Jamie Oliver is a world-renowned chef, so it's no surprise that his line of frying pans is of excellent quality. The pans are made of durable materials and have a non-stick coating, making them ideal for cooking. They also have a deep well that allows for even cooking.
Tefal is a French cookware and small appliance manufacturer. It is part of Groupe SEB. Tefal products are known for their non-stick properties. Are Tefal pans good? Tefal pans are good for cooking because they have a non-stick surface. This means that food does not stick to the pan and is less likely to burn. The non-stick surface also makes it easier to clean the pan.
Yes, Jamie Oliver frying pans can go in the oven. The material they are made of is oven-safe and can withstand high temperatures.

Well made and excellent for pasta and other sauces and soups. I've come to adore this line of RR pots. I own high-end cookware from Caphalon, All Clad, Staub, Le Creuset, and other brands, but I always seem to lean toward the RR pots. They clean up easily and cook wonderfully. They are also simple to use because they are not heavy. I strongly advise.

Previously, I had a sizable saute pan, but the glass lid broke, severely limiting its use. I had to throw it away when the non-stick parts started to peel off. Even bigger, yet cooks just as quickly, is this. I adore it so much! Anything is possible here! Chili, tacos—whatever you require. Making one-pan dinners is one of my favorite activities, and this recipe can feed a family. Cooks really evenly and is incredibly simple to wash. Due to its size, I rarely put it in the dishwasher, but I detest doing dishes. This is simple to clean, so I never find myself cursing at the sink in the kitchen, wondering why my spouse isn't doing it.

For families or individuals who enjoy cooking a large quantity of food at once, the "Cooks Standard 5 Quart/11-Inch Hard Anodized Nonstick Deep Saute Pan with Lid, Black" is ideal. I enjoy cooking, but I detest having to cook every day. Since I'm constantly on the run, I cook a lot of food at once. For spaghetti and sauces, the size is ideal. The depth of the pan more than makes up for the fact that it is an 11.5-inch rather than the more common 12-inch. I feel like I don't need to cook at such a high heat any longer because the heat distribution has been even so far.It is clear that the pan is durable. Although I try not to use metal utensils because I've had issues in the past, I haven't had any issues with scratches on the bottom up to this point. Although it weighs somewhat more than some other pans for those with weak wrists, the helper handle is really useful and, as the name implies, convenient. The fact that the pan is oven-safe excites me, and I am eager to use it. I have faith that the pan will perform well in the oven based on other evaluations.I have found it to be really simple to clean the pan. The dirt seems to easily wipe off. I haven't put it in the dishwasher and instead merely wash it in warm, soapy water to prolong the life. It does, however, make the dishwasher safe claim. You'll have to put that to the test.Being a college student, I did not feel comfortable spending more than $20 on a single pan. To get what I wanted—a sizable, oven- and dishwasher-safe pan to enable me to experiment with my wild trial recipes—I had to spend this much money on the pan. I do suggest this pan to anyone who enjoys cooking, is constantly on the go, or simply wants a dependable pan.I wish you the same success with this pan as I did. But keep in mind! Instead of putting the pan in the dishwasher, hand wash it to get the most value out of this product. Use rubber utensils if you don't want to scratch the pan's bottom, and keep that in mind as well.

Great quality, reasonable weight, nice handle with a non-slip grip, and decent non-stick properties (if memory serves, teflon was once the best, but it was outlawed due to its harmful manufacturing method). The glass lid is well-made, tightly seals, has a secure non-slip grip, and a small hole to let steam escape and prevent vacuum-sealing the pan after the heat has been turned off for some time (which could be dangerous if you tried to force it off). Now, every weekend, my husband and I cook breakfast. In this pan, he cooks the bacon and the hash browns, and I prepare the sunny side up eggs. I turn the heat to medium-high, coat the pan with Pam (for delicate edge crispness), add the eggs, cover it, and cook it for 1 minute before turning off the heat for 45 seconds. The albumen covering the yolks is just beginning to cook, leaving the yolks nice and fluid, and I can see this through the glass top (beyond the condensation). Sunny side up eggs are frequently made poorly in restaurants (raw albumen on top, ugh), but with this pan, they turn out perfectly every time! These pans have a lot of depth. Making some of my favorite meals, which call for a goodly volume and a good tight-fitting lid, is something I'm looking forward to. Dishes with spinach and broccoli came to mind. After using these pans for a while, I've discovered that the design is ideal for turning anything within. In fact, the pan WANTES to flip if you shake it. great condition.

