I adore this so much! I carry this for backpacking, hiking, fishing, and hunting. This can save a life. With the exception of the fuel, all parts fit inside of it comfortably. In just one minute, water literally boils! I use it to prepare hot cocoa, MREs, cup o' noodles, and coffee. Another fantastic feature is that Walmart sells the necessary fuel. I advise purchasing the gadget that makes using a soup pot or frying pan easier. Additionally, that collapses and fits inside the jetboil. I've used this outfit on two lengthy snowshoe excursions and one strenuous day walk, and I adore it. particularly after using a sterno stove for so long. I'm not always good at playing with others, so it works best for one person. The "Piezo" starter initially failed to function. It started to operate once I arrived home, in a more controlled setting, and has been working perfectly ever since. That was my fault. Before leaving, I should have set up the stove and tested everything. I would guess that there was some sort of industrial residue that needed to be removed even though I don't know for sure. The fuel control on the stove operates as it should and the stove is beautifully crafted. The difference between this stove and the more expensive one my daughter uses was insignificant. The tiny orange tripod is definitely a plus. If not supported, the little fuel containers that I tote might become unstable when carrying the weight of a full pot or pan. The pot is ideal for a Ramen "brick." They are simple to clean, and the handles offer a secure method to hold them. I've been warned about using a dishwasher to clean the pans. I can't comment on that in any way, but I'll heed their counsel. A wise purchase that came in a day earlier than expected! Camping is fun!!!

For our very first camping/backpacking trip, we bought this. We primarily use it to boil water for our camp meals, and it did so flawlessly. It took a few tries to get the burner unit's built-in igniter to work at first. There was a spot where there was barely enough fuel flow to light the burner. We eventually mastered it after some practice. Depending on the meals we would prepare in the future, we might trim it down to simply the bigger pot and kettle. The smaller pan was used for eating by my wife. To make packing easier, take care when disassembling the package. The insulated mugs worked well for both our nightly Fireball and our morning coffee. This cook set is ideal for a two-person, multi-night camping trip and is conveniently portable. It might easily be reduced to a cup, a burner, a kettle, and possibly some utensils for light travelers. If not, the entire kit is still valuable. The addition of measurement marks on the kettle would be fantastic.

This is a wonderful little kit for the price. It's not particularly tough; it almost seems like a camping equipment for children. The three little "bowls" each hold one cup. The miniature bowls fit perfectly in the toy plastic ladle. Although the short wood spatula needs to be oiled to last, I absolutely appreciate it. The medium pot, which has a capacity of 4 cups, is ideal for the 3 cup soups I prepare for supper. The little pot can contain two cups, making it ideal for my 16-ounce cup of coffee. Additionally, they include dimensions on the inside, which is useful. These burners are said to function well and come packaged in a very useful small plastic box to prevent them from damaging your pots. You'd have a fine little set if you added one of those silicone foldable bowls, a travel mug, and a spork. Heck, even a Taco Bell spork would significantly enhance this modest little set.After using the stove, I can say that it functions reasonably well, if sputterily. The piezo ignition also functions, however it takes a while. I appreciate the small orange box that the stove fits into because it is difficult to lose in the grass. On the interior bottom of one of the pots was a poor finish. They responded to my email within a few hours and promised to send me another pot right away. Even though it would take a few weeks to arrive, the service was still good. In the interim, I purchased a collapsible bowl and cup that essentially filled the bill as well.

I looked at a ton of possibilities when selecting a cooking equipment for our next camping trip. I finally decided on this one because it comes with a pot and pan, serving as both a bowl for eating and a lid to speed up cooking. It included a stove so I didn't have to buy one separately, as well as a stainless coffee cup. The only thing I added was a clip-on silicone strainer, which does fit inside the kit, to the packaging. A kettle was crucial to my choice of camping equipment because I enjoy drinking tea while I'm outside. At first, I was a little put off by the cost. I cleaned the cookware before departing for my trip, so I don't really care if it was unclean when it arrived (which you should do even if you get them new btw).
