Finding these kinds of batteries for the equipment I was trying to use was exceedingly challenging, at least for me. I was attempting to use a door sensor that used Z-wave technology. Fit nicely in a 2008 Yamaha Grizzly 600; the cables' method of attachment is my only gripe. A bolt is intended to pass through the cable's eye, down through the terminal block hole, thread into the little nut, pull it up, and secure the cable to the block.It is challenging to get the nut under the block, and once you do (without losing it inside the battery case), you must get it lined up with the hole since there is too much play between the nut and the block. Once you have it there, you must strike it straight with the bolt to begin the threading. The bolt is too short if you have extra cable eyes like I do from the wench. Connecting the cables makes up 99% of the installation, which is tedious.For the manufacturer: The battery would be excellent if the nut were permanently fastened to the block.

The battery was different from the one that was removed from the atv. I can alter the atv to make it function, so it's not a big concern for me. The battery was too short, so I simply raised it by placing some packing foam underneath it. The original battery holder was rendered useless because it was a little broader, so I constructed one out of flat stock. Overall, it's a fantastic value for the money; however, be careful to read the dimensions before placing your order.

This battery is well made and attractive, and once it is installed in a scooter, it should serve me well. It contains strong, reliable connectors that make it simple to attach leads securely. Time will tell if it will last, but it's too early to completely assess that. Without a doubt, it offers good value for the money. By thinking outside the box, this battery might also be used for other dc voltage-required tasks where installation space is not a concern. The idea of using it as a backup battery for an alarm system or simply as a 12 volt direct current source on your workbench for research or testing comes to mind. Due to the battery's glass-packed internal structure, which makes it durable and low maintenance, it can withstand tipping over. To maintain viability and guarantee longevity if used for anything other than in the vehicle it was intended for, it would require topping off by one of those tiny low amp trickle chargers.

I assumed that the product would be just what I wanted, but it turned out to be smaller than I had anticipated. I suppose this is because I didn't read the description well. But since returning it would have cost more than what I had paid for it, I decided to keep it because it was the ideal size for another purpose. I ordered this battery at the beginning of December, and the first one that was sent was cracked and leaking. I tried to give it a decent review, but Amazon rejected it for "policy reasons."After I filed a complaint, Amazon quickly sent me a replacement batter (this one), which I received within a few days.My Champion generator, which had been unable to start with the electric starter for at least a year, started right away after I fitted the battery. This tiny battery has a lot of cranking power, so I'm happy with it so far.The battery showed a reading of 14V right out of the box when I put it on a reader. It now receives a trickle solar charge while it is mounted in my generator and continues to start the machine even in temps as low as 20 degrees F.I recycled the cracked battery as requested because Amazon didn't want it.Overall, I'm happy.~Dave

Even with the unplugging/plugging technique, the battery lasted for two and a half years before the FiOS device started to beep continuously.The battery, however, has a new home in my APC UPS (ES-550) and is still operational—at least as of this writing. I chose to install this battery that the FiOS unit considered unsatisfactory because the UPS has needed a new battery for a few months (its beeping may be turned off).Though it doesn't power anything in the FIOS device, the batteries is well worth the price. However, it would be wonderful if it could last longer there.Updated on 7/12/17: I gave 5 stars instead of 4. The more recent battery in my FIOS unit had to be replaced recently (it only lasted 20 months this time), but the earlier battery—which is now almost 4 years old—is still functioning perfectly in my APC. I don't know how the FIOS device uses batteries so quickly, but I can't blame the battery for that.

To replace an old battery that had failed over the winter, this was purchased. The cost is excellent. I paid less than $40 for this battery at the time of purchase. This battery has 180 CCA. Since that information was nowhere to be found on the Amazon site, I decided to mention it in my review. This battery fits my bike perfectly and is accurate to the quoted specs.Although the LCD seems a bit excessive, it is actually quite useful. Over 13V was used to completely charge this battery. It started straight up when I put it in my SV. To be sure there are no issues, I shut it down and restarted it several times.The packaging was adequate for a battery that compact and light. It comes with a manual that primarily explains how to operate the LCD and is housed in Styrofoam on the top and bottom.The battery posts not being threaded is the only thing I would modify. The battery cables can be fastened to them using the square nut that is provided within the post. Depending on where you put the nut, you can screw into the top or the side. The cable tends to hop around a little bit, especially while it's being put into the bike, so my only challenge was getting the nut to sit firmly within the post so I could screw it down.In either case, this battery seems to be excellent. In addition to keeping it on a tender now when not in use, I intend to get a long life out of it. If I ever have an issue with it, I'll update this review. Excellent purchase. Try it out.
