Aterox DJI Mavic Pro / Platinum Gimbal Lock Camera Guard Protector Transport Fixed Lens Cover Accessories (Transparent Gray) Review:

This is a top-notch item! My biggest complaint with the original factory Mavic gimbal lock was that it could be challenging to set it so that it won't come loose during transit of the UAV, rattle about, and possibly harm the camera. This two-in-one gimbal lock/cover is incredibly simple to operate. This is a one-click system that lines up perfectly with the ridge on the camera and glides easily in, unlike the lock and cover that DJI provides.Installation and deinstallation take only a handful of seconds, as opposed to the several minutes it can take to get the factory cover and lock aligned.Additionally, I've also bought this updated sun hood and gimbal shield from the same business (available at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078FWHLPG). It is completely invisible to the camera while filming in any mode, not even sport mode, and performs a fantastic job of blocking sunflares. I use the gimbal lock for storage and this for flying on a daily basis.I've returned the standard components to their original storage box and will be utilizing this going forward.

Heiyrc Gimbal Mounting Plate for DJI Phantom 3 Standard,Replacement Anti-Vibration Shock Absorbing Board Holder Rubber Damper Anti-drop Pin Accessory Review:

The antenna wires could have been fished through the new components, but it was difficult to figure out how to detach them. Although there are films on You Tube that I found helpful, that would be a good addition to the product's documentation. It all functions properly. It's good to know in case my P3 crashes again.

RC GearPro Foldable Smartphone iPads Tablets Monitor Sunshade Sun Hood Cover for DJI Mavic Air/Pro/Spark/Phantom 3 4 Pro/Inspire 1 2 / Osmo and Other RC Drones Remote Controller Sun Shield (L200) Review:

For my iPad, I purchased the largest sunshade, and it worked perfectly. The bands that keep it on give me a little anxiety, but only time will tell. The walls resemble a thin sheet of binder material (vinyl coated cardboard). folded flat. ideal for the task. It is highly adjustable and secure according to my needs. Even the smallest change can have a significant impact.

UZOPI Mavic Air Pro Platinum Spark Tablet Holder – Aluminum Adjustable Remote Controller Accessories Bracket Mount Extender with Neck Lanyard Strap for 4-12 Inch Phone Tablets Review:

For me, a tablet holder was the missing piece, and it really enhanced my drone experience.I had to learn the hard way that using my iPhone 7 to frame photographs while flying my Mavic Pro was like peering through a keyhole. It was hard to impossible to frame photos effectively. This tablet stand makes it simple to combine my iPad Pro and the controller into a single, manageable device. For flying the drone and taking images while standing or moving, it makes the ideal package. For me, operating the drone with this tablet holder and my iPad Pro is like peering through a large picture window to view what the camera sees. What a difference, wow! What I enjoy:—High-quality material that feels pleasant and solid.—Easy to put together.—Allows me to focus on flying and on my shots by holding my iPad and controller in one device.—An excellent design that was well consideredWhat I objected to:—No assembly instructions; you must figure it out on your own. (Hint: for assistance, visit YouTube.)—When I opened the package, I was (incorrectly) sure that what they sent was not what I bought.I really must have this. It drastically altered my drone-flying experience, making it so much better and easier that it was well worth many times the price.

Skyreat Upgrade Aluminum-Alloy 4-12 Inches Foldable Tablet Ipad Mount Holder with Metal Nut Ring for Mavic Mini, Mavic 2 Pro,Mavic 2 Zoom/Mavic Air/Pro/DJI Spark Remote Controller Review:

