This year, I purchased these as stocking stuffers for every member of my family. Bottom Line: A reasonably priced reflective safety vest that gives me the extra visibility I need whether biking in the rain or during the evening. No wear is apparent more than a year later. I'm more than happy with this.For more than a year, I've owned my GripGlo Reflective Safety Vest in Bright Neon Color with 2" Reflective Strips and Orange Trim. I do, however, wear it underneath a back pack, albeit rarely. The vest is put to forces that were probably not intended for it. It isn't showing any indications of wear, in my opinion. I am quite happy with the value I am receiving for my money, if not more. When I am most likely to be wearing it—early dawn, dusk, or wet days—the combination of reflective hues and the double horizontal reflective strips considerably increases my confidence that I will be noticed.I advise you to select a size up so that it will fit over outerwear. Since I usually require it in the cooler months, mine is usually on a jacket.

I bought two of them to wear to my toddler's construction-themed party with my spouse. They performed flawlessly. Despite being lightweight, they are strong. Since then, I've given one to my cousin to use as his hunting-themed Halloween costume, and I intend to save the other for my toddler to use for pretend play. I ordered an XL instead of an L, which would have been my size, after reading numerous reviews on this site. Since this is not a fashion item, it is okay that it is a little large. It's okay if you require XL even though you are a L if you are wearing a jacket.This vest's exceptionally high and excellent reflection is one of its best features. And this is fantastic when you consider the cost.But I only bought this to have something in my car in case I had to make an emergency stop at night. When you drive through a rural area and have to go to the nearest gas station, phone, or other location, it might get pretty dark. Consequently, I have two of them in my car (one for me one for the passenger).A vest for $7 is not the best option if you need one to be worn constantly, such as in construction. If a vest had pockets and cost at least $20, I might think about spending additional money on it.

For the price, this vest is excellent. I purchased this vest to wear while commuting by bicycle, and it significantly improves my visibility during the day and at night. For the past 4.5 months, I have used it every day. Given that they may be worn over any type of clothing in both warm and cold climates, vests are incredibly adaptable.Durability: I've had no issues with the zipper, which is fairly robust. The fabric has a little fraying where my jacket's velcro snags it at the neck and chest, but it doesn't seem to be causing any serious issues. The reflective strips have not peeled off and have remained in place. It is generally rather nicely manufactured.Fit: I typically wear a medium in shirts and coats and fall more in the large than the small range. This was what I wore in the wintertime under a wind- and rain-resistant outer jacket as well as a thick wool top. The large covered them wonderfully; it was fitted but not too tight. I've also layered it over a t-shirt on warm days, and while it is a little loose, it still fits well.Visibility: I am much more noticeable during the day and in other low-light conditions thanks to the bright yellow. The reflective strips, meanwhile, are extremely useful at night and whenever a vehicle's lights are on. The brightness has been attested to even my wife, who cycles with me. Additionally, I've found that fewer cars appear to ignore me when I'm on the road. I urge anyone who rides by bicycle to purchase a vest or jacket with a significant amount of both reflective and bright material. When automobiles aren't shining their lights directly at you, the bright color still helps, and when they are, the reflective strips considerably improve visibility. Don't rely solely on active lighting because big, bright things are easy to position and considerably more attention-grabbing. Wear colorful apparel and turn on the lights.In conclusion, this vest is affordable and quite effective in making you stand out in traffic. Remember that this is just a straightforward hunting vest with two sizable pockets. No game bag, shell holders, or secret pockets. I'm available for a great price, and the quality is excellent. Yes, the size is quite enormous. I had to return an XL since it was too loose for me, even over a jacket, and I am 6'1" and 205 lbs. Even while wearing a jacket, the large fits me well.
