Okay, so I used to wear this light pink t-shirt to college parties, but one night misfortune struck when I was at a party and someone stumbled into me, spilling their full red solo cup of red wine down my front. My 15-year-old favorite duvet cover was preserved thanks to this! I've been struggling with this stain for the past nine to ten years. It might have been coffee. The stain "mirrored" onto a previously clean area, so I must have treated it with a pre-treater at some time and put it in the washing pile. It was cleaned, packed, and transported. The discoloration came back after I opened the package. I have used traditional laundry detergents such borax, washing soda, dawn, lemon juice, salt, vinegar, baking soda, fels naptha, zote, oxy powders, and peroxide. I also have a laundry ozonator (which I love).... I even invested in an ultrasonic dental cleaning device and spent hours using it to remove this stain. With the aforementioned methods and multiple soaks, it was 95–98% gone. Did I mention how much I adore this duvet, which is made of thick egyptian cotton and is solid IVORY? Bleach was the only item I opted NOT to use.The stain progressively comes back every several months. In order to notice the spots, I sprayed it with puracy while it was on the bed, and I let it sit overnight. In the morning, I gave it another spritz, and I gave it another hour or two to sit. These spots were quickly transformed into a brighter and darker yellow area by the puracy (I imagined it was "functioning"). Back to the washer, long wash, overnight soak, rewash, and rinse with an enzyme-based powdered detergent. A second wash was performed using HOT water, 1C ammonia, and oxy powder. Rinse, rinse, rinse after a thorough wash and an overnight soak. The spot has disappeared! I will update this review and withdraw if it later makes a little comeback, but as far as I'm concerned, my duvet has been spared! It still looks just as stunning as the day I bought it!One year later: The stain has been completely removed!

I'll set the scene for this lengthy assessment now. I'm identifying as CP phobic (cat pee phobic). Though it's not yet a recognized illness, I'm working on a patent. I'll skip the specifics since I plan to create a book I'll later discuss with Dr. Oz that will go into more detail on the causes of my CP phobia and everything else that is wrong with my life. Cats were around me when I was a child, and because my parents weren't home, they urinated everywhere with no effort made to clean it up. As a result, the scent of cat poop triggers intense anxiety, rage, and other negative emotions. A tiny kitty followed me into a 7-11 in 2002. She was nice but definitely abandoned, and if left in this convenience store's busy parking lot, her days were surely numbered. I left with a Diet Coke, a pack of Marlboro lights, and a kitten on this gorgeous winter day. All three of those things were going to make my health worse.In 2017, this same cat is still living with me. Even though I'm only 34, I almost certainly won't outlive this cat. I will never own another cat after this one. She made the decision to begin urinating on the carpet because of her advanced age, attitude, and perhaps political beliefs. I look up "life span of indoor cats" right away on Google. I understood that I only have two years or possibly five remaining. Then, after spending a lot of money on a diagnostic that my cat is healthy and a brat, I take this 11-pound ball of fur to the clinic. We hate each other when we get home. The urination keeps going. Here's what I did when she was still alive and I was a little more out of it than before. As I copy and paste this review to all the businesses that are accountable for enabling this cat to currently live out her natural life with me, I will list a number of products.Quite a bit of money was invested on the litter robot. I advise looking up this pricey cat toilet on the website for the litter robot. They also provide excellent customer service. If you are struggling with cat urine, just get the jug. The sprayer won't be put to use. Douse the cat poop in Rocco and Roxie. It must be a puddle that seeps into the carpet pad and through the carpet. We are going in and cleaning this severe condition; we are not applying a band aid. Grab a UV light, turn out the lights, and get ready for night combat as soon as you have all the locations you can see. Find every spot that needs illumination, then apply Rocco and Roxie to every area. For someone like me, cat pee is not amusing. Wait it out for a few hours and use paper towels to soak up as much as you can once all the spots have been wet. I believe that if you use a towel, you are spreading cat poop from one area to another. The air will have a faint chemical odor. Again, stepping in cat pee is hardly the same as dumping your tumbler of vodka and soda water on purpose. Cat poop is a large ball of anxiety and rage that must be destroyed with powerful poisons.Continue with your life if you are happy with Rocco and Roxie and there is no smell of cat pee. Step 2 should be taken if you are CP-phobic and can smell a faint scent of cat pee.Buy Angry Orange before moving on to step two. Cats don't like the smell of angry orange, but most people find it to be rather nice. It has a strong orange aroma. I got the concentrated refill bottle in addition to the spray bottle. I combined a significant amount of the concentrated angry orange with some water in a spray bottle because I am CPphobic. Like the wild, insane lady I have become, I took my UV light and went after the spots. After spraying every location, the orange stench quickly spread throughout the entire house. My neighbors probably believe that I have set up a juicing station in the center of my kitchen. I strongly advise using the recommended amount of water to Angry Orange per the instructions. If you don't follow the instructions, your carpet will have a few small orange stains in addition to making you consider creating a book called "James and the Giant Orange." It allows us to move on to step 3.OxyClean is a Rocco and Roxie brand. Including my error of Angry Orange stains, this carpet cleaner removes even the toughest stains. Any stain should be treated with the product, sprayed on, let to sit for five minutes, and then cleaned off with paper towels.I feel as though I have done a good job of fighting this battle right now, but I remain cautious. My travertine flooring may be cleaned with an Oreck orbiter. I also purchased an Oreck Dry Carpet Cleaner in addition to the carpet cleaning attachments. I mist a 6 by 6 foot area with Rocco and Roxie OxyClean, then sprinkle the dry carpet cleaner all over. A SMALL AMOUNT GOES A LONG WAY. I use my Oreck orbiter to rub the cleaner into the carpet. Vacuum after 45 to 2 hours of waiting. In addition to removing stains, the dry carpet cleaner also eliminates allergens and cat litter smell. Steam cleaning carpets is not something I like. I've never been successful.

3/27/16 update: I returned to buy another 2-pack.*** Analysis ***I'm an employee at a reputable cosmetics company, and we are all forced to come to work dressed in white. Note: Chris's (J's wife) reviewI got this to clean and treat pet (cat and dog) poop, vomit, and urine stains on carpet to stop re-marking, remove odors, and remove stains. Wherever one of the cats had a hairball episode, my son's dog would also "mark" that location. Yuck! Prior to using this solution, I was able to remove 95% of the biological stains from the carpet, but I knew there had to be lingering dirt and stink in the carpet fibers. I came to this decision after having my grand dog stay with us for three months. His keen sense of smell helped me reach this conclusion because he marked all carpeting that had previously been soiled as his own, even though most of the stains were not even visible and were from YEARS AGO!!! The biological material included in any stain, whether recent or old, is truly broken down by the enzymes found in this product. Older, conventional carpet spot/stain removal treatments lack enzymes, providing only minimal cleansing and primarily odor masking.Additionally, around 7 years ago, when our pool had a particularly challenging mold/algae problem following spring opening that was characterized by "tissue paper-like" growth, I learned about swimming pool enzymes online. Even after using numerous bottles of algaecide, repeatedly deep-cleaning the DE filter, and numerous subsequent shockings, it ALWAYS returned! In the end, I employed an enzymatic solution PRIOR to shocking, and to my shock, it was permanently eliminated! The pool no longer had the dreaded oily sunscreen ring around the water line thanks to that lotion. What a difference this has made to my washing, wow! On a few of my clothes, I had some difficult stains that just wouldn't go away, and I was prepared to depressingly toss them away. I gave OxiClean White Revive Stain Remover Power Paks, 24 Count one last try, and the spots were gone, giving my clothes new life!
