Actually bought the item to use for a Halloween Terra Cotta pot painting project at work. However, since my son enjoys coloring and painting, I allowed him to practice on some garden pebbles. His small hands worked perfectly once the paint was on the marker's tip. When used, paint didn't gush out and dried rapidly. So far, I've used these paint pens on porcelain, glass, cork, rock, and other materials. The fine point is a nice size for writing and drawing, and I particularly like the colors. The fact that they are oil-based paint pens, not water-based, is what makes them magical. my notes are below. There are many different paint pens available for crafters, which might be confusing. These extremely fine paint markers are wonderful. I struggled to paint fine details and intricate designs on terra cotta pots when I used paint markers with somewhat larger tips. I had problems using fine brushes, so I started painting terracotta pots with foam brushes, both large for painting vast areas and small blotter-type foam brushes for painting smaller areas.I discovered from reading the reviews of these markers that some people had issues with too much flow, but I also discovered that if you dab extra paint, you WILL obtain fine and accurate colors where you want them.You will like these markers if you desire a paint marker that will provide precise and elaborate paint application. The metallic markers are gorgeous!The markers are easy to hold, have lovely colours, and function properly. It's good to have an affordable, high-quality product. My young child likes to write and draw with the markers on construction paper and has also used them to make drawings on rocks. Due to the amount of ink they require and the fact that pebbles are porous, markers aren't the ideal option. I am constantly looking for new art supplies. I didn't even give it a second thought before purchasing Arteza brush pens during a flash sale on Amazon. The brushes came in a set of 96, offering almost all the colors and shades a painter could need; I was surprised, though, by the dearth of neutral greys. I looked for tips on how to highlight raised symbols on a rubberized surface on youtube. For them, it was tire writing; for me, it was the controls on a blue-tooth speaker box. The tiny point on this pen was ideal for the small symbols on the box. To make it simpler, I utilized a visor with magnifying glasses. To get the paint to flow, you must shake the pen with the cap on before inserting the spring-loaded tip and using it like you would a pen. As with any typical oil-painted surface, allow to dry.

Superb value! I can think of a lot of applications for them. For several different applications, the tips' decent medium thickness was ideal. They were used to adorn pumpkins. The ink held up flawlessly through daily outdoor sprinkler showers, extreme heat, and cold. Normally, I'm highly sensitive to smells, however these didn't have the overpowering chemical smell that most paints have. Before letting the kids use them, I had to shake and dip each one to get it going, but that is standard for paint markers, so it wasn't a big deal.
