This product is amazing! This product is delicious! You wouldn’t even recognize that it’s vegan if it didn’t say so on the jar!
I always purchase 2 at a time, at a minimum.
I did receive one that had an expiration date a month away from when I received it so I wasn’t extremely happy about that, however, it did give me a reason to cook more recipes using the mayo.
I am Vegan and will continue to purchase this product for as long as it’s online!
Great On Hoagies, Subs....
This is it. This is the one.
I've looked for YEARS for the hot-pepper relish that my favorite sub-house used on their steak-and-cheese sandwich. Nothing has come close. I figured it was something that was home-made.
Today, I live 500 miles away from that restaurant. And I miss those cheesesteaks. So, when I saw this bottle, I though, "I'll give it a try".....and it turned out to be EXACTLY the flavor I was looking for!
So, right now -- as I'm typing this -- I'm eating an incredible steak-and-cheese with sauteed onions, a light swipe of Mayo, a healthy slather of Cento Hoagie Spread, and shredded lettuce....
...and I'm in heaven! So glad to have found this!
Great On Hoagies, Subs....
I don't even know where to begin... words cannot describe the evil.
It was November of last year when I purchased my first jar of drug butter. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. And little did I know- one of the worst.
This innocent little snack transformed into something truly evil. It had taken control of all aspects of my life. I found myself eating entire jars of cookie crack in one sitting, literally devoting time out of my day for cookie butter like it's some kind of an activity. I would bring a jar wherever I went so I could always have my "fix", it was disgusting.
It got to the point where I was hiding jars from myself around the house, and that's when I realized how bad the situation had become- how bad I had let it become. I made the decision to avoid the menace that is cookie butter and I've been clean for 3 months now.
Let this be a warning to all other unsuspecting victims- this stuff is no joke.
Great On Hoagies, Subs....
When we moved from Chicago to the Pacific Northwest our brand of mayo was labeled “Best Foods” instead of “Hellman’s”... same company though. Well my husband insisted that Hellman’s was better. I told him they were the same just different labeling. Not much I could do because they only sold Best Foods in the area. I didn’t believe him anyway. Time went on and I found out I could purchase Hellman’s through Amazon. We did a taste test and he picked Hellman’s... so excited he got his beloved mayo back! So I tasted both. He was right! Big difference in flavor. Hellmans is superior.
Vegemite 220G - Two Pack, Australian Import
While I've never been to Australia, I absolutely love this stuff. A two pack of Vegemite from Amazon is actually cheaper than a single jar from a local store that carries this product. Ordering two (or more) also allows me to have one on hand should I run out.
For those of you who have never had Vegemite, it is a salty spread, not sweet. From the color of this one may assume its chocolate flavor or similar to Nutella. It is not. The flavor is very salty and savory at the same time, meaning, one cannot simple take a spoonful and eat it like they would peanut butter. The flavor is very strong, so if you are trying it for the first time use it sparingly. I like this with butter on toast, cream cheese and bagels/english muffins, as a condiment on sandwiches, a soup additive and even for flavoring rice or vegetables.
It seems to me one loves Vegemite or hates it. I love it, as do many other people. But there are still others (freaks and oddities of this world if you ask me) who hate Vegemite. Vegemite is a yeast extract mixed with other wondrous ingredients. The first time I tried this I wasn't sure I would eat it again. Then 20 minutes later I had a craving for it. I eat this regularly and use more than I probably should. But it tastes amazing, apparently has a ton of vitamin B and it's probably better for me than peanut butter.
Even just writing this makes me want to go eat some Vegemite.

Since I'd never heard of cookie butter before, I decided to give it a try. It's been compared to peanut butter, and I like a peanut butter sandwich with a glass of milk as a late night snack, so the cookie butter would be an alternative. I ordered the Roland brand because the price was nearly half that of the Trader Joe's version online price and since some reviewers liked it better. When it arrived I immediately opened the jar and slowly savored my first bite. It was smooth, delicious and tasted like cinnamon and spice cookie dough. It was, however, slightly gritty on my teeth as it melted in my mouth. NOT A NEGATIVE! The very slight grit gave it more texture -- another pleasant dimension, if you will -- to its mouth-feel. I think that it's a very versatile food product, like peanut butter, so it should have many other uses besides a quick sandwich or spread on toasted muffins. A wide variety of recipes from smoothies to frostings might benefit as well.
While I awaited the 2 days for my Amazon cookie butter order to arrive, I visited my local Walmart and found another brand in the peanut butter section. Lotus Biscoff cookie butter was only $3.29 so I bought it. When I got home I tasted it and ate several spoons full of the creamy goodness. It was my first experience with cookie butter and it was quite pleasant. Spooning it straight from the jar looked like peanut butter. It had the same nutty color, the same smooth consistency and mouth-feel as peanut butter (absolutely no grit) but slightly less dense. The big difference is that peanut butter coats the mouth and takes slightly more time to melt and its nutty flavor lingers longer too.
It was lunch time, so I made a peanut butter and cookie butter sandwich which I devoured in seconds and washed it down with a glass of water. I approved! Then I made another sandwich but this time I spread on a layer of strawberry preserves. That, dear reader, was culinary snack heaven! I devoured 1/3 jar of the Lotus cookie butter before the Amazon order arrived! In the meantime, I tried it with honey (!!!), peach preserves (!!!!), and just a cookie butter sandwich with a glass of cold beer (!!!!!!!!). In my 70 years on this earth I've eaten a lot of snacks with beer but cookie butter is right up at the top of the list with nuts, popcorn and pizza!
Finally, Lotus is darker, smoother, creamier, more spreadable, and more shiny than the more dense consistency of Roland. Their flavor, however, are practically identical IMHO. I'd buy whichever was available or the least expensive. For that matter, if you can find a store brand that costs less, by all means give it a try. Especially, if you have a ravenous household whom can't get enough of the stuff or uses it in lots of recipes. Walmart's Great Value Creamy Speculoos Cookie Butter, 14.1 oz. is just $2.88. So, whichever brand of cookie butter you choose to buy, experiment with it. You'll be glad you did!
Bought this to replace peanut butter for school lunches. And my 6 year old could no even tell the difference. The consistency it’s a little more liquid (just a bit) so I was concern at first, because you know at that age you have an extra food sense. But it actually makes it so much easier to make sandwiches, she even makes them herself without any struggle.
Defined worth the price in my book.

I am that person sitting next to you on the plane that will pretend that you are my sleeping spouse in order to ask the airline attendant for your Biscoff cookies so that you can have it when you wake up. Secretly, I've eaten your Biscoff cookies. Needless to say this cookie spread was everything in life that I needed. I bought two jars under the guise of bringing it to work to 'share'. However, after cracking that bad boy open and taking a teaspoon full of this yummy goodness...I decided that the crunchy one was all mine. Yeah, I ate it. All by myself too. I'm not ashamed. My workmate tried to blow up my spot asking about the second jar, and if I tried the crunchy one yet. I mumbled, and shuffled away. Screw her, trying to shame me into admitting that I ate the whole jar. This stuff is everything that food salivation thoughts are made of. If you bought it, and are thinking that it doesn't agree with you, leave me a message. I'll gladly take it off your hands.

I love mayo on lots of foods most people wouldn't use it on but I got tired of Best Foods cuz it has an overwhelming after taste. My live in guy is from New York where he'll make us made and kept raving about it. I live in San Francisco n couldn't find it anywhere so I did what I always do...go to Amazon and found it. It's amazingly superior to all other brands; rich but light without any odd aftertaste. It costs a lot more but I will always order it cuz I can't go back to inferior flavor.