Because there are comments and pictures of other customers' pots and/or lids being damaged and bent, I was hesitant to order after reading many of the other reviews, but I took a chance and did so. I'm pleased I did, though. I must say that I adore the colors. That was my main reason for ordering it because I had originally intended to purchase a more expensive pot and pan set, but when I saw this cheaper set, I noticed that it was multicolored, and since I love colors (and frequently grow tired of the fact that when you purchase a pot set, the set is typically coordinated, and you are seeing the same colors on all of your pots), so I fell in love with the look. The colors are bold and bright. I will admit, though, that the red pan is, in my opinion, more red-ORANGE, which was good with me. Because I've used several red sets already and am tired of that hue of pots, I actually expected to enjoy the red pan the least when I read the colors before ordering; however, because it was more orangish, I actually really liked that. I look inside the pots and pans, and there are no marks on the surface. Before placing my order, I also noted that a different reviewer had written something about wiping out the pots and pans with a paper towel and finding black gunk from the interior all over the paper towel when she took it away. I did, however, use two of the paper towels (not the entire set), and I'm delighted to report that there was no black substance on them. A manual is included with the set. The manual does contain directions on how to "season" them with oil and how frequently, even though these are not even close to being cast iron pans. I saw in some other reviews that some people thought the pots were a little bit on the tiny side. The sizes are excellent for my partner and I, but if you're used to buying enormous, pricey pot sets or if you have a very, really big family, they would definitely be a little tiny for you. I don't really see what other people are getting at when they say they're too small because even after looking at them closely, they are the same size as previous pot sets I've used in the past that allowed me to easily cook a meal for 4 or 5. They're really not that small, but you have to consider the size of the pan or pot and its intended purpose. Isn't that the purpose of using different pot sizes for various foods? For instance, the pink and blue ones are smaller than expected, while the little black fry pan is fairly enormous. In the smaller pots, I would heat sauce or vegetable cans, and in the larger pot, I would make stews, boil noodles, and other things. The only blemish I discovered on the entire set was a little black gash on the outside of the red-orange frying pan, but it was hardly noticeable and didn't bother me much. The huge glass lid's inner rim is slightly bent in one small spot, but it's such a small bend that it has no impact on how the lid attaches to the large blue pot. Nothing like what I see in the photos that other people have submitted. All of the lids fit perfectly with the corresponding pots, as I verified. Nothing is damaged. Although I'm not sure if the utensils that came with the pots are fragile, I was more concerned with making sure the pots were sturdy because, if they do turn out to be so, I can always run to the shop and get more utensils. There are many of utensils. That isn't a huge deal. I haven't used them to cook yet, so I can't comment on how well they work, but given that the interior is smooth, I don't see why they wouldn't hold up well if you follow the manual's instructions to "season" them frequently. I didn't expect Rachel Ray magic or any other high-end name-brand pots because the set only cost $40 overall. Last but not least, as was said at the outset of this review, there were MANY reviews in which the pot sets were crooked. Before placing my order, I tried to find the most current review to see whether the items being given out at the time were bent, but I know not everyone leaves reviews. I'll leave this to the person who is considering purchasing the set after looking at it. I truly had no issues with it, despite the fact that there are MANY photographs of other people's sets being bent; I'm not sure if I was simply lucky or if quality control has improved before the sets are distributed to customers. Overall, I'm glad I made the purchase.

