There is a minor chemical odor in each of our cabinets. The paint, in my opinion. I believe that this order is there in every cabinet and that what differs the most between individuals is their sensitivity to it. I say this because I tend to be ULTRA SENSITIVE to smells, which is one of those folks. However, I'm not at all bothered or concerned about the order coming from these cabinets. Even the foam inserts and bumpers are of such high quality that I did not have to struggle with picking up countless tiny annoying pieces; 2) Guidelines. Easy and unambiguous to read; assembly. simple to understand. The only slight issue is that the shelves have about 1/8" play, which can be easily fixed with some felt cushioning. The wood material polish is great. All hardware pieces are well-machined and fit together properly. The finished product is elegant and well-built. My fingers pick up oil and dark sooty stuff from the nuts and bolts on other vendors' self-assemble items that cost three to four times as much and had poor fit. One of those hanging shelf organizers in my walk-in closet had started to fall apart, so I was looking for a replacement. Due to its location just below the closet hanger rung, it had to be fairly thin and no taller than 62". Compared to another fabric unit, this cabinet felt like the better choice. With the help of my son and husband, I put it together quite quickly once it arrived yesterday. For one person, I believe it might be harder. Numerous small bags filled with dowels and other items. Due to the lower shelves' ability to be adjusted, I took away a star because it was top heavy. This needs to be fastened to your wall. The tip over kit is included. This is considerably more unsteady because it is resting on carpet. Additionally, there are a few little holes around the sides of the door. It's where I keep my t-shirts and underwear. It has a good appearance and sufficient space for that use. Even though I can reuse my existing hanging shelf bins on the top shelves, the bins will not fit since the hinges from the door below take up too much room. The door may be removed, but it's currently functional. Bravo for the support. That is absent from so many of these cabinets. This is a wonderful option if you require a storage solution for a small area.
