I've never used liquid chalk markers or chalkboard labels before.I had read that you should prime pens before using them, so I did that with this one, but in the process, I managed to spill most of the ink all over my hands, clothes, labels, table top, and floor.My kids and husband soon had it all over them as I struggled to clean up the mess and accidentally made it worse. No kidding!A mess, that was! As I washed my hands, I laughed so hard at myself when I saw myself in the mirror. What a journey!The clothing were washed in the laundry with their regular loads and there were no stains or anything to clean up; a moist cloth took care of the majority of it (although I had to rinse it out a few times). It was very simple to get out of the carpet.One of the labels has already been hand washed in a solution of dish soap, water, and bleach. I haven't put any through the dishwasher yet, but I have no doubt that any jars with labels on them will come out with them still on. A proper test of how well these things hold up could be conducted if my dishwasher had more power.The chalk does not smear when it is dry, but it can be readily removed with a moist cloth or paper towel and leaves no trace behind. Yay!!I've only used them on glass jars and plastic containers. They have not yet been tested on other surfaces. When I do, I'll update my review.Overall, my experience was chaotic yet positive. When I need more, I will most certainly purchase more of these. Next time, I'd love to have colorful markers, too. :-)

For my DM300 postal meter, ideal. I've used Pitney and Avery, but those occasionally either don't attach properly or curl a little and are a hard feed depending on humidity and age. These are extremely permanently adhered and always remain flat. At this price, I won't take any more chances because they are by far the best. Simply said, they surpass the Pitney Bowes 625-0 cassettes. I'll definitely make another purchase from this firm.