Let's start with the advantages and disadvantages.Advantages: * Has an eagle's grip on the device it holds. * Breaks down quickly and easily. * Stores readily. * Fits snugly in the Mavic Controller. Works flawlessly with the iPad Mini (Will explain this later)* Can serve as both a paper weight and a weapon to fend off anti-drone enthusiasts (as most things these day can be too)Meh CONS: I had to look far and wide to locate them... Not available in white or gunmetal, only in black. But while to me this is not a significant concern, it might be to others.* Even though it works well for both big phones and little tablets. Even after being compressed, it still moves. (However, it remains in place.) If you tighten the stand while holding an iPad mini, you will see that the stand will continue to swivel. There will be resistance, but it won't be so tight that you can't move it. This might be a problem or not, but if you're using a heavier tablet, it might be. In my opinion, this is not a problem because mounting an iPad Pro 11 or 12.9 on this would be like mounting a spoiler on a Geo Metro automobile.* A larger tablet or an iPad Mini does obscure the remote screen. However, the mobile device can also access the same information. To avoid blocking your view of your buttons, I would simply keep track of how they are organized in my memory. If you position the table correctly, you can still slightly tilt it to view the screen, but larger tables make this more difficult (Bigger than Mini) happy luckThe following drawbacks were actually something I had to look for in order to compile a list of drawbacks that, while unimportant to me, might be important to someone else. There are now two copies of this floating around on Amazon. There is the current version, which has a metal nut, and the original, which had a plastic nut. If you are only using it for a phone and not any other heavier devices, I would suggest the plastic nut. I would suggest the metal nut for heavy gadgets like tablets. Choose the Metal Nut version if you're having trouble picking; you won't regret it.Summary and conditionIt's a Keeper and does what it's supposed to.It appears to be sturdy, and altogether, it's a fantastic product that meets the demand for the ability to utilize a device bigger than what fits in the Mavic's remote.I give it five stars and would advise purchasing this item.

Skyreat Mavic Mini Air Pro Foldable Aluminum Metal 4-12" Ipad Tablet Mount Holder for Dji Mavic 2 Pro, Mavic 2 Zoom/Mavic Pro/Mavic Air,Spark Accessories Remote Controller Review:

Its use of aluminum is something I like. It is extremely efficient and has a small storage footprint. Although the big plastic nut was broken, you only need to tighten it just enough to prevent the tablet from moving. The folding arm attachment points won't remain firm, which is the only problem I've encountered so far after 6 months of use. The screws remain snug, however I believe the problem is with worn points. Before mounting the arm, I can apply some blue Loctite to the screw or even wrap copper wire around it. After folding and extending the arms a few dozen times, everything ultimately becomes loose again. It's challenging to find a small plastic washer, which I would like to attempt. I would be happy to offer it five stars if I could resolve this problem permanently.

Anbee Foldable Aluminum Tablet Stand Cell Phone Holder with Lanyard Support Crystal Sky Monitor Compatible with DJI Mavic 2 / Mavic Pro/Mini/Mavic Air/Spark Drone Remote Controller, Red Review:

The device is quite nicely manufactured, and the overall design is decent. The tablet's spring-loaded gripping grip, however, is too small, and the tablet can easily wiggle out of the tiny grips that are designed to keep it in place. The tablet needs to be retained somehow in order to avoid it possibly falling out of the holder. The tablet holding clamp is composed of plastic and uses springs to hold the tablet in place, despite the unit's aluminum body. It appears that the tablet attachment was not finished to the same standard as the aluminum base. The controller's potential separation from the aluminum frame is yet another source of concern. I have to make sure everything is secure all the time since it is not as secure as it should be. I don't want to misplace the tablet or the controller.

Powerextra 4-12 Inch Adjustable Extender Tablet Holder Mount with Neck Lanyard Strap Compatible with DJI Mavic Mini, Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom, DJI Spark/Mavic Pro/Mavic Air Remote Control Review:

Fits flawlessly, is lightweight, snugly holds your phone or tablet, and can be positioned in a variety of ways to avoid obstructing the telemetry display on the RC itself, which is very cool. I use it for the Mavic Pro Platinum, and I have to admit that it feels much nicer to have the FPV view above the remote than than in the RC handles (in my opinion). At first appearance, it appears somewhat "cheap," but I can assure you that it is actually manufactured fairly well for the price, especially the springs in the holder section. While the frame that surrounds the pause/5D buttons does not restrict their use in any way, some individuals may feel that it does. You should have no trouble using those functionalities as you normally would if you just center it evenly on the outer margins of each button. If you intend to use carry cases with molded slots for planes, remotes, batteries, and other accessories, then plan on carrying it separately outside the case as I wouldn't consider it "compact" for simple mobility. Not a huge deal to me, but once more (my opinion). Since you're likely carrying a tablet and all the gizmos that go with it if you're buying something of this kind, portability and compactness are probably not major concerns.
