to attach mine to the nightstand so that it will be there whenever I wake up in the middle of the night and need to get up or just peek around.

Because it is in a tiny nook and doesn't have an overhead light, I got this for my kids' beds. This is a cute little lamp all around. It securely clips to an adjacent shelf. There are two switches on it, and while their purposes are not immediately clear, you can experiment with them to find out. There are three locations on the switches, and the middle setting is "off," which toggles between two types of light (soft white and daylight) and two intensities as well (they are kind of little rocker switches). On the cord is where they are. Additionally, the LED is protected by a frosted lens cover, which I appreciate because I don't want my kids to stare directly at LED lights because it could injure their eyes. Additionally, it avoids the extremely brilliant pinpoint of light that occasionally emanates from LED reading lamps.It can be plugged into a USB port or a regular electrical socket.
