I can't express how much I adore these brushes enough. These are the greatest brushes I've used to glaze my ceramics after trying many others. They don't lose their hair on your work like hake brushes do and hold a lot of glaze, which is what I was hoping for. I love this brush. I got it, however the packaging wasn't as as good as I had hoped. It was essentially a long sheet of folded-over cardboard with curled-over bottom and top edges. It was then merely held together with glue rather than tape, which was at the very least odd for Amazon. Two days after placing my order, my free trial of Prime arrived, and it was absolutely FREE! On to the brush now! This brush is of incredible quality. Only a few minutes after being removed from the constricted packing, the hairs took on their final round shape. On the copper gilding jobs I do, it worked beautifully. When I use gold on it, I'll write another review, but for now, that's all I have to say. However, this brush gets a lot of use out of it and saves a ton of money.

My experience has taught me that simply glancing at brushes that have been taken straight out of the packaging and have bonded bristles does not indicate anything. In spite of the seller's request for almost instant feedback, I realized that the real test would be putting them through the rigors of painting and cleaning even though they arrived looking really beautiful with no splayed or damaged pieces. I have used a variety of sizes a few times over the course of a few weeks, but they have withstood my use and have thus far behaved well. As others before me have said, I've owned a lot of more costly brushes, but none of them performed nearly as well with the same amount of use. When some reward points start to accrue, I am eager to get a new set, this one for my oils.

These pens have a somewhat irregular water flow. possesses less control than other options I've tested. However, they work well for sketching and are adequate for such a large pack. I appreciate the diversity; I don't often see the larger wash brushes among their rivals. I believe Arteza needs to address the flow issue.
