It is much simpler to transport food home from the store with this excellent, big basket. I used to have to hang my bags from my mobility scooter's seat back, armrests, and tiller handles. I still hang two canvas bags from the back of the seat, but I can stuff five or six plastic bags into the basket if I put non-crushable items in the bottom bags.Though I did run into a small issue getting the bolts to screw into the front mounting bracket, my cordless drill's Phillips bit took care of the issue. Because the receiver on the back of my scooter is only a little over 4" deep, I also had to shorten the square tubing that goes into it. I simply cut the tube and drilled new safety pin holes.This is a solid, reliable basket all around. To avoid running into objects when turning or reversing, you do need to keep in mind that it is back there.

I'm so glad I came across this basket! My Drive Medical Odyssey GT has a lovely big basket thanks to the modifications I made to the scooter. There is so much space in this basket that I can complete all of my weekly supermarket shopping. It's also wonderful and deep. Depending on the contents of the bags, the accompanying baskets for scooters are often very small and can only take two to three supermarket bags at most. Ten grocery bags can fit in the large back basket! You will adore this jewel if you're looking for a basket that can serve you well! I no longer have to make two, sometimes even three journeys to the grocery shop thanks to this. That's significant to me because it takes a scooter a 30-minute round trip before I can go shopping. I estimate that I save a minimum of two hours. With this durable basket, I am utterly happy. It will undoubtedly be useful to me for many years to come. Due to my difficulty walking, I've had a Pride Go-Go Elite Traveler 3-wheel model for about 10 years. Since I've owned my scooter, I've had to have the original battery pack's individual batteries from the store where I bought it once replaced. The original dealer was acquired by a different business that neither offered go go elite transporter scooters nor battery packs. I wanted a new battery pack before my previous one fully ran out of juice because I had been told that the average lifespan of these battery packs is 3 years, however this can vary depending on usage, how well the battery is maintained, and how often the fuses are changed. I was confident that I had chosen the ideal battery pack for my scooter. The battery pack (batteries included and fuse) amazed me with how nicely it made my scooter ride like it was brand new. The battery pack box was really functional. I can now enjoy my scooter even more without worrying about running out of battery power up to a distance of roughly 9 miles thanks to the new battery pack. Great at charging as well.

I've given this a good amount of consideration, and it seems to be a well-made product that would meet most purposes. I haven't installed it yet, and I probably won't. I like the high-ball or old-fashioned, which are normally short glasses, for drinks in between meals. Mine simply sits in the bottom "pan," not being firmly kept in place, as I am not tall enough to engage the top restriction.I give it four stars for the apparent build quality,

The basket is 9 inches tall and has dimensions of 21 x 15 inches at the top and 18 x 12 inches at the bottom. It includes a clevis pin and a locking knob. Four phillips-head screws (1/4 x 20) and a T-shaped bracket and another bracket to secure the basket in place are also provided. It is a good fit on my scooter and will let me travel with my numerous luggage and oxygen supplies. The short bar on the T-shaped bracket was not tapped for the screws, which was my issue with this transaction. The screws could not turn after the holes were bored. I needed to locate a machinist who could tap the two holes so that the supplied screws would fit. To fix this product, it cost me $15 and three hours of my time. Unhappy about that.

The poncho I mentioned in my Drive Scout Scooter review is this one. It protects the tiller, keeping the electronics dry, as well as the chair and battery below. The opening for my head is a touch too tiny, but that's the only issue. But nothing a pair of scissors won't take care of. The cost is reasonable.

I read about the bigger ones, but this is the large, not extra huge, so it doesn't knock into things when you turn. I've discovered that I virtually always use this when I use the scooter. I've learned that even if I'm pressed for time, it's best to just take an extra two minutes to connect the basket. I have to hold it AND operate the scooter if I decide to make a last-minute purchase while I'm out. That is a hassle! My small pocketbook and a drink can fit in the scooter's somewhat modest front basket, but that's about it. I can put my enormous bag of popcorn back there now that I can go to the theater. Definitely a wise investment.
