Therefore, I bought this after a "holistic buddy" advised me to put it on my toenails, which had been infected for more than 20 years. This year, I had asthma all of a sudden due to mold exposure. Dust, dry air, warm air, smoke, and mold spores are now the asthma triggers. So I purchased this to treat my fungal nail and athletes foot. I was going to take before and after photos, but I decided against it because it's so disgusting.Anyhow, this stuff is incredible. After giving my feet a 20-minute soak in hot water with 10 drops of oil, I dried my feet off and applied the undiluted oil to my toenails and feet without rinsing. I put on socks after letting it dry. In all the research I could find, it was advised to dilute tea tree because it could sting and cause redness, but I didn't because I didn't want the fungus to come back and my skin has never been sensitive.Although the smell is powerful, I didn't find it offensive. Naturally, tea tree aroma is present. It smells something like eucalyptus and cleaning supplies. It smells like I just scrubbed the holy crap off of my feet, which is why I like it. My feet no longer have as much Oder, I've observed.I did want to provide the following recommendation for anyone else treating nail fungus: filet the nail as thinly and briefly as you can before using oil or lotions to ensure that they penetrate your nail completely.I was considerably assisted by the foot disk with this oil, followed by drying and applying with a q-tip. Please look into Demodex mites, and you'll become really worried! There are some excellent educational videos on You Tube, and the internet offers some clinical data. Demodex mites are almost universal, and research into them is just beginning. Demodex mites may be to blame if you frequently scratch yourself or have any form of skin condition. Beware, it's rather gross!Anyway, Tea Tree oil is suggested as a strategy to assist lower the number of the mites, and I think it is actually effective in my case. This product is superior to the one I bought from a large chain pharmacy, and it also seems to smell better. But even if my odor is overpowering, I don't find it to be particularly objectionable, and no one ever complains about it anymore (:-) just kidding. Actually, I did some testing with different shampoos and discovered that you could alter the scent for a more pleasant experience.As a result, I add this to my baths, shampoo, liquid soap, and laundry detergent as well as dabbing it on any skin conditions I believe are caused by demodex mites. I still have at least half of the bottle after three weeks. My skin is healing well. Three weeks later, there has been a significant difference that was first apparent after around three days. Even while this will function well on its own, I took further steps to fight the parasites.I took more baths (instead of my customary one long shower per day and one bath every few weeks), changed my bedding more frequently, and avoided wearing the same clothes (including jeans) more than once without first washing them in light bleach and a small amount of this solution.I also have a couple spots that seem to be drying up and shrinking in size where previous products would not, even though I was also diagnosed with a severe form of non-malignant skin cancer. This patchouli bottle was spoiled. I've purchased bottles from health food stores, from individuals or under their own brands, and online from firms that buy bulk essential oils; however, when I spotted the Artizen brand on Amazon, I thought I'd give it a shot.
