A wine chiller is a device that is used to cool wine. There are many different types of wine chillers, including those made of marble. Marble wine chillers work by absorbing heat from the wine and then releasing it into the air. This process of heat transfer is known as convection. Marble is an ideal material for a wine chiller because it is a good conductor of heat. This means that it can quickly and evenly distribute the heat from the wine to the air, cooling the wine down quickly.

Enoluxe Wine Chiller Bucket - Insulated Wine Cooler/Champagne Bucket - Fits All 750 ml Bottles, Keeps Wine Cold (Stainless Steel) Review:

They advised against freezing it, but I went ahead and did it.After 12 hours, my deep freezer, which is set to -1F, felt quite chilly. I was worried before making the purchase that it may damage any seams (like the ones a Yeti-style cup has towards the bottom), but there are none! Unless you perform the high school science experiment on it (fire-to-ice bath), it is unlikely to harm anything. However, unless someone wants to sponsor my experiment, I won't be performing it.This maintained the temperature of my bottles in the deep-freeze mode for several hours. After a while, it proved challenging to take thermal measures; I'll use water the next time. The exterior is polished and the interior is brushed, which is a lovely touch. fits bottles with fat bottoms as well.I'm so glad I got this elegant bar accoutrement!

VonShef Copper Wine Bottle Cooler Chiller, Stainless Steel, Double Walled Insulated, Stemless Holder with Gift Box Review:

I provide expert wine tasting demonstrations, keeping the bottles on a table for more than three hours as I pour. These chillers perform excellently! My bottles come out of the refrigerator, go right into these, and by the conclusion of the tasting, they are in the low 60s even though the bottles are coming in and out frequently (temp. taken in the air gap between bottle and interior of chiller). I also put these (of which I have two and will purchase more if/when necessary) in the freezer the night before, but I don't believe it really boosts the chiller's efficiency — it is a good product as is!Since I have only used them in California's springtime, I have high hopes that they will continue to work effectively when the temperature soars into the triple digits. If not, I'll go over this review again in August and let you know what I learned.Although I've been very cautious handling my chillers and keeping them in their original boxes and bubble wrap when they're not in use, one did bump against something while in use or transit, which slightly scratched the paint. I didn't want to keep you from believing that these were unbreakable and wouldn't be scratched with regular use, even though it doesn't bother me.

Creative Home Genuine Champagne Marble Stone Rounded Bottom Wine Cooler, Beige Review:

This is gorgeous and of excellent quality. I was hesitant because of the cost, but I decided to give it a try because of the other favorable reviews. We use it when serving white wines and cool it in our wine refrigerator. I intend to purchase a few to have on hand as housewarming or congrats presents. Don't think twice about placing your order!

Reduce Wine Cooler Set - Stainless Steel Wine Bottle Cooler Set with 2 12oz Insulated Wine Tumblers - Keep Wine at the Perfect Temperature, No Ice Required, Fits Most Wine Bottles - Navy Review:

Although not expensive, this clever device yet accomplishes its goal. Had intended to buy one where the cost of the bottle cooler alone would have covered my entire set. Mine produced the same result for less money!

Vacu Vin 38804606 Active Wine cooler gel pack, Black Review:

To keep additional bottles refrigerated, we needed to purchase another of them. After around three years, the prior ones are still going strong. This is an excellent solution for ensuring that your white or rose wine stays chilled, as part of a picnic or event, and for fast chilling a little more than the fridge. The cooler sleeve will keep a bottle frozen for 1-3 hours depending on the ambient temperature, but we haven't noticed any real benefits from keeping it in the freezer for longer than roughly 2 hours. It lasts longer than the bottle contents typically do at about 80 degrees outside.Although not the most appealing option, this one is not entirely unpleasant. The pvc material is strong enough to last when put to and removed from the wine bottles; take note that it snugly fits ordinary size (750ml) bottles. They last considerably longer if you just keep in mind not to press the sleeve onto the bottle. We use and suggest these for larger bottles, especially champagne bottles:Champagne Cooler with Rapid Ice. If you enjoy bubbles, you must have both. Please mark this review as helpful if it was in order to aid others in finding it. Although I'd appreciate any constructive criticism on how it may be made more beneficial for you and others, feel free to flag it as not helpful if it wasn't. Please feel free to inquire about anything else not covered here.Regards, Mike

