We recently bought a PS4 stand to place in the living room for our PS4. We wanted something a little quieter when seeking to purchase a second PS4 stand for the PS4 in our theater room because the fan is a touch noisy. This was the ideal solution. As you can hear in the video, the fan is hardly audible at best. Additionally, I adore how the chargers function on this stand. The controller must be turned upside down on our other stand, and there is no indication that it is even charging. When you connect in the controller to this stand, it actually notifies you that charging has started, which is a huge benefit. A bright green light indicates that the controller is charging. Another benefit is that it is totally powered by the PS4, which means there is one fewer item that needs to fit on the power strip. Although there is room on the side to store games, I don't need it because I already have so many. I have 72 games, but it only fits 12, so there isn't enough room for them all, hehe! The item is nice for the price, in my opinion (if not on the edge of being great based on value). It appears to be extremely nicely made, closely matches the item description, is lightweight but not cheaply produced, and most importantly, does the intended function. The ability to alter the stand's height and angle is really helpful, the multi-fan settings are quite practical, and the colorful feature is a lovely little extra that gives it a little personality despite being nothing more than a nice, aesthetically pleasing touch. So far, I have very few issues or "cons" to mention, but if there is one that stands out, it is that my computer tends to slide downward rather than remain steady when the stand is set to its greatest level (steepest downward angle). By placing a rubber liner matt under my computer, I was able to minimize the problem while still allowing the fan to function properly and prevent my laptop from overheating.Overall, I'm happy with the outcome. Although I wouldn't go so far as to say that it exceeded my expectations, it has met them in every manner, and that is what ultimately matters in my opinion. Sincerely speaking, I didn't have high hopes. The cost seems incredibly modest. To conserve space, I mostly just wanted to turn my PS4 vertical.I was now pleasantly surprised by the high-quality analogue stick covers that were offered. My favorite PS4 feature is the fan mode for cooling the console. My PS4 would make noise when playing some games, making me worry that it would overheat. While the fan is still audible, it is far quieter than the PS4's scream, and I feel more secure playing PS4 Pro HDR-compatible games as a result.I'll also be using the additional USB port that it offers. My kid used to unplug my charging controller so he could charge his phone, but that won't be necessary anymore. Terrific product at a great price that delivers on its promises.

This fan runs efficiently. I don't know why folks claim otherwise (unless you got a bad one, it happens.) My PS4 was so loud and sounded like it was about to explode that I had to acquire this. It also said "ps4 is too hot" and would turn its light red. But to be really honest, since I've had this fan attached for a month, I've had zero issues. with anything, at all. It only presses against the PS's back, which isn't a very strong hold, but as long as you don't fiddle with it, it should stay. My PS4 is no longer overheating, and it no longer sounds like it's about to blow up. (P.S. I'm trying to play the most recent games on an older version of my PS, which I believe was released a year or two ago. (For instance, Metal Gear, Monster Hunter, Star Wars, and COD.) I was concerned because several people had complained that it didn't fit. However, after watching a YouTube video, it appeared that perhaps just a tab had been constructed incorrectly; it happens. Return it for an exchange; Amazon is typically very considerate of their customers. I only came up one nasty video regarding the tabs not fitting. Everyone else, great videos, many!A side note: It's summer, my fans are running, and I could hear my PlayStation 4 start up over them. I cannot hear this over my fans at all, and if I can, it is very small, so I am unaware of it. Therefore, you might be able to hear the 5 fans running if your air conditioner is particularly quiet. I went up to my machine a few times to check the temperature and felt the top and back, but I didn't hear anything other than my silent cylindrical fan (those fairly quiet cooler fans.) But I wanted to be fair here for those who reside in extremely calm areas.

I took my time writing my review. I've owned the product for about 6 months now. It complies with all of my requests. I can now charge my controllers while I play, and my PS4 no longer gets really hot. If I can't find a brick for the wall, I can even charge my phone using the USB ports on the front. The slots comfortably fit the games, and the feet kept everything level.It doesn't HOLD the PS4, thus I deducted one star for that reason alone. In the slot made specifically for it, the PS4 simply rests on top. It will fall if your dog, cat, or wildebeest runs past. Now that my PS4 is housed in a wood and glass entertainment center, which is why I wanted a cooling stand, I don't know if that makes it or breaks it for me. However, if you require something that will restrain your PS4, this won't do it.

The only issue was that Turbo and Auto were inverted on mine (Turbo = Auto and Auto = Turbo). those that carry out their duties. Since there truly isn't anything better on the market for cooling a PS4 slim, this accomplishes its goal without adding unnecessary bulk. With fans pumping cool air in from the bottom and my PS4 Slim mounted on a vertical stand, this device sits on the very top or back of the stand and draws hot air out.The one thing I don't know for sure is how long the fans will operate. But even if it simply reduces the temperature of your PS4 by a few degrees, it's still worth it because it's so inexpensive.
