The shipment came on schedule. But when I opened the Prime package, the product's primary box had been so badly harmed that it almost seemed like it had been tampered with. After a very careful investigation, the inner tube and its contents appeared unharmed, so I almost voiced my worry to the firm.It's rare for me to find cosmetics that work well with my acne-prone, oily to combination skin on my face (with occasional dry patches), which is typically accompanied by poor elasticity and dry/ashy-ness and sensitivity on my limbs. As a result, I'm naturally skeptic when it comes to trying new cosmetic products. So I always go into testing a new product with some skepticism or expect some sort of placebo effect. To my amazement, the inflammation I had been noticing in my scars over the past month started to go away after just a few uses. (That came when the scar tissue started to dramatically soften nearly immediately.)If it were feasible, I'd give this scar gel a rating closer to 4.5 or 4.75. I leaned on a curling wand unintentionally and severely burned myself. Woops. The entire thing started to blister right away, and the following day it completely peeled off. Ick. For me to be able to use the silicone scar sheets, it took about 2 weeks for the area to scab over and for the scab to eventually fall off. On stretch marks, a more recent C-section scar, and older surgical scars on my foot and abdomen, I tried this. After just two days, the stretch marks were visibly less noticeable. I ought to have taken before and after pictures. The skin is considerably softer. My C-section scar has smoothed out and is becoming less red. Just under two weeks have passed since I first started using the strips. They stick really well (I rinse in warm water and use some neutral soap to clean on a daily basis). They do take a while to dry, but that's okay because I don't want to wear them nonstop without giving my skin a break. Oh, and they conceal well beneath clothing. I vouch for this item! For ten years, I have picked at my face, which has lessened the number of scars. Even ancient scars from club soccer and mountain biking, whether on my knees, shins, shoulders, hips, etc., I've used this on really dark, deep purple scars that are a decade old, and in one to two weeks, you can clearly see a difference. I bought a second bottle of Mederma lotion to treat and lighten a 1-month-old scar on my cheek. I'll include the Mederma Advanced 1x scar gel in a few remarks even though this review is for the Mederma PM Scar cream. I purchased both.Initially, while searching online for more specialist treatments, I bought rosehip oil to cure the scar from a herbalist store. The rosehip oil cost about the same, however it had no effect whatsoever on lightening the reddish patch of skin from a freshly created automobile, just some tiny effects to assist the scar heal. When I was conducting my research, I discovered that Mederma products had received outstanding reviews on a number of websites, including Amazon. I started out by buying the Mederma Advanced Scar Gel (once-a-day application recipe), which is also offered on this website. I used it every day for a month and a half before I began to notice results. Even though that other product wasn't particularly marketed as a night application gel, I typically used it at night. I'll say it again: everyday use was required, and patience is required to observe the results.I chose to buy the Mederma PM gel product in late December because its reviews were even better than the first product's, which was already producing excellent effects. When I used the ointment solely on the scar and refrained from touching the surrounding skin to flatten any potential lumps or bumps, I really started to see benefits. Just leave the layer as it is if it appears to be a little thicker than you planned. The region you intend to treat will reap the advantages of the cream's absorption when it eventually flattens out on its own (the same thing happens with the gel, it happens with both Mederma treatments).Since November (a little over two months total), I have been utilizing these items without missing a beat, occasionally using both just once at different times of the day: Mederma PM before night, and Mederma Advanced 1x in the morning or afternoon when I'm at home. I can report that the scar is now incredibly difficult to see. The only pink pigmentation that is visible on the skin surface is to someone who has been closely tracking the evolution of the beel; others do not. People I interacted with for a while used to stare at my scar, likely wondering what had happened to my cheek. Thankfully, the strange sensation of others staring at the scar has vanished.I want to use Mederma PM for many more months, practically until the tube is empty. If the development made in the past two months is any indicator, my relatives won't even notice that I had a little burn scar on my face that was reddish in color. For new scars, the company requests that you wait at least 4 months, and for older scars, much longer. All I can say is that it has done a fantastic job in just two months, and going forward, things can only become marginally better.

I've been using this lotion to treat stretch marks for a long (from muscle growth). Stretch marks are scars, and it treats them. It's basically the same Mederma product, however there is one made especially for stretch marks. Cepalin has been rebranded. That is the main component of Mederma.The 50g version is unquestionably the better option because you'll save money if you decide to keep using this product, especially over time. It is also, in some ways, significantly more effective than the ordinary version—possibly twice as much. If I apply a generous amount to my skin, it's so potent that it makes my skin itch as though I have poison ivy. That's awful, but if I only use a tiny bit—which is also helpful for getting more daily use out of the product—I don't itch, so the issue can be avoided.After using this lotion consistently for approximately a year, I've noticed a 60% or more reduction in my stretch marks. That is evidence that the product I am using actually works, albeit very slowly. Spending roughly $200 on Mederma annually is worthwhile, though, given how pricey the alternative is. Cosmetic removal can cost hundreds to thousands of dollars and is typically not covered by insurance. I'm taking that into account as well, so if alternative treatment was reasonably priced, I'd definitely give this product three stars. In addition to Mederma's stretch marks formula, which I previously indicated is essentially the same product, I am unaware of any other treatment that effectively removes stretch marks at this level of efficiency, despite results appearing gradually.

I had knee surgery, and soon after, a big keloid appeared. My pajamas, the sheet, or anything else would aggravate my keloid due to its extreme sensitivity. When it reached a certain point of discomfort, it would become really uncomfortable and might even make me cry! The doctor recommended medications and told the patient that the only alternative option was to have another operation to remove the scar tissue. Naturally, I declined to take such action! I am incredibly grateful that a buddy introduced me to Kelo Cote. This product has allowed me to sleep through the night in the past. Leggings, jeans, or any other clothing that covers my knees are now also acceptable. Because it costs so much for such a tiny tube, I was going to give this product 4 stars. Because of my cystic acne and surgeries, I have extensive scarring. Unfortunately, the scars are old, which makes them tougher to soften, and depending on the type of scar, not all scars will react to silicone scar treatments (silicone is designed mainly for keloid and hypertrophic scars). Having said that, there has been a variation in the hypertrophic scars' height and hue. For me, the silicone sheets are more effective than the gel, but who can stand having huge sheets covering their faces all day? Few. Additionally, the product is now a roll-on and is made to deposit a thin coating of silicone on the scar, frequently in areas where it is challenging to determine if it has worked its way out, which encourages excessive rolling and squeezing of the tube. I liked the old-fashioned tubes better.I advise visiting a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and obtaining steroid injections if you're searching for an instant miracle cure for keloid or hypertrophic scars.