Coravin Limited Edition II Advanced Wine Preservation System and Bottle Opener, Includes 4 Argon Capsules and Display Base, Starry Night Review:

This new Starry Night Limited Edition features a clean, sophisticated appearance that complements nearly any kitchen design.I adore the Coravin wine preservation system because it allows me to sip on pricey wine without being concerned about squandering the remainder of the bottle. Although it appears hard at first glance, this is actually rather straightforward. The same idea applies when a doctor fills a syringe from a bigger pharmaceutical bottle; in that case, the needle punctures the rubber stopper and injects air into the container to pull out the contents. There are six different Coravin models, and each is essentially the same with the exception of the new Model Eleven's Bluetooth circuitry and the handle's appearance and form.Model 1: A clean, contemporary style in white and blue.Dark graphite finish on Model 2.Available in red, gold, or silver is the Model Two Elite.Model Two Elite Pro — comes with a carry case and storage base. This Limited Edition II has a high collectible finish and is comparable to the Model Two Elite.Model Eleven features a Bluetooth connection, an LED display, and additional accessories. There are four distinct replacement needles available:The hollow needle that comes with Coravin devices is called the Standard Needle. The Premium Needle reduces cork fragments in the wine by having hundreds of tiny holes in it.For bottles with healthy corks, use the broader Faster-Pour Needle.Thinner needles designed for bottles with brittle corks make up the vintage cork needle.

Wine Chiller Elegant Grey Marble Wine Bottle Cooler Keeps Wine and Champagne Cold with Multipurpose Use as Kitchen Utensil Holder and Flower Vase (Grey) Review:

To use in the refrigerator, we bought 2 of them. We keep open bottles in the door, however there have been a few incidents where the bottle has fallen out after someone opened the door too forcefully. This weight is precisely right to make it stable. Although it seems absurd, it works for us in two places!

Stainless Steel Ice Cubes for Wine, Reusable Metal Chilling Stones with Tongs Whisky Rocks Keep Your Drink Cold Longer (Set of 6) Review:

I bought these because I became weary of having to remember to fill my ice trays because I live alone in an apartment without an ice machine. This is ideal for myself, but if you're not solo or have company, you'll probably need ice because there might not be enough ice cubes for everyone. They were cool enough, which was better than I anticipated. The first time I used them, I was astonished to find condensation starting to develop on the glass. The only warning I have is that you need to use them in a glass that will prevent them from flying out while you're trying to grab the last sip and hitting your face or teeth. The form of my wine glass, which is more akin to a water goblet than a wine glass, prevents the stainless steel cubes from striking my teeth when I sip white wine, unlike when I drank some scotch in a lowball glass. Because of that, I suppose I wouldn't use them for scotch or whiskey. And I just use a straw when I use them for non-alcoholic beverages and anything else I can fit in a large glass to completely eliminate the worry that they will strike my teeth.Overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase of these. I'll make ice one final time just in case I ever have a surprise visitor, but aside than that, I'm good to go with them.

Frigidaire FRW1225 Wine Cooler, Black Review:

OMGGGGGG....I appreciate that the fridge arrived undamaged. The box is lovely, and the settings are simple.Although I don't drink, I do like welch sparkling wine.I'll undoubtedly give one to each of my three sisters. Wow, 99 dollars. The thermo started working right away, giving a quick reading of the current temperature, and started cooling down quickly. The fan is also whisper quiet. The wine display is presented in a nice way.A seductive blue glow! You can add soda to it if you don't drink, as I don't.Cyclopentane warnings are printed in huge letters on the product's box and its side, so use caution.Of course, it takes a fridge 24 hours to regulate its temperature completely, so avoid probing it with a thermometer every hour. At 1:15 pm, the temperature was 72; at 8:00 am, when I awoke, it was 46; and it has remained at this temperature or the appropriate setting ever since.Cya

Oggi Double Wall Stainless Wine Cooler Review:

These are the same Oggi "stainless" wine coolers as the two that I already own and purchased over a year ago from another retailer. They undoubtedly have a great appearance and keep the wine chilled, however over time they began to show stains on the bottom where moisture collects. The quantity of these stains was progressively growing, but I was able to remove them with Barkeeper's Friend. They undoubtedly had a rusty appearance but could be cleaned.