I purchased this pan in November 2017 and now that I have had a chance to use it, I wanted to give a review. I adore using this large, gorgeous pan to prepare fried chicken. The bottom is 11" in diameter. From the tabletop to the top edge of the pan, it is 3" high. About 1.5" deep and high, or up to the bottom of the rivets, is the inner cooking depth/height. Although it appears small, the 11" diameter makes for a huge space that can be filled with food. My gas stove's largest burner produces a flame that is roughly 6" in diameter. I've never experienced "hot patches" or the need to shift food to a hotter surface area for it to cook because the pan distributes heat evenly.- - - - -1st. Pan should be heated on the medium setting. Verify the pan's readiness for usage. Put a "small drop" of water into the pan using a wet spoon or other object. When it looks like "boiling water," the pan is ready.Second, "softly, lightly" butter or oil the skillet as if you were frying eggs. If a food item like a hamburger won't be necessary. I only cover the bottom of the pan with olive oil before I add it to the pan to fry the chicken. I test the pan by placing a little piece of food near the "side" (not the center) of the pan. sizzling sound should be audible. Otherwise, the pan isn't hot enough. Increase the heating time.3rd. Put the food to be cooked into the pan once the tiny food piece sizzles. A item of food cannot be moved at all once it is placed in the pan. It must remain just where it is. Before flipping or shifting the meal, it must first go through a process of browning or caramelizing on the underside. When this is finished, the meat will release from the pan but initially stick.- - - - -I heat up a sizable basin of water in the microwave while the chicken is frying. I wipe the pan clean after using it, and then I add the warm water. I can remove 99.9% of the food that has clung to the pan's bottom or sides by scrubbing it with a spatula. I'll drain the water later or the next morning, after which I'll wash the pan by hand. I dry it gently in the vicinity of the rivets and the pan's lip and top. Cleaning with "Bar Keepers Friend" is reported to give this the appearance of a brand-new pan. I recently purchased it and haven't tried it yet, but everything ought to be OK given the number of recommendations.- - - - -Do a search for "videos on how to cook with stainless steel" as there are many of them available for cleaning and cooking many types of cuisine. Here is a guide on using stainless steel in the kitchen. http://www.thecookwareadvisor.com/the-five-secrets-to-cooking-with-stainless-steel/I would repurchase this pan and suggest it to a friend. For the money, a better pan could not be purchased. This is my second one, and with good maintenance, it should survive just as long as my first one did (7 years). The non-stick coating is activated by the water's heat, so leftover food simply glides off when you rinse it under hot water with a soft sponge and liquid dish soap.In contrast to my $60 "discount priced" Calphalon, it is strong yet lightweight and does not bow with high heat. The small handle is also quite useful for carrying the pan while it is loaded with food. The cover is the ideal size. This pan works well for both family-sized dinners and for frying poultry (will easily fit 4 large slices of shank for ossobuco). My favorite use for it is to make stewed, caramelized veggies, or fricando, which are rather large when they are first added but shrink to less than half their initial size once cooked. To prepare it, simply heat up some olive oil (about 3 tbsp), add 1 large sliced onion, 4–5 medium-sized peppers, medium-sized chunks of eggplant, 2–3 medium zucchini squash, 3–3 medium-sized Idaho potatoes, and 2–3 large bay leaves. Cook on medium-high for 10 minutes with the lid on. Stirring is necessary before adding 3–4 tablespoons of water (or broth) and simmering for an additional 15 minutes to allow the water to be absorbed and the vegetables to caramelize. Serve after adjusting the ingredients to taste. If you have any leftovers, it tastes even better the next day (I doubt it, but it could happen). Eat it cold or top it with scrambled eggs for breakfast.Enjoy your skillet and your new dish.

I was initially prepared to send it back since I thought the handle comfort was terrible, awkward to grasp, and unstable in the hand. I decided to try it out to see whether it was merely a learning curve and a question of retraining my hand since I couldn't understand how a company associated with high-end cookware could deliberately have such a terrible handle. It only took a few minutes, and that's precisely what it was. Simply grasp the handle (with either hand) by wrapping your fingers around it and pushing your fingertips up to the nub underneath. For about a minute, it hurts and is uncomfortable, but then your hand starts to become used to it. It took me exactly five minutes. Once the adjustment has been done, the pan is surprisingly easy to handle and can be held steady. However, there is a learning curve, so I can understand how it might not be practical for many cooks out there.I use this along with an induction stove while I'm cooking, and the temperature control and uniform heating are amazing! Now, I almost always use it for everything. The price and "awkward" handle initially turned me off, but if you enjoy cooking and can look past the ergonomics of the handle, this saute pan is fantastic!
