I was quite interested in learning how this product differed from scratch removers I had previously tried. I noticed it had a black/gray hue as soon as I opened the bottle to apply it to my automobile. Given that it IS for black vehicles, it seemed appropriate. After carefully washing it with a cloth, I instantly observed that there was no white residue and streaks left behind. It's a big victory, that. There was still no sign of white streaking the following day. I recently succeeded in leaving a very noticeable scratch on my wife's brand-new Lexus. Now, she didn't fully back her car into the garage, so I'm not entirely to blame for this. I attempted to polish the area using a scratch-removal chemical before realizing that more harsh measures would be required. I looked online and found various videos for this product, so I decided to test it. Wow is all I have to say.I started using the provided sanding pad after carefully reading the instructions and making sure the area was clean and free of any surface dirt. I moved with a feathering technique while keeping water on the pad continuously. The scratch was gone after drying the area several times (OK, more like four), and what was left was a huge hazy swirly mess. The murky, swirly mess was rapidly reduced to a patch that merely appeared to require polishing with the help of the rubbing compound. That's exactly what I did as well. The scratch was gone and it was as if it had never happened after I followed the directions and flipped the buffing pad over and applied the polishing compound to the affected area.

I have a lot of Meguair products because I genuinely like them—probably more than the average detail shop. The lengthy, chilly winters where I live in the northeast. Additionally, there is a lot of snow in my venue, which has covered the roads with a ton of salt. As a result, I make an effort to keep my car "reasonably" clean whenever I can. March has come, which means there are much more opportunities. I enjoy Quik Detailer products in general, but they shouldn't be used to get rid of a lot of filth and grime. They perform best on surfaces that are only mildly contaminated, nevertheless. Why did I purchase this specific detailer? I first bought it as a result of excellent experiences with other Meguiar items. It also has carnauba, which is necessary for the deepest shine. Because it atomizes into a very fine mist, application is simple. I use a synthetic, double-sided cleaning and buffing cloth with a rather deep pile. This is the compound I will now always use because I finally got around to trying it. There were a few minor hairline scratches on my automobile. My 911 has a lot of fiberglass bodywork, and two years ago the entire vehicle was resprayed. The scratches were noticeable under the bright parking garage lighting. Over the past two years, I've used an orbital buffer, 3M compound, and a variety of waxes, but nothing seems to be able to remove these bothersome little hairline scratches. Since I've been a longtime user of their leather care lotion, I decided to try GRIOTS 10862.I manually administered this substance using a cotton applicator. I used a back-and-forth motion to apply it (not in circular swirls). The outcome was a deep crimson glossy sheen after I applied a small bit and just rubbed back and forth till the compound ultimately disappeared. I was totally amazed by this. Most minor scratches (98%) have been removed, and other sections that were slightly "foggy" have been brought up to their full deep glossy potential. I gave it a go on the back bumper and was so impressed that I finished the ENTIRE car by hand, spending countless hours perfecting my paint. Even if you have to do it manually and by hand rather than using a machine, car people will understand the thrill of highlighting flaws and making your paint shine.In conclusion, this chemical is fantastic. provides a deep sheen and eliminates scratches, imbedded road grime, hazy and foggy areas. I also used it to polish my headlights, which had some scratches on them. Autos are my thing. I've used every product in the 3M range and have been pleased with them all, but I couldn't be happier with this. I've been painting vehicles as a hobby and pastime for almost 18 years. Awesome!

I purchased this kit for my recently acquired 1988 Bayliner centre console, which appeared to have not been polished in quite some time. The colour in the boat really stood out from the moment the oxidation remover was applied. Since I usually only compound and wax my car, I was tempted to forgo the polish, but I ultimately decided to go for it. I compared regions that had been compounded with parts that had been polished side by side, and the difference was like night and day. The polish enhanced the blues and whites on my boat's hull. It was ordered three days ago and arrived today, as promised. It was properly double boxed and wrapped in a tonne of bubble wrap. In contrast to my fears based on previous evaluations, there were no leaks or damages. I haven't given my Buick's interior any thought in a long time. closer to a year. These cloths produced a stunning, extremely even sheen while also removing dirt and grime. They had a strong coconut scent, which surprised me (maybe it says it on the package and I missed it). My car has the aroma of one that is about to receive a base tan. But everything appears to be brand-new! The glossy ones really leave a nicer, more polished finish than the matte finish ones that I previously used but unintentionally purchased. A fraction of the cost and none of the frustration of a pricey inside job at the car wash. Use the wipe to clean any interior chrome before shining it up right away with a paper towel (or an extra napkin from your glove box!). Otherwise, I believe the product would have left a milky film on the chrome. Conclusion: fantastic product, like you heard on the coconut telegraph!

I have used this product in the past to remove all types of severe scratches from the plexiglass windscreens inside the flight simulators that I work on, but until I read the excellent review that was posted with the detailed instructions and pictures, I had never considered using it on my severely hazed out 15-year-old car headlamp lens. Like other people have said, I also did not receive all of the advertised products. I got two of the glass cleaners instead of the Extreme Tire and Shine. Given that I still received the other Tire goods, it's not a big deal. I adore Armor All, and my favorites are the cleaner and protectant. They aid in cleaning and preventing fading of your black vinyl and plastic. As someone who currently resides in Southern California, protecting the interior of my automobile from UV rays is essential. Overall rating of 4. Would have been 5 if I had gotten all the advertised goods.
